Betting 2024 NFL Season
It’s time to start looking ahead to the Week 6 slate of NFL games, and there are going to be some great options to check out.
Not only does the NFL provide some excellent drama throughout the week, there are also some great bets with each game.
Here is a look at five of the games with the best betting options to check out when it comes to looking at the over/under lines.
Writer’s NFL Over/Under Picks for the Sixth Week of the Season
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks: Under 47.5
The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks will kick off the Week 6 action on Thursday night, and this is a big game.
These are two teams that are battling it out in the NFC West, and this game could impact how things play out moving forward.
These are two good teams, but betting the under continues to be the right play to explore for TNF matchups.
24 points will win this game, allowing the under to hit.
NFL OU Pick: Under
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears: Over 42.5
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears will be playing in London on Sunday, and this should be an interesting matchup.
Jacksonville just won their first game of the NFL season, while the Chicago Bears are currently sitting at 3-2 on the year.
Caleb Williams continues to get better for the Bears, and this feels like an offense that is getting ready to take off.
The Bears might go for 30 or more points in this one as they will push the total to more than 42.5.
NFL OU Pick: Over
Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens: Under 51.5
The Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens are two teams that can put points on the board, but playing defense will decide this matchup.
Jayden Daniels continues to be a superstar for the Commanders, but he is going to be facing a great defense in this game.
Baltimore will be looking to establish the run in this one, and that is going to chew up some clock as well.
Take the under 51.5 points in this matchup as 24 points will be enough to win.
NFL OU Pick: Under
Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots: Over 37.5
The New England Patriots are going to try to find a way to win a game, and they usually set the tone on defense.
New England is hosting the Houston Texans in this one, and the over/under is set extremely low in this matchup.
Houston is capable of going over 30 points on their own, and that is going to lead to this one going way past the total.
NFL OU Pick: Over
Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers: Under 48.5
A pair of NFC South teams will meet up in Carolina on Sunday, and this is a matchup of two teams heading in opposite directions.
Atlanta looks like a team that can win the division this season, while things continue to be a struggle for Carolina.
The Falcons continue to be a team that struggles to find offense, but they should be able to break out a bit in this game.
Panthers are not going to find the end zone much in this one, and that’s why taking the under will be the bet to make.
NFL OU Pick: Under

NFL Week 6 Over/Under Betting Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Preview
2023-24 NFL | 104th season of the National Football League
NFL Week 6: October 11th – October 17th, 2023
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs | Thursday Night Football
O/U Total: 50.5
Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. | PRIME VIDEO
GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
The Thursday Night Football Game of the Week features a pair of AFC West teams. This is a massive rivalry game, and no one knows these two teams better than each other. The Broncos have been a pretty poor defensive team, but look for them to put on their defensive shoes in a short week.
The Broncos’ only chance is to keep this score down. They are going to have to contain Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense to have any chance. Look for a closer game than many project, and this game stays UNDER with a 27-21 score on Thursday Night Football.
NFL TNF Week 6 O/U Pick: UNDER 50.5 | Bet Broncos at Chiefs
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Total
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals
O/U Total: 44.5
Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. | CBS
Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a bye week and should be ready to fire on all cylinders. This offense, led by Geno Smith, has been underrated so far this season.
Now, they get a Cincinnati team that is coming off a breakout game against Arizona. The best news for the Bengals was getting Ja’Marr Chase back in the fold offensively as one of the best players in the game.
Look for this game to go OVER as both teams pick up the pace in the game.
NFL Week 6 O/U Pick: OVER 46 | Bet Seahawks at Bengals
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Total
Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
O/U Total: 46
Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 4:25 p.m. | FOX
Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
The Detroit Lions can play some defense. They also can really play offense. Tampa Bay knows that, and this game is not on the turf. That means Jared Goff should be slowed down a little bit.
The Lions can run the ball as well, but Tampa Bay has the personnel to slow that down. Look for a game with field goals controlling the score and the UNDER wins out here.
NFL Week 6 O/U Pick: UNDER 46 | Bet Lions at Buccaneers
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Total
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
O/U Total: 46
Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 4:25 p.m. | FOX
SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
The Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams are another divisional rivalry game. Arizona has been competitive, but overall, their defense still is not very good. The Rams are at home and have Cooper Kupp back rolling on the offensive side.
Now, with Kupp and Nacua, this team is dangerous in the pass game. Look for Matthew Stafford to spread the ball out all over the field, and this game goes OVER. The winner gets into the 30’s in this one!
NFL Week 6 O/U Pick: OVER 46 | Bet Cardinals at Rams
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Total
New York Giants at Buffalo Bills | Sunday Night Football
O/U Total: 46
Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at 8:20 p.m. | NBC
Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
The Sunday Night Football game is a battle of New York teams. The Giants are at the Bills for a fun affair. The Giants have really struggled, and the Bills are coming off a loss in their last game.
Look for Buffalo to play with an edge here and score, score, and score some more. The New York Giants are in big trouble in this game. Josh Allen is going to make sure he gets his weapons involved, and the total is going to go OVER.
NFL Week 6 SNF O/U Pick: OVER 46 | Bet Giants at Bills
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Total
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers | Monday Night Football
O/U Total: 47.5
Monday, October 16th, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. | ABC, ESPN
SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
Monday Night Football features a pair of teams that are fun to follow. The Cowboys are a really good defensive team, but this appears to be a game to bet the OVER.
Dak Prescott and his weapons against Justin Herbert and his cast of characters. Look for a shootout, with both teams getting into the 30’s here. Take the OVER!

NFL 2021 Season Week 6 O/U Betting Picks & Predictions
Previous Betting News
It is tough to make Super Bowl predictions after just 5 weeks of the regular season, but it does appear that we could potentially have some dark horse teams rising up and making a playoff run. Then again, that could all change in the next few weeks, as the stronger teams that are currently struggling a bit find their feet. Right now, you have to say that the Buffalo Bills look very much like the team to beat, while Tom Brady still looks to be ageless in Tampa. In terms of dark horse teams, the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals are in the mix, as are the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Chargers. Again, we might well be talking about different teams a month from now, but that is where we currently stand. For now, let’s take a look at our NFL O/U picks for Week 6 of the 2021 regular season so you can bet against the NFL odds.
Week 6 O/U Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles (52 ½)
We all keep waiting for that moment when Tom Brady finally runs out of gas, but it still looks like it’s a long way from happening. He is coming off a Week 5 game that saw him toss 5 TD passes as the Buccaneers continue to hum along rather nicely. Philadelphia finally snapped a 3-game losing skid with a win over Carolina this past weekend, but you certainly feel as though they are about to add another digit to the loss column on Thursday night. In terms of the point total, Tampa has seen the OVER hit in 4 of their last 5, as well as in 6 of their last 7 against conference foes. In their last 6 home meetings with Tampa, Philly has seen the OVER hit 4 times.
LA Chargers at Baltimore Ravens (O51 ½)
This might well be the matchup of the week, as these are a pair of teams that have been fun to watch over the first 5 weeks of the season. The Chargers are thriving under the leadership of Justin Herbert at QB, while the Ravens are adopting a cardiac kids approach to football, coming from behind to snatch wins on a regular basis. In short, we have a pair of explosive offensive set to square off this weekend, and while that often ends up in a low-scoring affair, I think we are looking at the OVER with this one. Oddly enough, it is the under that has been trending for both teams, but that being said, the OVER has hit in 14 of the last 20 games in which the Ravens have played a team from the AFC West.
Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers (U46)
It is perhaps a little too early in the season to be talking about must win games, but when you see how things are shaping up, you do have to say that both of these teams could use a win. It already looks as though the NFC North title is heading to Green Bay even after just 5 games, especially with the Vikings sitting at 2-3 on the season. The Panthers do have a winning record, but they are trying to keep pace with a Tampa Bay team that seems to be firing on all cylinders. Neither of these offenses have been lighting things up, so I think we are looking at a tight, defensive battle with this one.

NFL 2020 Week 6 O/U Picks Expert Analysis
Previous Betting News
One of the biggest concerns heading into this season was that the coronavirus would somehow leave its mark on the season. There have been a few teams who have been hit, and while the league had done a good job of shuffling dates around, it does create a bit of a situation for players and bettors alike. Games have already needed to be rescheduled and bye weeks adjusted to manage the situation, and while it is working for now, are we in danger of reaching a situation where it becomes too difficult to work around? I remain hopeful that everyone will learn to adapt and make this potential hazard a non-factor, and with that in mind, we look ahead to Week 7. For this piece, we are going to focus solely on our O/U picks for the week, but we will also have SU and ATS picks coming your way. That being, let’s get right into action so you can keep on betting against their NFL odds.
Week 6 O/U Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting
Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles (OVER 47 ½)
Given how good the Ravens were on the offensive side of the football last season, the bookies may have been a little too eager to set their point totals on the high side, which might well explain why the Ravens have been trending towards the under this season. The Eagles have had their offensive issues this year, but Carson Wentz and company played well against one of the best defensive units in football last week in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. There are a couple of reasons why I am leaning towards the OVER here, starting with the fact that the OVER has hit in 4 of the last Week 6 games for the Ravens. They are also 5-1 O/U in their last 6 games on grass. Not entirely convincing trends, but enough to make me look at the OVER.
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (OVER 51)
This might well be the best game on the schedule this week, which is not something you get to say very often about a game that the Cleveland Browns are playing in. The reality, though, is that this Browns team is now beginning to live up to the hype, but this will be a tough test for them in Pittsburgh against a Steelers team that has yet to take a loss. While the Browns have been racking up some serious offense in their 4-game winning streak, they have also been giving points up, which is why the OVER has hit in 5 of their last 6 games. Even with a solid defense to draw upon, the Steelers are still trending towards the OVER, with 4 of their last 5 going that route.
Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (OVER 57 ½)
While both of these teams are off to a fantastic start to the season, this one is critical for both the Chiefs and the Bills. Each of these teams went into Week 5 with an unbeaten record, but they both took their first losses of the season once it was all said and done. One of them will be on a 2-game losing skid once this is over, which is where doubts can begin to creep in. With that in mind, you can expect KC and Buffalo to come out in this one with all guns blazing, as they both look to bounce back and stop a losing skid in its tracks. The Bills have seen 4 of their last 5 go OVER, while the other game was a push. In games following an outing where the Chiefs failed to surpass 90 yards on the ground, the OVER has hit 7 out of the last 9.
