Who do you think will win the Super Bowl this season? Many of you already have your picks made, but for those still adopting a wait and see attitude, the final two weeks of the regular season could cement the decision. Over the years we have seen teams come to life near the end of the season, going on a positive run of form that carries over into the postseason; think about the Tennessee Titans last season. We also have teams who lose momentum and struggle to get the job done when it matters. The Pittsburgh Steelers are in danger of landing in that category. For now, all we can do is take a look at Week 16 and our O/U picks for the weekend so you can bet against their NFL odds.
Week 16 O/U Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting
Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (UNDER 52)
If we are going to talk about teams heading in the wrong direction at this late stage of the season, we need to take a look at the New Orleans Saints. They have now lost 2 in a row and are unlikely to nab the #1 seed that looked to be in their grasp just a couple of weeks ago. The Saints will be back home this weekend after a tough loss to the Chiefs in a game where they battled to the end. The Vikings, another team on a 2-game losing skid will be the visitors in a matchup that usually always delivers offense, with 8 of the last 12 meetings going over the point total. The Saints have seen the UNDER hit in 5 of their last 7 games, as well as in 4 of their last 5 versus teams from the NFC.
Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders (OVER 47 ½)
This is an absolutely huge game with massive playoff implications. As it stands right now, the Miami Dolphins are clinging to the #7 seed in the AFC, but they have the Baltimore Ravens breathing down their neck. The Las Vegas Raiders are still mathematically alive, but they would need to win out and get some serious help along the way. It would be a miracle if they found their way into the postseason. Miami has not been putting up huge offensive numbers with Tua under center, but they have been getting the wins they need. They are going to need to up the ante this weekend against a potent Raiders offense. The OVER has hit in 6 of the last 7 Raiders home games and I think it goes that way again this week.
Atlanta Falcons at Kansas City Chiefs (OVER 53 ½)
The Chiefs are putting together another fantastic regular season, with just 1 loss to this point, but they will be well aware that making it back to the Super Bowl is not guaranteed. The Chiefs are not really blowing teams out that often and are finding themselves in close battles, just as they were this past weekend against the Saints. The Chiefs have now seen the OVER hit in 4 of their last 6 games. The Atlanta Falcons are sputtering towards the finish line and have now lost 3 in a row. They have not been great offensively of late, but I think they put enough points on the board to help take this one OVER.
