The NFL Conference Championship is finally here, and there are just four remaining teams fighting for their chance to reach the Super Bowl. The Philadelphia Eagles, who destroyed the Giants on Saturday, will play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game after they defeated the Cowboys on Sunday night. And after defeating the Bills on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals will play the Kansas City Chiefs, who took down the Jaguars, in the AFC Championship Game.
Let’s take a peek at the thrilling conference championship schedule and prepare you for next week’s slate. We’ll take a closer look at each team and identify the sure losers for the Conference Championship matchups along with their NFL Playoffs Odds.

NFL Championship Round odds are now out on Mybookie, and there could be significant line movement as the week rolls on. Currently, the Eagles are the home spread favorites (-2.5) against the 49ers, while the Chiefs and Bengals are a toss-up at -110 each.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs
Despite a potential injury to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in their Divisional Round game on Saturday. Mahomes departed the game with what turned out to be a high ankle sprain after his right ankle was wrenched sideways between two Jaguars players midway through the first quarter.
That’s bad news for this Chief’s team that has lost their last three matchups against the Bengals, including last year’s AFC Championship game. Although the Chiefs have dominated the AFC, they haven’t been able to figure out Cincinnati. To make matters worse, the Bengals have been surging, winning their last 10 matchups, including a dominating victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Cincinnati wreaked havoc on Josh Allen, and the Bills offensive attack, and they should give Patrick Mahomes fits. Additionally, Kansas City’s defense has been their biggest weakness, and Zac Taylor’s offense will surely exploit the Chiefs’ weakened secondary. The Chiefs have way too many things working against them in this one, and that’s why they will lose their AFC Championship matchup.
San Francisco 49ers vs Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5)
The Eagles and 49ers, who have both dominated the NFC for the bulk of the season, will now square off with a Super Bowl berth on the line. San Francisco has rattled off 12 straight wins, while the Eagles boast arguably the league’s best combination of both offense and defense.
Despite this, the 49ers are bound to lose when they head to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. When playing against the Cowboys’ defense, the 49ers’ running game struggled, and Brock Purdy had his worst game as San Francisco’s starting quarterback. Because of their aggressive pass rush and close coverage behind their active linebackers, the Eagles’ defense can cause some of the same issues.
The Eagles earned a much-needed Bye week to recover from injury, and they took full advantage and dominated the New York Giants in the opening round. This game should look much the same when they take on the 49ers. Their offense boasts a strong rushing attack and is 14-1 this season with Jalen Hurts under center, while their defense led the league with 75 sacks.
Last week, when Brock Purdy finally saw a strong defense in the Cowboys, he turned in his worst game of the year, passing for zero touchdowns, and he must now face a defense that is much better and has one of the best pass rushes in the NFL. The Eagles will be too much for the 49ers in this one, and that’s why San Francisco will walk away losers on Sunday.
