NBA Season 2022-2023- Weekly Best Bets Roundup

Written by on December 12, 2022

We’re a third of the way through the NBA season, and we’re starting to figure out what teams are for real, and what teams are looking at making an appearance in the draft lottery. In looking at this week’s slate of games, we have found a couple of games that we really like.

We’re going to give you a breakdown of each game, and then we’ll give you our betting advice on that game as well.

Top NBA Games of the Week

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Clippers – Monday, December 12th

The Boston Celtics continue their western road swing with a trip to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers on Monday night. Boston is looking to rebound from a 123-107 drubbing at Golden State on Saturday night. At 21-6, the Celtics still hold the best record in the NBA.

The Celtics are 10-4 on the road this season, and have won eight of their last 10. We’ll see if the Clippers are catching them at a good time, or if Boston will be fired up to get back on the winning track.

The Clippers return home from a trip out east. They finished their four-game trip with a 2-2 record. We’ll see if the Clippers have their full arsenal of weapons, as it looks like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will be ready to play. Boston will be without the services of Al Horford and Robert Williams.

As of right now, the Celtics are 3.5-point favorites. They are the best defensive team in the league, and we think the Clippers will have a hard time slowing Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown down. We like the Celtics in this one.

Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks – Tuesday, December 13th

This is the game of the week! The Warriors are coming off of a huge victory over the Celtics on Saturday night, while the Milwaukee Bucks won at Dallas on Friday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t around for the end of that game, as he had fouled out around the two-minute mark.

The Bucks are currently 1.5 games behind the Celtics for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Khris Middleton returned to the Milwaukee lineup last week, and he’s still getting back into the swing of things.

Milwaukee has been playing well, as they’ve gone 7-3 in their last ten games. They’re very good at home, as they have a 12-3 record at the Fiserv Forum.

The Warriors have had their struggles this season, but coming off of a big win over the Celtics should give them a boost. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they’re one of the worst road teams in the NBA this season.

With a 2-11 record away from home, it’s hard to expect anything from the Warriors when they’re on the road. Even with a full lineup, we have a hard time picking the Warriors on the road.

We expect to see the Bucks favored by three to seven points. With Golden State’s abysmal road record, it’s going to be hard to take the Warriors in this one. Milwaukee is playing well, and being at home will be a huge boost for them.
