The Lions are also covering spreads, a sign the victories aren’t due to luck. Give Detroit the big edge to hand Minnesota their third loss of the season.

Philadelphia Eagles -330 vs New York Giants +250 | Sunday, Dec. 11

Lamar Jackson is out indefinitely with a knee injury, which means Baltimore must start Tyler Huntley. Not only that, but the Steelers have rolled to a pair of wins.

Ah, but Pittsburgh’s victories came against Indianapolis and Atlanta. In addition, Tyler Huntley is the best backup in the league. So Tyler will run the offense to perfection. Baltimore is a great play to win this straight up.

Carolina Panthers +162 vs Seattle Seahawks -202 | Sunday, Dec. 11

The Seahawks don’t go into this game playing great football. Yes, Seattle broke a losing streak, but the Hawks allowed the Rams to score 23 points in a 27-23 win.

The Rams’ offense is pretty good now that Sam Darnold has returned to the starting lineup. Darnold led the Panthers to 23 points in a 23-10 win over the Denver Broncos in Carolina’s win before their bye. The Panthers could surprise with a second straight victory.

Miami scores a lot of points, but the defense hasn’t played great. Also, we shouldn’t be too hard on the Chargers for losing to the Raiders last Sunday.

The Bolts faced a team that was on a 2-game winning streak and with a running back who has been destroying opponents. LAC has the chance to bounce back versus a Miami squad that relies too much on the pass. Backing the home dog SU makes sense.

New England Patriots -123 vs Arizona Cardinals +100 | Monday, Dec. 12

At first glance this game can go either way, especially because the Cardinals are at home, but then we realize that New England’s 2-game losing streak came against the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots should get back on track with a victory. Bill Belichick will have the perfect strategy to temper Kyler Murray’s dual-threat abilities. At -123, the odds are more than fair on New England to win this Monday night contest.
