Houston Texans at Kanas City Chiefs
AFC Divisional Playoffs: Texans (10-7) at Chiefs (15-2)
Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 4:30 PM EST ESPN/ABC/ESPN+ | GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
ATS Odds: Kansas City -8.5
ML Odds: Houston +350 / Kansas City -460
Total Odds: 41.5
The Houston Texans head to Kansas City looking to take down the Chiefs.
The Texans played a marvelous game against the L.A. Chargers to knock Jim Harbaugh’s team from the playoffs.
But although Houston looked good, the blame for most of the loss falls on the Bolts.
Herbert, who had thrown just three picks the entire season, tossed four.
Not only that but the Chargers for some unknown reason couldn’t cover Nico Collins even though he’s C.J. Stroud’s lone wide receiving threat.
Joe Mixon also had a big game rushing the football, which means the Bolts imploded in every phase of the game.
The Chiefs aren’t the Chargers.
So we shouldn’t expect KC to come close to allowing Houston to stay in this game.
First, Patrick Mahomes has his full arsenal of receiving weapons.
Even Isaiah Pacheco, one of the top pass catching running backs in the league, is healthy.
Travis Kelce excels in playoff games.
Hollywood Brown is one hundred percent and DeAndre Hopkins remains one of the most difficult players to matchup with one on one.
The most important thing for Patrick is that the offensive line is at full strength.
Mahomes is going to have a fantastic game.
Second, Steve Spagnuolo knows how shutdown an offense’s best weapon.
Stroud is going to struggle to find passing lanes to Collins.
This has the makings of a Chiefs’ blowout victory.
Expect something like a 28-6 or 30-10 KC win.
NFL Divisional Round ATS Pick: Kansas City -8.5
NFL Divisional Round Over/Under Pick: Under 41.5
Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions
NFC Divisional Playoffs: Commanders (12-5) at Lions (15-2)
Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 8:00 PM EST FOX | Ford Field, Detroit, MI
ATS Odds: Detroit -9.5
ML Odds: Washington +400 / Detroit -520
Total Odds: 55.5
Washington heads to Detroit hoping to pull off another upset win.
The Commanders landed in Tampa Bay and beat the Buccaneers as a +3.5 underdog.
The bar for an upset is much higher versus the Lions, the top seed in the NFC.
Detroit is one of the best teams in the NFL.
The defense still has some problems, though.
Injuries hit the Lions’ D hard but in the final game of the season, Detroit managed to shut down Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.
Daniels is a good quarterback but he’s still a rookie.
So although Detroit doesn’t have a fully healthy secondary, the front seven, led by former Iowa standout linebacker Jack Campbell, is plenty good enough to pressure Daniels and force him into difficult throws.
The Lions are terrific at shutting down the run.
So expect the Commanders to counter with some plays designed to get the ball to former Chargers running back Austin Ekeler.
If that doesn’t work, the Commanders will be done.
Washington will score in this.
But it won’t be enough to either catch the Lions against the spread or for this game to go over.
Jared Goff will have his way with a Commanders’ defense that doesn’t always show up.
Jahmyr Gibbs should have a massive fantasy day if you’re putting together a team this weekend.
Expect the Lions to score over 30.
The Commanders will score less than 20.
So the game goes under by a few points while Detroit covers.
NFL Divisional Round ATS Pick: Detroit -9.5
NFL Divisional Round Over/Under Pick: Under 55.5
LA Rams at Philadelphia Eagles
NFC Divisional Playoffs: Rams (10-7) at Eagles (14-3)
Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST NBC/Peacock | Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
ATS Odds: Philadelphia -6.5
ML Odds: LAR +235 / Philadelphia -290
Total Odds: 44.5
Jalen Hurts returned to the Philadelphia Eagles and showed why he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
In a game where he didn’t produce big stats, Hurts led his team to a convincing 22-10 win and cover over Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.
Not all is copasetic in Philly, though.
A.J. Brown continues to show he’s not a great team player because he doesn’t get as many throws as he expects.
The rest of the offense, Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert, and DeVonta Smith are doing their jobs.
Hurts won’t let Brown influence his game.
So Jalen will do well in this.
But the Eagles go up against a surging Rams side.
Matthew Stafford is providing his best Troy Aikman impersonation.
Staff hasn’t put up massive stats but he’s doing enough for the Rams to win by convincing margins.
The Rams’ D has become a lockdown unit and Staff and head coach Sean McVay have changed the offense’s strategy because of the D.
The Rams are a slow moving wrecking ball that takes their time with every possession.
This is going to frustrate the Eagles.
If Hurts and the Eagles don’t solve the Rams’ defense, and only the Seattle Seahawks in a meaningless Week 18 game has has scored more than 9 in the Rams’ last eight contests, LAR will win this straight up.
In fact, betting on the Rams to upset another NFC foe, the Vikings were the chalk versus LAR in last week’s wild card game, is the way to go.
The Rams are playing the way Super Bowl winning teams play, great defense, a patient run game, and the ability to make huge plays on offense if required.
Rams win straight up in another under game.
NFL Divisional Round ML Pick: L.A. Rams +235
NFL Divisional Round Over/Under Pick: Under 44.5
Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills
NFC Divisional Playoffs: Rams (10-7) at Eagles (14-3)
Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at 6:00 PM EST CBS/Paramount+ | Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, New York
ATS Odds: Baltimore -1.5
ML Odds: Buffalo +100 / Baltimore -118
Total Odds: 51.5
No doubt, the NFL Divisional Round matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills has the chance of breaking viewership totals.
CBS and Paramount+ must be giddy about the fact that the two best quarterbacks this season will go head-to-head in their game.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have the edge over Josh Allen and the Bills.
The reason is because Lamar can lean on Derrick Henry, a hall of fame running back.
James Cook is good but Cook can’t take over this game.
Henry can. Allen must do everything by himself in this for the Bills to win.
The public and pros are thinking this way because the line opened Buffalo -1.5 and has since switched to Ravens -1.5.
Lamar and Derrick are doing what Stafford, Puka Nucua, Kyren Williams, and Cooper Kupp have done, slowed down the offense to lean on a surging defense.
The Ravens D has improved big time.
So we should be looking at another under game that goes to Lamar and his mates.
Baltimore heads to the AFC Championship to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
NFL Divisional Round ATS Pick: Baltimore -1.5
NFL Divisional Round Over/Under Pick: Under 51.5

What are the NFL Divisional Round Games?
The NFL Divisional Round is part of the NFL playoffs, and it follows the Wild Card Round. This round features the eight remaining teams, with the winners of the Wild Card games facing the top four seeded teams in each conference (AFC and NFC).
Here’s a breakdown of the Divisional Round with examples of current games:
- Date & Format:
The Divisional Round takes place on the second weekend of January. It typically features four games—two in each conference. The games are split between Saturday and Sunday. - Matchups:
- The top seeds from each conference (AFC and NFC) receive a bye in the first round and thus, automatically advance to the Divisional Round.
- The Wild Card winners then play against the higher-seeded teams, and the matchups are determined based on seeding.
For example, in the 2025 Divisional Round, the following matchups are taking place:
- Kansas City Chiefs (AFC No. 1 seed) vs. Houston Texans (Wild Card winner) – Saturday afternoon.
- Detroit Lions (NFC No. 1 seed) vs. Washington Commanders (Wild Card winner) – Saturday afternoon.
- Philadelphia Eagles (NFC No. 2 seed) vs. Los Angeles Rams (Wild Card winner) – Sunday afternoon.
- Buffalo Bills (AFC No. 2 seed) vs. Baltimore Ravens (Wild Card winner) – Sunday night.
- Importance:
Winning in the Divisional Round means advancing to the Conference Championship, which is one step closer to the Super Bowl. For instance, the Bills vs. Ravens matchup on Sunday night is a critical game for both teams, as they fight to continue their playoff runs.
In summary, the NFL Divisional Round is crucial for teams looking to keep their Super Bowl hopes alive, and it sets the stage for the Conference Championship games.
The matchups, like the Ravens vs. Bills and Eagles vs. Rams, are highly competitive as teams fight to stay in contention for the championship.

Ravens at -8.5 the Only Favored Lock to Cover Versus Texans
NFL Odds: Ravens -9.5 / Texans +325 / Ravens -450 / O/U 45
Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 4:30 pm | ESPN, ABC. ESPN+
M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
At first glance, it looks like Houston has a big chance of at least covering the spread. The Texans blasted the favored Cleveland Browns 45-15 in the wild card matchup.
But Houston benefited from Joe Flacco throwing 2 pick sixes. Lamar Jackson doesn’t make those type of mistakes. Lamar is going to have a great game in this, and Baltimore’s D is playing lights out. Ravens cover.

San Francisco is a Bad Favorite at -9.5 Against the Packers
NFL Odds: 49ers -10 / Packers +375 / 49ers -500 / O/U 49.5
Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 8:15 pm | FOX
Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
9.5 is a lot to cover against a team that laid 42 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL 7 days prior. The Packers stunned the Cowboys in an ultra-impressive 48-32 win.
Green Bay’s D stepped it up, running back a Dak Prescott interception for a TD and holding Tony Pollard to 56 rushing yards from 15 carries. Jordan Love and Aaron Jones are moving the football at will, and Arik Armstead and Dre Greenlaw list as questionable. Packers keep any defeat closer than the spread.

Lions the Top Vulnerable Favorite at -6 Versus Baker and the Buccaneers
NFL Odds: Lions -6 / Buccaneers +210 / Lions -260 / O/U 48.5
Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at 3:00 pm | NBC
Ford Field, Detroit, MI
Towards the end of the regular season, the Philadelphia Eagles fell apart. Philly entered the playoffs losers of 5-of-6. So it makes sense that Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers knocked Philadelphia out.
Baker and the Bucs, though, didn’t just beat the Eagles. They smashed Philadelphia 32-9. Detroit held on against the Rams in an emotional win. It’s going to be tough for the Lions to get up for this game the way they did the wild card versus L.A, which will be an issue because all Mayfield does is win football games. Buccaneers cover.
Divisional Round ATS Pick: Buccaneers +6 | NFL Lines for the Game
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game
Bills -2.5 Versus Kansas City is a Tough Bet to Make
NFL Odds: Bills -2.5 / Bills -145 / Cheifs +125 / O/U 46
Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at 6:30 pm | CBS
Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
Bills versus Chiefs has become a modern day classic. In the regular season contest, Kadarius Toney lined up offsides, which negated a Travis Kelce lateral to Toney that resulted in a KC TD.
The Bills are the slight favorite in the rematch because this happens at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. Buffalo looked good beating Pittsburgh, but up until the fourth quarter, the Steelers, even with Mason Rudolph piloting the offense, were down by 7 points.
Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, and the rest of the Chiefs want this one. Kansas City has gotten the offense together while the defense has played great all season. Mahomes and the Chiefs win this straight up.

Who Should We Bet On In the 2023 Divisional Round? | NFL Playoffs Odds
Now that we’re almost through the Wild Card Round of the 2023 NFL Playoffs, it’s time to take a look ahead. The oddsmakers have spoken, and we now have the spreads for a majority of next week’s games. With Dallas and Tampa facing off on Monday night, we won’t have all of the NFC matchups, but the AFC’s slate of games has been decided.
After that wild weekend, what can bettors expect from the favorites in the teams favored to win in the Divisional Round this weekend? Read on as we take a look at this week’s favorites and what our handicappers expect of them in the NFL odds.
We’ll now give you our best betting advice on next weekend’s Divisional Round matchups so you don’t miss your chance to bet on their NFL Playoffs Odds.
New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5)
Daniel Jones was amazing in his first career playoff game. Jones threw for 301 yards with two touchdown passes, and rushed for 78 more yards in New York’s 31-24 upset victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings were the #3 seed, while the Giants were the six seed. The biggest accomplishment in this game for the Giants was the feat of holding the top receiver in the NFL, Justin Jefferson, to just 47 yards on seven catches.
The surprising Giants will now have to face their divisional rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. We’ll see if the Giants defense will show up as big in this one. We like the Eagles to win the game, but we don’t think they cover the 8.5 points. The Giants will try to grind the clock out with Saquon Barkley, and will make things difficult for the Eagles.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills (-3.5)
These two were in the process of playing during Week 17 when Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest. The game was postponed and never resumed. These two teams will now meet up again in Buffalo in the divisional round. Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are two of the top five quarterbacks in the game, and this should be a great matchup with a lot of points scored.
The Bengals are the NFL’s hottest team, as they’ve won 10 straight games. The Bengals ended the regular season 12-4 against the spread, so they have a pretty good chance of covering. This is going to be a close one, so we are going to take the Bengals.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Kansas City Chiefs (-8.5)
Don’t look now, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have won six straight games, and are now heading to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. The Jaguars overcame a huge deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers. Trevor Lawrence overcame four first-half interceptions and had a great second half to lead the Jaguars to the miraculous victory.
Unfortunately for Jacksonville, they have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and the Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best passing offenses in the NFL. Mahomes threw for over 5,200 yards, along with 41 touchdowns on the season.
Kansas City was 6-11 against the spread in the regular season. Jacksonville has gone 7-3. The Jaguars are the feel-good story of the playoffs, but we have a feeling that it will all end this weekend in Kansas City. The Chiefs passing offense is going to give Jacksonville fits. Trevor Lawrence will keep them in the game, but he won’t be able to do enough. Kansas City wins by 10 to cover the spread and move on to the AFC Championship game.

Last Second Betting Predictions for 2022 Divisional Round Games
We started the season off with 32 teams, and now the field has been whittled down to eight. We’ve made it to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, and there will be some great matchups this weekend. As we’re just hours away from the first game, let’s give our late predictions for all four matchups so you can bet against the NFL Playoffs odds.
(4) Cincinnati Bengals @ (1) Tennessee Titans
This game will lead off a weekend full of playoff action. The Bengals come into this one as one of the hottest teams in the league. Joe Burrow and the offense has been putting up huge numbers over the past few weeks.
Ja’Marr Chase has become one of the top receivers in the league, and he’ll be going up against a suspect Tennessee secondary.
As for the Titans, they’ll finally have their full arsenal of offensive weapons together as Derrick Henry makes his long-awaited return. We look for the Titans to give Henry a huge workload to help keep the Cincinnati offense on the sidelines.
While the Bengals will play well enough to win, we think that the Titans will advance to the next round.
(4) Los Angeles Rams @ (2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Los Angeles Rams acquired Matthew Stafford for this moment. Sean McVay felt that he was a good quarterback away from having a Super Bowl-winning squad. Stafford has made the Rams offense better, and we’ll see if he can finally get to the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady is on a quest to win another ring. Even though his offense has been depleted, and he could be missing a key offensive lineman, Brady and the Bucs will still be ready for the Rams. The Bucs have one of, if not the best defensive line in the game, and that will pose a threat for the Rams’ offense.
With all of that being said, we’re leaning towards the Rams in this one. They have a good offense and a defense filled with star power that wants to get to the Super Bowl. The Rams will win a high-scoring affair 34-28, upsetting Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
(6) San Francisco 49ers @ (1) Green Bay Packers
Many experts are saying that this is a worst-case scenario for the Green Bay Packers. The Niners have a great running attack, while the Packers’ run defense is average at best. San Francisco also has a very disciplined defense with a big pass rush that could cause Aaron Rodgers some issues.
It all looks good on paper, but in the end, we think that Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the game today, and he’ll find a way to lead the Packers into the Conference Championship game next weekend.
(3) Buffalo Bills @ (2) Kansas City Chiefs
Everyone is looking forward to this one. You’ve got two of the best quarterbacks in the league squaring off, as the Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills for the second time this season. Buffalo won the first matchup, but a lot of things have changed since then.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense played a near-perfect game last weekend in their big victory over the New England Patriots. We’ll see if their defense can play a near-perfect game on Sunday to stop the high-powered Chiefs offense.
This one will be a high-scoring affair, so we’ll see who comes out on top. We think that the Buffalo Bills will win on a late field goal.

NFL Divisional Round Betting Preview for LA Rams at Tampa Bay
Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Game Odds & Info | NFL Playoffs Betting
- When: Sunday, Jan. 23 at 3:00 pm ET
- Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
- TV / Streaming: NBC / Peacock
- ATS Odds: Tampa Bay -3
- Moneyline Odds: LAR +125 / Tampa Bay -145
- Over/Under Odds: 48 ½
Why bet on LAR versus Tampa Bay?
The Rams entered their wild card game versus the rival Arizona Cardinals with plenty of questions. LAR left the game leaving no doubt that they’re one of the best teams in the NFC. The Rams didn’t just beat Kyler Murray and the Cards, they dominated 34-11. Also, Los Angeles already beat the Buccaneers this season. Stafford knows how to break down Tampa’s defense and Aaron Donald knows how to get to Tom Brady.
Why bet on Tampa Bay versus LAR?
In that first game, a 34-24 Los Angeles Rams’ victory, Tampa’s defense wasn’t one-hundred percent healthy. The defense will be healthy on Sunday. Not only that, but even though Stafford and the Rams won the game, Tom Brady threw for 432 yards and a TD without a pick. If Brady has similar success at home, the Bucs should turn the tables.
Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Final Betting Prediction
Brady’s performance against the Rams in the first game is important to note because the Los Angeles Rams have a mediocre secondary. Led by Donald, the defensive line is fantastic. But the secondary isn’t nearly good enough to get Brady off his game.
If the Rams blitz to try and push Tom into bad throws, it won’t work. Brady has enough experience and has such a high football IQ that he knows what throw to make before center Ryan Jensen snaps the ball.
On offense the Rams should run into some trouble. The Buccaneers are fully healthy, meaning Lavonte David, Shaquil Barrett, Devin White, and the entire secondary is ready to make life hard on Stafford.
Another reason to back the Bucs? Although the Rams looked good beating Arizona, the Cardinals had played awful leading up to the game. Zona beat themselves with bad execution and terrible play calls.
Bruce Arians and Tom Brady won’t make the mistakes Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury made. At -3, the Buccaneers are an overlay.
