Must Bet NBA Week 25 Matches for the Weekend: Top Sunday Games

In looking at Sunday’s slate of NBA games, we could see a lot of meaningless games being played, or we could see some games that could have huge playoff positioning implications.

Whether or not Sunday’s games are meaningful rests on the outcomes of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday’s contests.

In looking at Sunday’s schedule, we’ve found some games that have caught our betting eye. These games could have a lot riding on the results, or we could see each of the two team’s second-stringers playing out the rest of the regular season. Let’s take a look at some of the games we think you should consider betting on Sunday against the NBA Odds.

Top NBA Games to Bet On the Final Week of the 2021-22 Regular Season

Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

At the time of this writing, the Milwaukee Bucks are still in contention for the top spot in the Eastern Conference playoff standings. They have a date with the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, and the winner of that game will have a huge advantage over the loser.

Boston is currently a half-game ahead of Milwaukee and Philadelphia in the East. Miami, the conference leader, is just 2.5 games ahead of Milwaukee.

Cleveland is currently sitting in 7th place in the East. If the season ended today, they would host the Brooklyn Nets in the play-in tournament. Cleveland would be in much better shape if they were able to stay in the 7th spot.

They would much rather host the Nets than have to go to Brooklyn. This game could be huge in determining where Cleveland falls. It’s also a possibility that Cleveland could catch the Chicago Bulls for 6th.

If both of these teams are playing for something, we like the Bucks to win this one. If that’s the case, as long as the Bucks aren’t favored by too large of a spread, they’d be our pick.

Boston Celtics @ Memphis Grizzlies

As we’ve already explained, the Celtics are still in contention for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. If they don’t get the top spot, they could finish as far down as fourth. We’re going to say that this game will mean a lot for the Celtics’ playoff positioning.

Memphis is one of the top teams in the league, but they’ve already wrapped up the second seed in the Western Conference playoffs. This game will mean nothing for them, so we’re assuming that the top-of-the-rotation players won’t be seeing much, if any, action.

So, we’re thinking that the Celtics will need to win this game to stay in contention for a better seed. With the Bucks game ending before theirs, and the Sixers playing at the same time, Boston will probably have to play their starters in this one.

If the Celtics are playing for something, they’ll be favored, and probably by a fair amount of points. Boston is the top defensive team in the league right now, and with the way that Jalen Brown and Jayson Tatum have been playing, we like them to cover a good-sized spread.

Memphis has shown that their second string is no slouch, but we still like the Celtics to cover in this one.
