Because the AFC East plays the AFC West and the NFC East this season, the Jets’ schedule is brutal. It’s not as tough as division rival New England’s, but it’s close to being as tough. The Jets have an advantage over almost every opponent they face this season, though, because Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback. Check out a list of NYJ home and away games along with analysis, and predictions.
We will now give you a brief betting Home/Away analysis of each of the Jets opponents for the 2023 season before the NFL odds to win the Super Bowl go out.
2023 New York Jets Home/Away Betting Analysis
New York Jets: 54th season in the NFL
Owner: Woody and Christopher Johnson
Head Coach: Robert Saleh
Home Field: MetLife Stadium | East Rutherford, New Jersey
NFL 2023 Team-By-Team Analysis: New York Jets Home & Away
New York Jets fans should be ultra-excited about their team’s prospects this season. The J-E-T-S have a real shot of winning their division. In fact, if Rodgers remains healthy, it’s difficult seeing the Jets more than two home games because the defense is terrific.
Robert Saleh is one of the best defensive coaches in the NFL. Saleh is a mastermind strategist. He’s also got plenty of fantastic defenders.
The front four of Carl Lawson, Solomon Thomas, Quinnen Williams, and John Franklin-Myers might be the best in the NFL. C.J. Moseley is easily one of the league’s top linebackers and corner Sauce Gardener and safety Jordan Whitehead are two of the best at their position.
Adding Rodgers to an offense with playmaking running back Breece Hall and terrific wide receiver Garrett Wilson should catapult the Jets’ offense to near the top of the rankings.
NYJ, and we know how crazy this sounds, could go undefeated at home in 2023. But we aren’t predicting they do. The Jets will lose at least 2 home games. We don’t know exactly which teams the losses will com from, but they will lost two home games. Most likely, the losses will come against Philly and KC.
Predicted Home Win/Loss Record: 7-2 | NFL Regular Season Wins
Jets Away Games
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
Las Vegas Raiders
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Giants
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns
The Jets away schedule is tough. But NYJ should be better than most teams they play on the road. When it comes to individual matchups, Aaron Rodgers will lead the Jets to wins in close away contests.
Rodgers always beats the Cowboys. That feels like a win. The Jets should confuse Russell Wilson. So a victory over Denver in a road matchup is not out of the question.
The J-E-T-S should also beat the Giants, Patriots, and Browns. Buffalo and Miami could be difficult. The Jets will make both games close, but Josh Allen and the Bills and Tua Tagovailoa and the Fins should prevail.
Without knowing when the games happen, we’ll peg NYJ for 5-of-7 away victories. If predictions are correct, the New York Jets will finish the season with a 13-4 record, which tells you the impact we believe Rodgers will have on the team.
