The ATP Tour continues on with regularly scheduled tournaments this week following the conclusion of the Laver Cup this past weekend. The Laver Cup featured some of the biggest names in tennis, including Roger Federer returning for a series of matches. However, the three ATP tournaments this week aren’t lacking in talent either.
Tournaments will be played simultaneously in Bulgaria, Korea, and Israel. The ATP is returning to Israel for the first time since 1996. Let’s take a look at the ATP Betting favorites for each of the three events and other intriguing storylines.

Sinner Looking to Get Back on Track
Italian sensation Jannik Sinner headlines the field at the ATP Sofia Open in Bulgaria. The tournament, which launched in 2016, is an ATP 250 event played indoors on hard courts. Sinner has won the event in consecutive years and is a strong betting favorite to win for the third time in three years. He defeated Gael Monfils and Vasek Pospisil in the finals in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
The 21-year-old lost in the quarter-finals of the US Open to Carlos Alcaraz and is 43-13 this season. If he’s committed, he shouldn’t have much of a challenge in Bulgaria.
Ilya Ivashka (+1400) is a good value bet for those looking for an alternative outside of Sinner. The Belarusian player had a strong showing at the US Open before losing in five sets to Sinner in the Round of 16.
Loaded Field in Tel Aviv
The 2022 Tel Aviv Open will be the first edition of the tournament since 1996. An ATP 250 level event played on hard courts at the Expo Tel Aviv; the tournament features a loaded field considering its status. Novak Djokovic, who was unable to play at the US Open or other tournaments in North America due to his vaccination status, headlines the field.
Djokovic is coming off of a loss to Felix Auger-Aliassime at the Laver Cup, perhaps showing signs of rust. He had previously defeated Canadians in 29 consecutive matches at the annual tournament.
Other notable players in the field include Marin Cilic, Diego Schwartzman, Maxime Cressey, Botic van de Zandschulp, and Aslan Karatsev.
Favorites in Korea
The Eugene Korea Open Tennis Championship is an indoor ATP event held in Seoul, South Korea at the Olympic Park Tennis Center. The WTA Hana Bank Korea Open took place at the same venue last week and was won by Ekaterina Alexandrova.
The men’s draw is headlined by 2022 US Open finalist Casper Ruud. The No. 1 seed is the betting favorite to win, and for good reason, given his impressive performance at the US Open. Although he’s a stronger clay court player, Ruud opened some eyes with his showing on the hard courts in New York. He’ll have some stiff competition in Korea, however.
The field also includes top 25 players Cameron Norrie, Taylor Fritz, Denis Shapovalov, and Dan Evans.
