As the weekend rolls in, Flaherty will be in line for a start again likely on Sunday. He will take on the Houston Astros in that game. It will be interesting to see if Flaherty can keep his strikeout pitch in line as he maneuvers through the week.

You cannot deny how good Scherzer has been in his time in the MLB, but this is a player struggling to stay healthy this season, which is having a negative impact on his performance. This is more of a wait and see as opposed to a total avoid scenario.
