NBA Betting: ATS Picks for Week 22 of the 2023 Season

The NBA is back in action this week, and there will be plenty of betting opportunities as teams are looking to finish out the season strong. With the NBA season winding down, teams are battling for playoff spots and fighting for the top overall seeds.

Here, we highlight the three best NBA ATS betting opportunities for the week to come.

2023 NBA ATS Picks for Week 22

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Brooklyn Nets

Odds: Cleveland -2 | Cleveland -135, Brooklyn +115 | O/U 220.5
When: Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio
TV / Streaming: NBA TV

On March 21st, the Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets for an Eastern Conference matchup and potential future playoff sneak peak.

The Cavaliers are looking to move up the Eastern Conference standings as they currently hold the fourth spot. The Cavaliers are one of the most well-rounded teams in the NBA, as they have solid numbers on offense and defense. Donavan Mitchell has been the missing piece for this squad, while Jarrett Allen has been a double-double machine.

The Brooklyn Nets are still trying to navigate their new-look roster, and while they have some new studs in Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson, the Nets have struggled. Brooklyn has lost three straight contests and have failed to cover the spread in each of those.

Cleveland has been on a roll, winning six of their last eight. While they have struggled on the road, the Cavs have won three of their last four away from home. Look for Cleveland to take advantage of a struggling Brooklyn squad and cover the spread.

Denver Nuggets vs. Washington Wizards

Odds: Denver -3.5 | Denver -160, Washington +140 | O/U 215.5
When: Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C.
TV / Streaming: NBA TV

The Denver Nuggets hit the road as they take on the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena on March 22nd. The Denver Nuggets own the top spot in the West, while the Wizards are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Wizards are battling for a play-in spot and have dealt with a plethora of injuries down the stretch. As a result, the Wizards have lost five of their last six contests, including failing to cover the spread in seven of their last nine.

On the flip side, while the Nuggets have completely dominated the entire NBA in the first half, Denver has struggled recently, losing five of their last seven. Nikola Jokic continues to be a triple-double machine, and the Nuggets are in a great spot to bounce back here.

Despite failing to cover the spread in six of their last eight games, they come into this contest on three days’ rest, while Washington will be on a back-to-back. Expect the Nuggets to come back on top and cover the spread and gain momentum heading into the final stretch of the NBA regular season.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors

Odds: Golden State -2 | Minnesota +110, Golden State -130 | O/U 237
When: Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: Chase Center, San Francisco, California
TV / Streaming: NBA TV

The Golden State Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves for a Sunday matchup on March 25th. The Warriors are barely hanging on to the seventh spot in the Western Conference playoff picture, while the Timberwolves are looking to gain ground in the ninth spot in the West.

Minnesota enters the week playing some poor basketball, as they have recently lost five of their last six games. After failing to cover four of their last six contests ATS the Timberwolves are trying to find a winning formula without Karl Anthony-Towns.

By the same token, the Warriors have been nothing short of terrible on the road, and they are in serious danger of missing the playoffs after losing 11 straight away from home. The good news is, the Warriors will return to the friendly confines of the Chase Center and will be in a great position to take out Minnesota and cover the spread.

The Warriors have won eight straight at home and have covered the spread in each of those contests. Expect more of the same when they host Minnesota to finish off the week.
