NFL Betting Update and Quick Review of the QBs for the 2022 Season

Training camps are in full swing, and the preseason schedule has already started. That means that the regular season is right around the corner. Every team in the league will live or die based on how much productivity they get from their starting QB. With that in mind, we thought it might be a good idea to look at the QB situation for every team before the season begins. Let’s get to it so you don’t miss your chance to bet against the NFL Odds.

NFL 2022 Quarterbacks Betting Rundown for Upcoming Season

Arizona Cardinals – The Cardinals just handed Kyler Murray a whopping new contract, but will he be able to maintain a high level of play throughout the entire season?

Atlanta Falcons – A QB battle between Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder tells you it might be a long season for the Falcons.

Baltimore Ravens – Lamar Jackson is a huge talent, but can he stay healthy and finally get the job done in the postseason.

Buffalo Bills – No QB concerns here, as Josh Allen is one of the best in the business right now.

Carolina Panthers – It’s going to be interesting to watch training camp to see if Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield emerges as the starter.

Chicago Bears – Justin Field showed some flashes of brilliance in his rookie season, but things fell apart as the season progressed. He does need some help, though.

Cincinnati Bengals – Last season proved that the Bengals have their franchise QB in Joe Burrow.

Cleveland Browns – For now, the DeShaun Watson suspension is at 6 games, but it might end up being more. Watch this space.

Dallas Cowboys – The Cowboys need to do a better job of protecting Dak Prescott and allowing him to shine.

Denver Broncos – The Broncos got themselves a serious upgrade in the offseason when they went out and acquired the services of Russell Wilson.

Detroit Lions – The Lions are, from top to bottom, a bit of a mess, so there really isn’t much for Jared Goff to work with.

Green Bay Packers – In Aaron Rodgers, the Packers have an MVP at the QB position, so they are in good shape.

Houston Texans – David Mills was tossed into the deep end in his rookie season, but he showed he has some talent. Still, not a lot of weapons to work with.

Indianapolis Colts – This is a team that thinks they have the pieces to win and picking up Matt Ryan from the Falcons certainly helps the cause.

Jacksonville Jaguars – Given the disaster that was the 2021 season, the only way for Trevor Lawrence to go is up.

Kansas City Chiefs – Patrick Mahomes. Need we say any more?

Las Vegas Raiders – Derek Carr is going to have an opportunity to pad his stats this season now that he has Davante Adams to throw to.

LA Chargers – I would suggest that the Chargers have a potential MVP candidate in Justin Herbert.

LA Rams – After toiling his whole pro career in Detroit, Matthew Stafford went to the Rams and won a Super Bowl. What will he do for an encore?

Miami Dolphins – The addition of Tyreek Hill will help Tua Tagovailoa, but will it be enough?

Minnesota Vikings – Veteran QB Kirk Cousins will be back under center for the Vikings, so expect steady and unspectacular.

New England Patriots – Mac Jones had himself a stellar rookie season. If he can avoid the sophomore slump, it should be another good year.

New Orleans Saints – Before getting injured last season, Jameis Winston had his moments with the Saints. He’ll get another crack in 2022.

New York Giants – The clock is ticking on Daniel Jones time as the starting QB.

New York Jets – It’s a similar situation with the other NY team, with Zach Wilson likely to be on a short leash.

Philadelphia Eagles – Not everyone is sold on Jalen Hurts, but his upside is huge.

Pittsburgh Steelers – It’s the start of a new QB era in Pittsburgh, but will it be Mitch Trubisky or Kenny Pickett leading the charge?

San Francisco 49ers – They seem to be all in on Trey Lance and only time will tell if that is smart.

Seattle Seahawks – From Russell Wilson to Geno Smith. Now, that is a downgrade.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – After a 40-day retirement, Tom Brady is back!!

Tennessee Titans – Ryan Tannehill is still the man, but Malik Willis is waiting to take over.

Washington Commanders – Hard to imagine that Carson Wentz will be the man to turn this ship around.

I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
