NFL 2021 NFC Playoffs Portrait Betting Analysis

It’s hard to believe that we’re already through 11 weeks of the 2021-22 NFL season!

With only seven weeks to go, the races for playoff spots are really starting to heat up.

There has been a lot of parity in the league this season, and no team has really stood out above the others. In the NFC, it’s hard to decipher which team will make it through the playoffs and be Super Bowl bound!

With the new playoff format continuing this season, only the top seed will have a bye, so teams will be fighting for that spot up until the end of the season.

Let’s take a look at the most up-to-date NFC Playoff picture so you can continue planning your bets against the NFL NFC Divisional Odds.

Updated NFC Playoffs Picture

1. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are 9-2 and currently hold the top seed in the NFC. They’ve been winning games without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins, so when those two return, the Cardinals will be that much better. The Arizona defense has played well, and if they continue to play at this pace, they could be tough to beat in the playoffs.

2. Green Bay Packers

Coming off of a loss at Minnesota, the Packers are now 8-3. Any time that you have Aaron Rodgers under center, you have a great shot at winning the game. We’ll see if Green Bay has enough surrounding Rodgers to make it to SoFi Stadium in February.

3. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys’ offense struggled in their loss to the Chiefs, but they still have a stranglehold on the top spot in the NFC East. The Cowboys‘ defense has played well, but defensive coordinators are starting to find ways to confuse Dak Prescott.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A date with the Giants on Monday night is just what the Buccaneers need. They’ve lost two straight, and with both the Packers and Cowboys losing this week, Tampa could gain some ground. Tom Brady always seems to find a way to win, so Tampa is always going to be dangerous with him around.

5. Los Angeles Rams

The top wild-card spot is held by the Rams, who are 7-3 and a game behind the Cardinals in the West. Losing Robert Woods was a huge loss for the Rams. We’ll see if Odell Beckham Jr. is an adequate replacement or if he will be more trouble than he’s worth.

6. Minnesota Vikings

By beating the Packers on Sunday, the Vikings moved up in the playoff race. Their offense is dangerous and can give people fits in the playoffs. If they can get a few big stops, the Vikings could be a dangerous team in January.

7. New Orleans Saints

The Saints currently hold the final playoff spot. They’ve been very inconsistent, but they’ve been plagued by injuries. New Orleans has a very good defense, so if they do get in, watch out.

On the Outside Looking In

The San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles have been two of the hotter teams in the NFL as of late. If they continue to play well, they could overtake some of the teams ahead of them. San Francisco has really looked good, as the running game is taking off, and the defense is playing well.
