One player that looked destined to be on the move was Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers. There were several reports linking him with a move to the LA Lakers, with several other teams monitoring the situation. The Pacers wanted to keep him, though, and signed him to a 2-year contract extension this past weekend. The 2-year deal is worth $58 million and perhaps comes as a little bit of a surprise given that the Pacers have had no issues moving other players on, Turner is having an excellent season and the Pacers must have realized that replacing him would be tough.
