NBA Championship Lines, Betting Favorites, Picks Heading Into Week 16

As we have eclipsed the halfway mark of the NBA regular season, it’s time to take a look at the updated odds to win the NBA championship. With most of the league’s stars staying healthy, this should be a fun postseason to watch. Let’s take a look at the teams with the best NBA Championship Odds to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy at the end of the NBA postseason.

Who Has the Best Odds to Win the NBA Title?

Boston Celtics +400

The Celtics currently have the best record in the league at 35-12, and are sitting comfortably atop the Eastern Conference standings. They have a 4.5 game lead over the Philadelphia 76ers. With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the way, the Celtics have arguably the best scoring duo in the league. The veteran presence of Al Horford has also been a significant asset for the Celtics. They have great depth and are very good on the defensive end.

Milwaukee Bucks +550

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a force this season. He’s tough for anyone to guard, and his improved perimeter shooting has made him an even greater presence. With a supporting cast of Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez, the Bucks have a very strong team. They could use more depth, but if they address a couple of needs at the trade deadline, this team will be hard to beat in the postseason.

Brooklyn Nets +800

Now that Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons are back, the Nets look like a team that can make a long run. Kevin Durant has been injured, so that has set them back some, but this team should be a force when he comes back. Prior to Durant getting hurt, the Nets had overtaken the top spot in the East. How far the Nets can go will depend on the play of Simmons. He has been very inconsistent this season. If he plays well, this team can be dominant.

Denver Nuggets +800

With Nikola Jokic on his way to another MVP award, the Nuggets look like the team to beat out West. With a healthy Jamal Murray and Michael Porter, Jr., the Nuggets have a team built to win. Aaron Gordon has had a great season, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been a great addition to the Nuggets. Until teams figure out a way to control Jokic, this team will be a force to be reckoned with.

Golden State Warriors +900

Any time you have Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole, you have a shot at winning a title. If they can stay healthy, they can make a run. The Warriors haven’t played as well as expected this season. They also struggle to win games on the road, which could be an issue come postseason time.

Memphis Grizzlies +1000

Ja Morant has elevated his game to a new level. Now that he has his full supporting cast surrounding him, the Grizzlies are becoming one of the powerhouses of the league. Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks, and Jaren Jackson, Jr. are good scorers, and Steven Adams is the anchor in the middle. The Grizzlies are just behind the Nuggets in the Western Conference standings. They are dominant at home, so that will be a huge advantage in the playoffs.
