We’ve finally made it to the Conference Championship weekend. The four remaining teams in the field will square off for the right to represent their conference in the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in two weeks. Here are our last-second predictions for the two huge contests so you can make sure to place your bets against their NFL Playoffs odds.
NFL Betting | Last Second Predictions for Conference Championship Title Games
San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams
For the second time in three weeks, NFC West rivals San Francisco 49ers, and the Los Angeles Rams will clash in the NFC Championship game. The San Francisco 49ers have had their way with the Los Angeles Rams over the last three seasons, as the Niners own a 6-0 record against the Rams in that time. Kyle Shanahan has also been very good against Sean McVay as a head coach.
The Rams got here by defeating the Arizona Cardinals and then beating Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a last-second field goal. Matthew Stafford, who was acquired for games like this, has played well in the postseason. The return of Cam Akers has only added to the prominence of the Rams offense.
We also can’t forget about the Rams’ defense. With Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and Von Miller leading the way, the Rams will have a tough task stopping the powerful running game of the 49ers.
Speaking of the 49ers, they have run their way into the NFC Championship game. The Niners have beaten two very good teams with victories over the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. We’ll see if their running attack will give the Rams issues and whether or not their top-notch defense can stop the Rams.
The Rams are hosting this one in the stadium that will also host the Super Bowl. They are three-point favorites in this one. We think that the Rams have what it takes to make it to the Super Bowl. They win the game, but they won’t cover the spread.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs
After last weekend’s thrilling victory over the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs are once again back in the AFC Championship game. The Bengals are thrilled to be in this situation, as they hadn’t won a playoff game in 31 years before this postseason.
The Bengals beat the Raiders and then upset the top seed in the AFC, the Tennessee Titans. This will be the second time these two teams meet in just over a month, as the Bengals beat Kansas City 34-31 in Week 17 in Cincinnati.
These two teams have great offenses. Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback in the league, while Joe Burrow quickly becomes one of the league’s top signal-callers. They both have lots of offensive weapons at their disposal. Between Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and Ja’Marr Chase, we’ll see some of the league’s top pass catchers on display.
Neither of these teams are known for their defense. Kansas City has had some issues on that side of the ball this season. They struggled early, got better, and have now had more struggles. We’ll see if they can clean things up for Sunday’s big game.
The Chiefs come into this one as a seven-point favorite. We think that they’re just too much for the Bengals to handle. Kansas City wins 34-24.
