It is always fun to look ahead to the NFL schedule and try to pick out the games that we should be watching and wagering on. That said, we also need to remember that the teams who start as favorites may nor deliver the goods and could be in serious trouble by Week 10 of the season. There are also going to be a couple of teams that come out of nowhere to mount a serious playoff challenge. From this stage of the season to the finish is when we find out if those teams are for real. While the games we choose here look to be the best on paper, it will be the odds that decide which ones look like the best bets with the most value. Still, let’s take a look at the standout games in Week 10 so you can wager on their NFL odds.
2020 NFL Betting Preview for Games in Week 10
Seattle Seahawks at LA Rams
There is very much a belief that the NFC West is going to be one of the toughest divisions in football next season. We expect the Seahawks and the 49ers to be very good, but we might also see the Rams and the Cardinals improve. The Rams finished last season at 9-7, but that was not enough to get them to the postseason. The Seahawks were in the playoffs last year, but injuries derailed them somewhat. These divisional games are going to be huge for all the teams in the West, which makes this game a must watch.
San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints
If you take a look at the odds to win the NFC this season, you see both of these teams up among the favorites. There was talk about Drew Brees retiring this season, but he is back for another run with a New Orleans Saints team that is loaded from top to bottom. In San Francisco, Jimmy Garoppolo will feel that he has something to prove after shouldering much of the blame for the 49ers Super Bowl loss last season. Can these QB’s continue to deliver the goods and put their teams in the hunt for the big prize?
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
One of the first things that we all look at when the new schedule is released are the primetime games. There are always a few duds in there, but this Sunday night game in Week 10 looks like a beauty. The Baltimore Ravens ended last season with the best record in football, but they also fell at the first hurdle in the playoffs, for the second straight year. The Patriots are looking at life without Tom Brady, and while the hype surrounding Cam Newton in training camp has been very good, can he slip into the shoes of the GOAT and lead this team to success?
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
The NFC North is another division that looks as though it might be too close to call. We can almost certainly rule out the Detroit Lions from winning it, but it seems to be a coin toss between the other three. The Packers, who won it last season, are in as the favorites, but you can bet that the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears will have something to say about that. If the Bears can get their QB situation right, this division might be a fun one to watch.
