 .

A team out of the AFC that many have forgotten about, but still linger as one of the teams to beat is the Cincinnati Bengals. This Bengals squad is still loaded with talent. They have some big time question marks heading into the 2024 season, but also have some massive expectations.

Before we get into the off-season trades, what we have here is a breakdown of the Cincinnati Bengals season and their betting NFL lines, betting props, and picks for the season. So keep on reading for more insights.

End Zone Insights: Navigating Betting NFL Lines for the Cincinnati Bengals’ 2024 Season | MyBookie NFL Betting Analysis for the Whole Season

Bengals Season | 55th in the National Football League | 8th under head coach Sean McDermott
2023: 9–8 record / 4th AFC North

Super Bowl Champion +1300

While this is at the high end of the potential for the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s not a bad thing to look ahead and dream big. The Bengals are sixth in the betting odds to win the Super Bowl. It is not that far fetched for this squad.

Keep in mind, they are the last team out of the AFC not named the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. The Cincinnati Bengals will need health, and some luck, but that is the case for all the teams heading into the start of the NFL season. The biggest downfall of last season was the early loss of Joe Burrow. Burrow back and healthy, and look out.

Cincinnati is 13/1, which means a $100 bet for the Bengals to win the Super Bowl would win you $1300 if they could get it done.

AFC Title: +700

The Cincinnati Bengals are 7/1 to win the AFC. The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills are all ahead of them. That does not surprise anyone. The Chiefs are the favorites until someone can beat them.

The Ravens have the league MVP from a season ago in Lamar Jackson, and were the top seed a season ago. The Buffalo Bills have the due factor, and a very determined Josh Allen. Do not forget, the Houston Texans are going to be loaded ahead of them, and even the Miami Dolphins were strong a season ago.

A new coach for the Los Angeles Chargers has them excited about their chances as well. The Cincinnati Bengals to win the AFC at 7/1 does not seem like the greatest value you can find.

AFC North: +165

At least it is more than even money. There is a case that all four teams in the AFC North could win the division. The Ravens already did, and have their dudes back, plus some help. The Bengals still have a great core, and some players that have been to the Super Bowl before.

The Cleveland Browns were a darling a season, and if they can stay healthy will be really good again. The Browns will win games by running the football and playing good defense. Their top running back got hurt, and they tossed the ball all over the field. It’s a good sign for Cleveland to see they win in different ways.

Then, you have the Pittsburgh Steelers. You never know what you are going to get with Mike Tomlin’s teams, but they have the potential of being really good. It’s quite a crap shoot at +165 to take the Bengals to win the AFC North.

Cincinnati Bengals to Make Playoffs: NO +180

People have different opinions on bets like this. The opinion held here is the NO is typically the way to bet, because it is going to give you nearly 2/1 odds. The Bengals did not make the postseason a season ago. Cincinnati had injuries, and they pretty much did them in.

Football is a brutal sport, and there is no guarantee they will not get banged up again. Plus, Cincinnati is in a tough division, where a team like 9-8 will be stopped short of a wildcard spot. When looking for a bet to make on the Cincinnati Bengals, this is probably our favorite one.

Too many variables have to go right for the other ones to come true. This is one that if a few things go wrong, it will win.

Cincinnati Bengals Win Total: 10.5

The Cincinnati Bengals have a win total of 10.5. They are going to play a little softer schedule this season, as they finished further down in the AFC North standings. But, the Bengals are still going to have to play Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh twice.

There is a good case for this team to finish at 10-7 or even 9-8. That is UNDER. It’s hard in the current state of the National Football League to bet many teams to win 11+ games. We would go with the UNDER if we were betting on this. Too many question marks.

Offseason Moves for Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals hope to get some help from their latest players in the National Football League draft. Their first pick was an offensive tackle. Someone that can keep Joe Burrow on his feet. That is Amarius Mims from Georgia. The other draft picks for the Bengals were Kris Jebkins, Jermaine Burton and McKinnley Jackson. The final day saw the Bengals grab Erick All, Josh Newton, Tanner McLachlan, Cedric Johnson, Daijahn Anthony and Matt Lee.

Offseason moves before the draft saw Cincinnati bring back Trenton Irwin as one of their receiving options. At the running back position, Zack Moss was signed as an unrestricted free agent. Moss was a big key for Indianapolis while Jonathon Taylor was unable to play a season ago.

Cincinnati has some issues coming into the offseason, as wide receiver Tee Higgins wants a contract extension, and Trey Hendrickson, the teams best defensive end also has asked for an extension, and raise. Hendrickson is signed through the 2025 season.

We anticipate another great season of football. Enjoy the off-season, and best of luck with all your NFL Betting!

Cincinnati Bengals 2023 Season Betting Guide

Previous Betting News

The Bengals are just below the NFL’s summit and the Kansas City Chiefs. But in terms of the other 30 teams in the league, no one else can claim to be as consistently good as the Bengals.

That makes for an interesting look ahead at betting on the Bengals in 2023.

Let’s see if Cincinnati Bengals have what it takes to back the betting lines to win the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati Bengals 2023 Season Betting Analysis | MyBookie NFL Betting Preview

Cincinnati Bengals | 54th season as a member of the National Football League
Owner: Mike Brown
Head coach: Zac Taylor
Home field: Paycor Stadium | Cleveland, Ohio

Super Bowl Champions (+1200)

As high as people are on the Bengals outlook, they are only playing the fifth shortest odds when it comes to a Super Bowl bet. The Chiefs, Bills, Eagles, and 49ers are all ahead of them.

The Chiefs are understandable, but it was Cincinnati in the AFC Championship in each of the last two years, and not Buffalo. And the 49ers don’t really know who is going to start at quarterback. In terms of Super Bowl winning value bets, the Bengals are high on the list.

AFC Champions (+550)

The last four AFC champions have been either the Chiefs or Bengals, so again, it’s understandable why Kansas City is at +330 to win the conference, and Cincinnati is +550.

But the Bengals trailing the Bills on this list is a good reason to bet the Bengals. They won the AFC after the 2021 season, and they won in Buffalo in last year’s playoffs.

AFC North Champions (+140)

This is an excellent division, and you could create scenarios in which even the Steelers and Browns ascend to the top of the AFC North. But the Bengals are the favorite to repeat, and the team most likely to prevent that from happening is the Baltimore Ravens, paying +240 to win the division.

Bengals Win Total

Cincinnati finds itself in rarified air when it comes to 2023 season win totals. Only three teams have their win total lines set at 11.5 – the two Super Bowl teams from last year, Kansas City and Philadelphia, and the Cincinnati Bengals.

It’s high praise for the Bengals, and it’s an intriguing bet. Taking the over on the Bengals win total, meaning 12 or more wins, actually pays +110. That means you are getting plus money if the Bengals win as many games as they did last year when they played just 16 games.

Their division schedule is challenging, and they do play the Chiefs and Bills. But Cincinnati also plays the weak AFC South and a weakened NFC West.

Weekly Bengals Betting

If you bet the Bengals on the moneyline last year, congratulations on going 12-4. But if you bet on them against the spread, you did even better, winning 13 of the 16 bets. That 81.6% win rate was the best in the NFL last season.

The Bengals excelled as the favorites, going 11-3 ATS, and they excelled as home favorites, finishing the season at 5-1 against the spread.

A look ahead to the 2023 season point spreads, and the Bengals are listed as the early favorite in 15 of their 17 games. They are only underdogs when they go to San Francisco in Week 8 (+1) and Kansas City in Week 17 (+3.5).

Previous Betting News

The Cincinnati Bengals have been good for the past couple of seasons. The 2021-2022 NFL AFC Conference champs almost pulled off back-to-back Super Bowl appearances last season.

This offseason, Cincinnati signed away Kansas City’s starting left tackle, Orlando Brown Jr. Adding Brown Jr. should make the Bengals one of the better teams to back to win games and cover spreads.

We present to you the Cincinnati Bengals top NFL games to bet in all Regular Season Week 1-18.

Cincinnati Bengals Top Games to Bet in Regular Season | MyBookie Regular Season Preview – NFL Week 1-18

NFL Regular Season: September 7, 2023 – January 7, 2024

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns | Week 1

NFL Odds: Bengals -2.5; Browns +2.5 / Bengals -132; Browns +09 / O/U 47.5
Sunday, Sep 10 at 1:00 pm
CBS / Paramount +

Joe Burrow and the Bengals’ offense should be much better this season than it was last season. Adding left tackle Orlando Brown Jr., one of the top offensive lineman in the NFL, will have a massive impact. Brown Jr. can defend Myles Garrett one-on-one without help, which will lead to an easy Bengals victory and cover.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals | Week 2

Sunday, Sep 17 at 1:00 pm
CBS / Paramount +

Baltimore’s defense projects as one of the top units in the league. The Bengals could struggle to score against Baltimore. However, Baltimore’s offense may have issues versus a good Cincinnati defense. The Bengals win, but the Ravens cover.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Ravens SU | Bet Ravens vs. Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals at San Francisco 49ers | Week 8

Sunday, Oct. 29 at 4:25 pm
CBS / Paramount +

The San Francisco 49ers should be the NFC’s best team. Unless Brock Purdy doesn’t step it up under center, and even if he doesn’t, Trey Lance or Sam Darnold are capable.

Bengals versus 49ers should be a great matchup. You will want to wait until week 8 to decide the winner SU and ATS. At this point, we can’t go against the 49ers because it happens on their field. But the play is on SF straight up.

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals | Week 9

Sunday, Nov. 5 at 8:20 pm
NBC / Peacock

The Bengals are better than Buffalo. Cincinnati has a defense that will be close to the Bills if not outright better than Buffalo’s. Cincinnati’s offense, unless injuries hit, will be better than Buffalo’s. Bengals cover as the home favorite.

NFL Week 9 Pick: Bengals ATS | Bet Bills vs. Bengals
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals | Week 12

Sunday, Nov 26 at 1:00 pm
CBS / Paramount +

Steelers versus Bengals is a classic NFL rivalry. In the first game of the season between the two teams, the Bengals have the edge because the game happens in Cincinnati.

Pittsburgh will play well. Mike Tomlin’s team always plays hard. But Cincinnati gets the win and cover.

NFL Week 12 Pick: Bengals ATS | Bet Steelers vs. Bengals
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game

Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars | Week 13

Monday, Dec. 4 at 8:15 pm
ESPN

Joe Burrow versus Trevor Lawrence is must see and must bet football. The Jaguars have the chance to be special this season.

The Bengals are angling for a Super Bowl victory. So although Jacksonville will be one of the better teams in the AFC, Cincinnati will be either the best or second best team in the conference.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Bengals SU & ATS | Bet Bengals vs. Jets
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers | Week 16

Saturday, Dec 23 at 4:30 pm
NBC / Peacock

The Bengals are too good to fall to Pittsburgh. However, Cincinnati could be overplayed against the spread. In fact, Cincinnati should be overplayed versus the spread line because they will be so far ahead of Pittsburgh in the AFC North.
Bengals may win the game straight up. But Pittsburgh could win against the spread.

NFL Week 14 Pick: Steelers ATS | Bet Bengals vs. Steelers
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs | Week 17

Sunday, Dec. 31 at 4:25 pm
CBS / Paramount +

The jury is out on the Kansas City Chiefs. On one hand, KC looks like a Super Bowl contender. But the left tackle position could be an issue.

Donovan Smith’s best days are behind him. Starting LT Orlando Brown Jr. now plays for Cincinnati. The Bengals, unless Brown Jr. is injured, win this straight up.

Previous Betting News

The Cincinnati Bengals are in the playoffs for the first season since 2015 and looking for their first playoff victory since 1990. The Bengals open on Wild-Card Weekend against the visiting Las Vegas Raiders. Let’s break down the Bengals’ odds.

Odds vs. Raiders: Bengals -6.5 (total 49.5)
Odds to win AFC: +730
Odds to win Super Bowl 56: +1700

With the Bengals essentially locked into their seeding as AFC North champions, they didn’t bother playing quarterback Joe Burrow or most starters in Sunday’s 21-16 loss in Cleveland so disregard that result. Brandon Allen completed 15-of-29 passes for 136 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in the loss but he won’t take the field this postseason unless Burrow is hurt or tests positive for COVID.

Ja’Marr Chase caught 2-of-4 targets for 26 yards on Sunday. Chase caught a two-yard pass on the opening play of the game. Then on the first play of the Bengals’ second drive, he caught a short pass and burst up the sideline for 24 yards, setting the Bengals franchise receiving record in the process. Chase is going to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Chase finished the season with 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He finished 18 yards short of the NFL rookie record for a single-season held by Houston’s Bill Groman (1,473 in 1960).

In Sunday’s loss, the Bengals broke the club record for most points in a season with 3:29 left on safety Trayvon Henderson’s 29-yard fumble return for a touchdown after defensive end Wyatt Ray hit Browns QB Case Keenum’s arm just as he began to throw. Henderson, a three-year member of the practice squad playing in his 10th career game and second of the season, converted the Bengals’ first fumble return for a touchdown since rookie defensive end Sam Hubbard took one in against Miami in 2018.

On Monday, the team Bengals activated star running back Joe Mixon from the reserve/COVID-19 list. The team also activated C Trey Hopkins, LG Quinton Spain, S Vonn Bell, DE Trey Hendrickson, DT B.J. Hill, and DT Larry Ogunjobi from the COVID-19 list. Mixon will make his postseason debut this weekend against a Raiders team allowing 27.6 rushing attempts per game.

Mixon enjoyed an excellent regular season, notching career highs in rushing attempts (292), yards (1,205) and touchdowns (13). The running back also caught 42 passes for a career-high 314 yards and matched a career high with three receiving scores.

There will be a lot of talk this week about the Bengals’ 31-year playoff victory drought, but with the exception of three players and two coaches, no member of this year’s team has any connection to what is the longest active dry spell in any of the four major sports. Only two of his players expected to be active Saturday, punter Kevin Huber and long snapper Clark Harris, were alive on Jan. 13, 1991 when the Bengals very nearly beat the Los Angeles Raiders in the AFC playoffs.

“Sometimes they don’t know what they don’t know, and that can be a really good thing,” said Coach Zac Taylor. “You certainly can’t avoid some of the narrative that surrounds us sometimes with our playoff experience, but again, these guys don’t have that playoff experience. There are a lot of things they’ve done this year to change some of those things. This week will be no different.”

Weather could definitely be a factor on Saturday when the Bengals host the Raiders. Cincinnati won in Las Vegas in Week 11, 32-13. Mixon rushed for 123 yards and scored two touchdowns. Burrow was 20 of 29 for 148 yards and threw one touchdown for Cincinnati, while Chase caught three passes, including one TD. Bengals kicker Evan McPherson had four field goals and became the 13th player with three of 50 yards or more in a game.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr finished 19 of 27 for 215 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Tight end Darren Waller caught seven passes for 116 yards, while his backup Foster Moreau’s lone catch was a 19-yard touchdown. Las Vegas failed to convert on its first six third-down attempts until Carr hit Hunter Renfrow for 8 yards on a third-and-2 with two minutes left in the game.

Previous Betting News

The Cincinnati Bengals had their Super Bowl hopes dashed last season because of injuries – and foolishness on the part of suspended linebacker Vontaze Burfict.

Now, with the Bengals looking for their first playoff win in the Marvin Lewis-Andy Dalton era, let’s find out what lies in the online betting store for Cincy as they get set for the quickly-approaching 2016 regular season.

Cincinnati Bengals Season Expert Predictions

2016 Regular Season Win Total Odds: Over/Under 9.5 Wins

I like the Cincinnati Bengals more than most and I believe they’re going to only lose road games against Pittsburgh, New England and Houston while likely running the table at home. Whether the Bengals win 13 games or not, they’re a virtual lock to top their low win total in 2016. Take the money and run on this wager mybookie football bettors!

AFC North Division Odds +140

The Steelers are surprisingly favored to win the AFC North in 2016, but I like Cincy to record back-to-back division titles, mostly because Pittsburgh will be without dual-threat running back Le’Veon Bell for the first four games of the regular season. At +140, the Bengals are offering a ton of value here!

AFC Championship Odds +750

I see no reason why Cincinnati isn’t worth a bet to win the AFC in 2016 as I expect them to be one of four teams with the best chance to represent the AFC in Super Bowl 51, along with New England, Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

Super Bowl 51 Odds +1200

Cincinnati is a bit of a long shot, to win Super Bowl 51, but they’re certainly not a pretender by any means. At +1200, the return the Bengals are offering makes them a great value pick to upset the entire apple cart and win it all in 2016!
