ATP Tour 250 series

2023 ATP Winner: Hubert Hurkacz

Top 3 Players

Hubert Hurkacz

Hurkacz won last year’s tournament, beating Benjamin Bonzi in straight sets in the final. He was the top seed in the tournament and thus received a bye into the second round. Hurkacz is again the top seed in 2024 and has a favorable path to win his half of the bracket. He’ll play the winner of Benjamin Bonzi and Alexander Shevchenko in the second round and is undefeated against both players (2-0 against Bonzi and 1-0 versus Shevchenko).

Hurkacz is also playing some of the best tennis of his career early this season. He’s 7-3 through his first 10 matches and ranked a career-best No. 8 in the world. He reached the quarter-finals in the Australian Open and last played on January 29, beating Sergey Fomin of Uzbekistan 6-2, 6-1, in Davis Cup qualifiers.

Grigor Dimitrov

Dimitrov is also off to an impressive start in 2023 and is now ranked No. 13 in the world. He’s 7-1 through eight matches and won the ATP 250 Brisbane International in January, beating Holger Rune in straight sets in the final. He reached the third round of the Australian Open, where he lost in four sets to Nuno Borges.

Dimitrov, as the second seed, earns an automatic bye into the second round, where he’ll play the winner of Sebastian Korda and one of four qualifiers. He lost his only match against Korda, so he doesn’t exactly have an easy path to the semis.

Karen Khachanov

Khachanov is 3-2 this season and doesn’t appear to be playing his best tennis, but he’s a five-time champion on the ATP Tour and is a past winner at the Open 13 Provence, winning the tournament in 2017. He lost his last match in the Round of 16 at the Australian Open to Jannik Sinner.

Khachanov will play the winner of Roberto Bautista Agut and Richard Gasquet in the second round. Other players in his quarter of the bracket include Zhizhen Zhang, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Quentin Halys.

Open 13 Provence Finals Prediction

A French player hasn’t won the Open 13 Provence since Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2017, but three players from the country have been runner-up since then. Ugo Humbert, the fourth seed in the tournament, has the best chance among French players this year and has a decent path to winning his half of the bracket. The four-time winner on the ATP Tour is 3-1 this season. Khachanov is a strong bet to reach the final as well, although Auger-Aliassime, a two-time runner-up, is another solid option.

2023 ATP 250 Predictions: Qatar ExxonMobil Open and Open 13 Provence

Previous Betting News

The ATP tour spreads out again this week with three tournaments around the globe. With a 500-level clay court tournament in South America, the hard court tournaments are in France and Qatar. The two hard-court tournaments are ATP 250 events, and here we’ll break down the ATP odds for both of them at MyBookie.

Tennis Predictions: ATP 250 – Qatar Open and Open 13 Provence

ATP 250: Qatar ExxonMobil Open

When: February, 11th to 25th
Where: Khalifa International Tennis and Squash, Doha, Qatar

Time: See Schedule
TV: Tennis Channel

Fresh off a win last week in Rotterdam, Danill Medvedev is the guy to watch at the ExxonMobil Open. The Russian is the No. 3 seed this week after winning the title last week as the No. 6 seed in the Netherlands. He cruised through the bracket without dropping a set until the final, when he rallied from one set down to beat Janik Sinner for his first title of the season.

Among the contenders to Medvedev in Doha are top-seeded Andrey Rublev and No. 2 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. The latter reached the quarters in Rotterdam but was no match for Medvedev in a 6-2, 6-4 loss. Rublev lost in the first round in Rotterdam but has a pretty easy route to the semis this week.

Roberto Bautista Agut, the No. 5 seed, is the defending champion in Qatar. He has made the final of the Doha Open in three of the last four years, with wins in 2019 and 2022. He could face Medvedev in the quarters, with Auger-Aliassime awaiting the winner in the semifinals.

The winner of the Alexander Zverev/Andy Murray match in the second round will be a factor in the top half of the draw as well. Zverev, the No. 4 seed, is a –185 favorite to beat veteran Murray, who holds a 2-1 head-to-head advantage. Murray won his opener in three sets and looked sharp in the season-opening Australian Open.

13 Provence Open

When: February, 19th to 26th
Where: Marseille Sports Palace, Marseille, France

Time: See Schedule
TV: Tennis Channel

On the indoor hardcourts in Marseille, France, this week, the favorite is the No. 2 seed, Janik Sinner. The Italian is flying up the ATP World Rankings this month with a title in Montpellier and a runner-up finish in Rotterdam. The 21-year-old is now ranked 12th in the world and boasts wins over No. 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas and former Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka in the last tournament.

Sinner could face Wawrinka again in the quarterfinals this week, while seeded players Richard Gasquet, Maxime Cressy, and Alex de Minaur are also in his half of the draw. Cressy made a run at Montpellier earlier this month and lost 7-6, 6-3 to Sinner in the final.

Hubert Hurkacz is the top seed in Marseille, and the 11th-ranked player in the world. He lost in straight sets in the round of 16 last week in Rotterdam after winning three matches at the Australian Open.

Grigor Dimitrov, who beat Hurkacz last week, is the No. 4 seed and in the same half of the bracket. David Goffin and Marc-Andre Huesler are the other seeded players in the top half.

Overall, eight of the top 50 players in the world are in Marseille this week. Recent winners include Rublev, Medvedev, and Tsitsipas, so a win this week could be a launching pad for Sinner or Hurkacz to break into the top 10 and make a run at Indian Wells next month.

ATP 2022 Qatar Open, Delray Beach Open and Open 13 Betting Analysis & Picks

Previous Betting News

MyBookie brings you free Tennis Betting previews and predictions for three ATP events, including the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, Delray Beach Open, and the Open 13 Provence, which are set to play out between February 14-21. So without further ado, here are our top picks for the three tennis tournaments so you can place your bets against the ATP Odds.

ATP 250 Events Betting Previews & Predictions: February 14-21

2022 Qatar ExxonMobil Open Betting Picks

For the 2022 Qatar ExxonMobil Open, there are two tennis players we’re interested in backing – Dan Evans and Marton Fucsovics.

Dan Evans spends a lot of his time in nearby Dubai these days and has been spotted practicing on the outdoor courts, so he should be set to do well. Furthermore, he had started the season well, winning all three of his matches at the ATP Cup before he made the semis in Sydney.

Unfortunately, he suffered a devastating Felix Auger-Aliassime at the Australian Open, but he had his chances, so there’s no harm in that. Admittedly, Evans has both Roberto Bautista Agut and Marin Cilic in his half of the draw, but Evans has yet to lose to either of them.

Marton Fucsovics showed solid form in Rotterdam last week, and his record (5-2) at this tournament isn’t bad either, with two quarter-finals runs in the last two years. Furthermore, he took a set off Novak Djokovic in the past at this venue.

Even though Fucsovics will need to step up to deliver and win the tournament, he’s a good bet as one of the outsider picks.

Pick: Dan Evans

Pick: Marton Fucsovics

2022 Delray Beach Open Betting Picks

Reilly Opelka stands out as a solid pick for the 2022 Delray Beach Open as the recent Dallas Open finalist. In Dallas, Opelka had shown he has an exceptional serve, slamming 84 aces in three matches before he had to admit defeat to Brooksby (6-7, 6-7).

Even though the conditions won’t be optimal to how Opelka likes to play, many big servers won the Delray Beach Open in the past, including Ivo Karlovic, Sam Querrey, and Marin Cilic. And did we forget to mention that Opelka already won here in 2020?

If Opelka can keep his momentum going, he will be tough to beat, and he’s definitely at the same level as the favorites. Maxime Cressy could threaten him, but he wasn’t that great in Dallas, so it’s fair to say that he won’t look much better one week later.

Pick: Reilly Opelka

2022 Open 13 Provence Betting Picks

The 2022 Open 13 Provence will be an exciting event, providing one of the fastest playing conditions on the ATP Tour on the Marseille courts. As a result, we have to take a look at players who do well in faster games, and one name that stands out is Ilya Ivashka.

Admittedly, he’s a complete longshot pick, but he has a big serve that should prove difficult to break in these conditions. What’s more, Belarus is known for coming forward to the net if presented the opportunity, which should help.

He has already shown his propensity for speedy conditions by reaching the last 16 in Wimbledon in 2021, and he made semis in Nur-Sultan. He has the potential to upset the field, although Ivashka will have to fight through a very competitive draw, so we would keep our stakes low.

Pick: Ilya Ivashka
