NBA Western Conference Championship Betting Update for the 2022 Playoffs

NBA Western Conference Championship Betting Update for the 2022 Playoffs

If you’re an NBA fan, it’s the best time of the year, as the playoffs are starting this week! In the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns were dominant throughout the whole season.

The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies were also very good and pose a threat to the Suns. We also can’t forget about Denver, Dallas, and Utah, who all have star players that could take over a series.

Let’s take a look at the odds to win the Western Conference and give a brief analysis of each team so you can bet against the NBA Conference Championship odds.

Updated Western Conference Championship Odds Heading Into Postseason

Phoenix Suns +110

The Suns had the best record in the NBA this season at 64-18. The Suns were the best road team in the league as well.

Led by Devin Booker and Chris Paul, the Suns know that they squandered a chance to win an NBA title last season. They desperately want to get back to the Finals, and they have the squad to get them there.

Golden State Warriors +425

The Warriors won five games in a row to end the season, and that was without Stephen Curry. While we’re still not sure when Steph Curry will be back, the Warriors still have one of the best teams in the league.

Even though they lack an attacking big man, the Warriors have some of the best shooters in the league. They’ve been in this spot before, and if they continue to play well, look out for the Warriors!

Memphis Grizzlies +600

Ja Morant is back, and the Grizzlies are poised to make a long playoff run. Even when Morant was out for over 20 games, the Grizzlies still played at a high level. Between Morant, Desmond Bane, and Dillon Brooks, this team can run with anyone.

They can put up points in bunches, and they have big men that can bang inside, protect the paint, and alter shots. This team is going to be dangerous.

Utah Jazz +1000

Even though there have been rumors about Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert not getting along, the Jazz are still one of the favorites to win the West. If Mitchell and Gobert are on the same page, the Jazz can be very tough to beat.

Teams have figured out a way to get Gobert out of the paint, and when they do, the Jazz defense tends to break down. We’ll see if the Jazz can find a way to keep their defense intact throughout the playoffs.

Dallas Mavericks +1000

Dallas may be in trouble, as Luka Doncic left their Sunday night game with a calf strain. If Doncic misses some time, the Mavs will be in trouble.

If he’s ready to go, he can carry this team. Once Dallas added Spencer Dinwiddie, they became much better.

Denver Nuggets +1200

Luka Doncic has the ability to change a series. Denver has still been a force in the West even without Jamal Murray all season. All of Denver’s normal starters average in double figures, and that five has a lot of experience.

We’ll see if they have enough to get out of the West, but if Jokic plays well, they’re a huge threat.
