Top MLB Matches to Bet On: White Sox v Angels, A’s v Yankees, Astros v NYY

It’s going to be another busy week in the world of Major League Baseball. We’ve got some great pitching matchups, and some other games where we think there are some mismatches. Let’s take a look at some of the top games of the week to bet on the MLB Lines

Must Bet MLB Games this Week | June 27th Edition

White Sox vs Angels | What Could Have Been……

Just a couple of years ago, this game would have been looked at as a pitching matchup of two of the top young arms in Major League Baseball. Noah Syndergaard was at the top of his game for the New York Mets, and Lucas Giolito was having a breakthrough season. We’ll see how they fare against each other on Monday night.

Fast forward a couple of years, and things look a little different. Syndergaard is now an Angel after undergoing arm surgery. He has yet to find his groove for the Angels, as he has a 4-6 record with a 3.86 ERA and only 40 strikeouts on the season. We’ll see if he ever fully recovers from the arm issues.

Giolito has also struggled this season. He has a 4-4 record with a 5.40 ERA. At times he can still be dominant, but it’s safe to say that Giolito has been a disappointment for the White Sox this season.

Neither of these teams have lived up to expectations this season. We’ll see which of the two is better on Monday night. We’re going to lean on Giolito in this one.

Yankees versus A’s | The Best against the Worst

The worst team in baseball will face off against the best team in baseball this week, as the Oakland Athletics will travel to the Bronx to face the Yankees. The Yankees currently have the best record in the game, while the Athletics own the worst record in baseball. After trading a lot of assets away in the offseason, Oakland has pieced together a ballclub for the 2022 season.

While the Yankee bats have been a little cold, coming off of a tough weekend series with the Astros, they’ll still be hard for the Oakland staff to handle. The Yankees will have three very winnable games this week, with the toughest one being on Monday night. Paul Blackburn will take the mound for Oakland, and he has far and away been their best pitcher this season. Even with that being said, we still like the Yankees and their starter, Jordan Montgomery, in this one.

On Tuesday night, Frankie Montas and his 3-7 record will face off against Jameson Taillon, who is 8-1 on the season. Wednesday night, we’ll see Cole Irvin take the hill for Oakland, as he will be opposed by Luis Severino.

We like the Yankees to win all three of these games. They have the stronger starting pitching, and we think that their bats will wake up from their weekend slumber.

Yankees at Houston | What A Pitching Matchup

On Thursday night, we’ll see one of the top pitching matchups of the year, as two former teammates collide. The Yankees will travel to Houston to make up their April 4th date. We should see Justin Verlander take on Gerrit Cole. These two former Astros’ teammates are two of the top pitchers in the league this season. Verlander has been tremendous after coming back from arm surgery. Cole has been his usual self this season, but has had a bad outing or two. We probably won’t see a lot of runs in this one, so keep that in mind.
