What is Las Vegas’ Straight Up Prediction this Season?

Quarterback wasn’t one of the Raiders’ biggest questions heading into the season. The two biggest was if the Raiders could improve the right side of their offensive line and if Vegas could improve their defense.

In the draft, Vegas improved their defense. The Raiders chose Texas Tech defensive end Tyree Wilson in the first round. Wilson immediately moves into a rotation that includes Chandler Jones at right defensive end.

Maxx Crosby is on the left side. So there’s no issues at the DE position. The Raiders also signed former Eagle strong safety Marcus Epps.

Epps is a terrific safety, one of the best in the league. He’ll help defend against the run and guard tight-ends like Kansas City’s Travis Kelce.

Signing Garoppolo may not make much sense instead of throwing dollars at the right side of the offensive line, but if Jimmy G. stays healthy, his signing will help the right side of the line improve.

While at New England, Josh McDaniels helped Jimmy develop his game. Garoppolo knows McDaniels’ system well. So if Jimmy G. stays healthy, the Raiders’ offense should improve big time.

Ah, but even with improvement on both sides of the ball, making the playoffs will be tough. The Raiders should lose at least 6 of their 8 road games versus: Denver, Buffalo, the Chargers, Detroit, Miami, and Kansas City.

Vegas should lose home games against the New York Giants, the New York Jets, and the Kansas City Chiefs. So even with improvements, the Raiders win just 2 more games from last season. At the end of the regular season, the Las Vegas Raiders straight up schedule will be 8-9.

What will Las Vegas’ Against the Spread Record Be this Season?

The Raiders should improve against the spread by at least 2 games. Las Vegas went 8-9 ATS last season.

Vegas should go 10-7 against the spread this season. The reason is because the Raiders will be in closer games due to their improved defense and offense. So although Vegas may not win a lot of those close games SU, they will win those games against the spread.

What will Be the Over Under Total Record for Las Vegas Raiders’ Games in 2023?

The over under record could change by a couple of games as well. Jimmy G. knows McDaniels’ offensive system. So Jimmy is going to lead the Raiders to a higher per game average.

We should expect the over to produce 2 more wins from last season to this season. The Raiders over-to-under total record at the end of the season will be 10-7.
