Week 8 Rundown of the Best TNF, SNF, MNF Games to Wager On | NFL Betting Lines

Thursday Night Quarterback Battle

Many expected the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to run away with the NFC South. Even though they’re in 1st place, Tampa is sitting with a 3-4 record. They’ve lost their last two, and last Sunday’s loss was to the lowly Carolina Panthers.

Tom Brady’s personal life has come under a lot of scrutiny, and he and the Bucs’ offense are getting much of the blame for their poor start. Tampa now has to try and right the ship as they host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

Lamar Jackson didn’t get a contract extension this past off-season. He had a great start to the season, but the Ravens’ offense hasn’t gotten much done as of late. The Ravens, at 4-3, are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals atop the AFC North.

The Ravens’ defense has had some issues, so if Brady and the Bucs’ offense is going to make a move, this could be the game. This should be a fun one to watch, as many of this season’s Thursday Night games have been clunkers.

Sunday Night Battle of the Superstars

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have been a huge disappointment this season. The Packers are 3-4 and are coming off of a loss to the Washington Commanders. Green Bay hasn’t been able to get the offense going this season.

Many blame the lack of competent wide receivers, many blame the offensive schemes, and many blame Rodgers. A struggling Packer team now has to go to Buffalo on Sunday night to take on arguably the best team in football, the Buffalo Bills.

Josh Allen and the Bills‘ offense are firing on all cylinders. The Bills’ defense is also playing well.

Buffalo is the big favorite to win the Super Bowl this season, and they are going to be hard to beat. We’ll see if Rodgers can keep the Packers in the game or if Buffalo blows them out.

Monday Night AFC North Tilt

The Dawg Pound will welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to Cleveland on Monday night. Joe Burrow has been putting up some huge numbers as of late. With Joe Mixon, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, he has plenty of weapons at his disposal.

As for the Browns, other than Nick Chubb, the offense hasn’t gotten a lot done. The defense has looked good at times, but it’s obvious that this team was set up for Deshaun Watson. We’ll see if Cleveland can slow down the high-powered Bengals offense.

Can the Pats Get Out of the Basement?

One of the top early games on Sunday will feature the New York Jets heading to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots.

Believe it or not, the NY Jets are in second place in the AFC East, while the Patriots are in last place. At 5-2, the Jets have exceeded all expectations. Robert Saleh’s defense has been exceptional this season.

Bill Belichick pulled the returning Mac Jones for Bailey Zappe after just one quarter in New England’s embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

We’ll see who gets the start on Sunday. The Pats are in a bad place, and we’ll see if they can get out of it.

Who Would’ve Thought????

Who would’ve thought that the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks would be playing a meaningful game in late October? Well, the Giants are 6-1, and the Seahawks are leading the NFC West. The Giants head to Seattle to battle the Seahawks in the top 3:00 game on Sunday.

Brian Daboll has turned the Giants around, while Geno Smith has made everyone forget about Russell Wilson in Seattle. We’ll see which of these two teams comes out on top in this fun one.
