NFL Week 17 Lines & Predictions: This Week’s Betting Winners

Early NFL Week 17 odds betting can be advantageous, and there will be plenty of intriguing pro football matchups to start the new year. There are many close lines on the NFL Week 17 odds board, but there are three matches that are sure bets for this coming week.

Due to the new 18-week schedule, Week 17 is no longer the final week of the NFL regular season, but there are still some important matchups with playoff implications. Let’s examine our top picks for victory in Week 17 in more detail so you can get ready to bet against the NFL Betting Lines.

Who Are the Sure Winners in Week 17 of NFL Action?

Dallas Cowboys (-3) vs Tennessee Titans

Let’s start off with Thursday Night Football as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium. There is no doubt that the Cowboys have disappointed recently.

Dallas was almost upset by the Houston Texans and then fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime. Despite this, the offense continues to put up major points as they come into this matchup averaging 28.9 points.

The Tennessee Titans, on the other hand, have been arguably the biggest disappointment this NFL season after starting the season 7-3. The Titans have since dropped their last five contests and are in danger of missing the playoffs entirely.

Tennessee hasn’t covered the spread in their last five games, while the Cowboys are 9-6 ATS this season. Lock in the Cowboys as surefire winners to kick off Week 17.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-5) vs Houston Texans

Don’t look now, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have rattled off three straight victories, and they are tied for first in the AFC South. Jacksonville has caught fire, and Doug Pederson has this team clicking on all cylinders.

The Jags are averaging 31.7 points per game over their three-game winning streak, while Trevor Lawrence has taken major strides at quarterback with seven touchdowns and just one interception over his last three games.

Houston has been the most disappointing team in the NFL, and they will look to hang on to that #1 overall pick in the 2023 draft. Houston ranks near the bottom in nearly every offensive category, while their defense hasn’t fared well either, conceding almost 24 points per game.

Jacksonville has covered the spread in each of their last three games and four of their last five. Expect them to win their fourth straight and take control of the AFC South in Week 17.

San Francisco 49ers (-4) vs Las Vegas Raiders

In Week 15, the 49ers defeated the Seahawks to clinch the NFC West, but they are still competing for a playoff spot while trying to get Brock Purdy as much experience as they can before the postseason begins.

The 49ers keep up their great play on the field, especially on defense, where Nick Bosa is a strong candidate for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

The Raiders lost despite being in a close game and having the lead once again. The Raiders keep making mistakes and turning the ball over, proving they can’t be relied upon to win games.

Not only do the 49ers have the league’s best defense, but they have also covered the spread in each of their previous six games and seven of their last eight contests. Expect the 49ers to walk away as winners once again in Week 17.
