NBA Over/Under Betting Analysis & Picks for Week 23 Games

With the end of the regular season now very much on the horizon, every team still in the hunt for a playoff spot in the NBA knows that there is zero margin for error. Even those who have clinched a spot or are on the verge of doing so will be looking to ensure that they have the best seeding possible. With that in mind, many of the games on the Wednesday schedule have playoff implications, which is exactly how we like it. Instead of picking winners and losers, though, we are instead going to focus on the point total. Let’s see if we can put together some NBA O/U picks for Wednesday night so you can bet against the NBA Odds.

O/U Picks for this Week Matches | NBA Week 23 Betting

Sacramento Kings at Indiana Pacers – UNDER 236

Given that neither of these teams will be in the playoffs, it’s easy to simply ignore this game, but that would mean missing up a betting opportunity. Both of these teams are averaging around 110 PPG, and while you cannot simply add that together to get the UNDER, there are some trends that back up the pick. 6 of the last 10 meetings between these teams have fallen UNDER the point total, but there is more than just that. The Kings have seen the UNDER hit in 6 of their last 7 versus teams with a losing record, while the UNDER has hit in 4 of the last 5 games Indiana has played versus a team with a sub-.400 record.

Golden State Warriors at Miami Heat – OVER 214 ½

With Stephen Curry out of the lineup and the Warriors on the slide, you might imagine that scoring might be at a minimum in this one. In truth, though, I still believe that the point total in this game is very much on the low side, giving us all an opportunity to make a winning bet here. While their offense has dropped off in their current losing skid, it has not dropped that drastically. This is especially true when Golden State faces a team with a winning record, with 7 of their last 8 meetings against those teams going OVER the point total. It is much the same story with the Miami Heat, who are 4-0 O/U when going against teams with a winning record. I think we are going to get some offense in this one, and I like the OVER to come in quite easily.

Phoenix Suns at Minnesota Timberwolves – OVER 236

We have two teams in very good form going head-to-head on Wednesday night, with both of them winning 8 of their last 10. The Suns are a lock to get the #1 seed in the Western Conference, while the Timberwolves are trying to work their way into the top 6. This has all the makings of a very entertaining game, but how will the point total play out? This matchup has leaned more towards the under over the last 10, but there are some things that certainly point to this one bucking that trend. Let’s start with the Suns, who have seen 5 of their last 6 games overall go the way of the OVER. For Minnesota, the OVER has hit in 6 of the last 7 visits from a team with a record over .600 on the road.
