We’ve taken a look at this week’s slate of games in the NBA, and we’ve found a few games that have caught our betting attention. We’ll give you a brief breakdown of each game, and then we’ll give you our best betting advice. Here are the games that we like for the upcoming week of NBA Betting action.
Charlotte Hornets @ Milwaukee Bucks – Tuesday Night
The Charlotte Hornets have been struggling this season, but if the last two games are any indication of what’s to come in the next few weeks, then they should be excited. The Hornets have won their last two games against the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat. Albeit they were home games, it’s still a big improvement for the Hornets. They’ll now head to Milwaukee to face one of the top teams in the league in the Milwaukee Bucks.Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off of a big 50-point performance his last time out, and the Bucks have been playing some good basketball. The winners of four straight, the Bucks are trying their best to keep pace with the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics. A loss to the Hornets is a loss that they can’t afford to have at this time of the season.
Even though the Hornets look like they’re ready to turn the corner, we just don’t see them being able to keep pace with the Bucks. The Bucks have one of the best home records in the league, as they come into this one with a 20-5 record at home, while the Hornets are 8-20 on the road this season.
As long as the spread isn’t too high, we’d take the Bucks in this one.
Brooklyn Nets @ Boston Celtics – Wednesday Night
This one could be interesting. First off, it’s always a crazy night when Kyrie Irving returns to Boston. The fans will never let him forget about the comments he made about the city, and how he turned his back on Boston. Kevin Durant won’t play, and Ben Simmons has missed some time recently as well with back issues.
As for the Celtics, they’re fighting to hold onto the top spot in the Eastern Conference Playoff standings. With Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum playing well, the Celtics are going to be a hard team for the Nets to stop, especially if Simmons doesn’t play. Simmons has always given Tatum a tough game defensively, so the Nets could really use him in this one.
Boston will be favored, and rightfully so. We like them to win this one fairly easily.
Golden State Warrior @ Denver Nuggets – Thursday Night
The Denver Nuggets currently sit atop the Western Conference standings. With Nikola Jokic, Michale Porter, Jr., and Jamal Murray all playing well, this team looks like a championship contender. They’ll be hosting the defending champs on Thursday night, as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors roll into town.
The Nuggets have one of the best home records in the league at 22-4, while the Warriors are abysmal on the road with a 6-18 mark. We like the Nuggets in this one. It will be close, but Denver wins at home.
