Friday, December 15, 7:30 PM | One of the most burning questions we have at this stage of the season is about which team will finally beat the Boston Celtics in their own building. Heading into Friday night, the Celtics are a perfect 12-0 in the Garden, which has helped them get to 18-5 overall and the lead in the Eastern Conference. With the Orlando Magic heading into Beantown on Friday night, might we actually see that perfect streak broken? Orlando is on a hot run at the moment, winning 8 of their last 10 games to move all the way up to the #3 spot in the East. They are, though, just 5-5 in road games, so I am not totally sold on their chances of winning this one. This is the first of 2 meetings for these teams this weekend.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Denver Nuggets

Saturday, December 16, 9:00 PM | There are several good matchups coming our way on Saturday, but this one is arguably the standout game of the bunch. The Thunder are sitting at 15-8 overall, which is good enough for the #3 spot in the Western Conference. They are, though, coming off a loss and looking to bounce back with a win that would leapfrog them over the Nuggets, who sit a half game ahead of the Thunder. OKC has been good on the road, going 7-4, but they are facing a Nuggets team that has dominated in their own building, going 10-1 through their first 11 home games. This is huge for both teams as they try and keep pace with the Timberwolves at the top of the West standings.

Houston Rockets at Milwaukee Bucks

Sunday, December 17, 7:00 PM | There are not a lot of great games to choose from on the Sunday schedule, with the Orlando/Boston game the one that jumps out. Since we already covered their Friday matchup, we are switching gears a little and going with this one. The Rockets are sitting down in the play-in zone in the Western Conference, but they are a team on the move, winning 4 in a row and 6 of their last 10 games. They have, though, been a bit of a nightmare on the road, going just 1-8 away from home. The Bucks are also playing some great ball of late and are #2 in the East, a game and a half back of the Celtics. They have been tough to beat at home, going 12-2 thus far.
