NFL Week 13 Must Bet Games & 2024 Expert Analysis, featuring Thanksgiving Game

For NFL fans, the coming week is one that they have probably had circled on the calendar for quite some time.

It’s Thanksgiving this week in the States, which means that we have 4 days of football action coming in Week 13.

NFL Week 13 Must Bet Games Analysis

Best of all, the schedule is filled with games that are going to have an impact on the divisional races and the battle for playoff spots, both of which are heating up rather dramatically.

At the time of writing, we are still waiting for the Week 12 Monday night game, but we know enough to look ahead and check out the games that are going to be the ones to watch over the next 7 days.

There will be no predictions here, but we will take a closer look at how these matchups might play out, so let’s get to it.

Thanksgiving Game: Miami Dolphins +145 at Green Bay Packers -179

TNF, November 28, 2024, 8:20 PM | NBC, Peacock, Universo

There are three games on the schedule for Thanksgiving Day, but it is the late game that looks to be the most intriguing, so hopefully we can all stay awake after loading up on turkey.

You hate to say that one man can make a difference on a team, but the Miami Dolphins have looked a lot better since getting Tua Tagovailoa back from injury, winning 3 in a row to move to 5-6.

They still have some work to do to secure a Wild Card spot, and this will be a tough trip.

The Packers are 3rd in the impressive NFC North, sitting at 8-3, while posting a 4-2 home record.

They look like a good bet to be in the postseason, but again, there is still work to be done.

LA Chargers -125 at Atlanta Falcons +102

Sunday, December 1, 2024, 1:00 PM | CBS

As mentioned at the top of this piece, we are still awaiting the outcome of the Monday night game, which promises to be a beauty, as it features the Harbaugh brothers going head-to-head on the sidelines.

The Chargers are hot at the moment and are on a 4-game win streak that has moved them to 7-3 this season.

If they can take out the Ravens on Monday night, we may need to start looking at them as a potential dark horse to win it all.

The Chargers are 3-2 in road games this season and might just be getting the Falcons at the right time.

Atlanta is still on top in the NFC South, but they have lost 2 in a row to fall to 6-5 overall.

The Falcons have not been totally convincing at home, going 3-3 in their own building.

Pittsburgh Steelers +128 at Cincinnati Bengals -157

Sunday, December 1, 2024, 1:00 PM | CBS

The AFC North has essentially turned into a 2-horse race between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

It is the Steelers who have the edge right now, but the remainder of their season is essentially comprised of games against divisional foes.

They took out the Ravens a couple of weeks ago, but then took a backward step with a loss to the Browns last Thursday night in a veritable blizzard.

They are going to need to bounce back from that, and a couple of days’ extra rest might just help.

The Bengals have now lost 2 in a row to fall to 4-7 this season, but you can bet that they are not going to go down without a fight.

Playing at home had not been an advantage for them at all, as they are 1-4 in their own building this season.

Arizona Cardinals +152 at Minnesota Vikings -189

Sunday, December 1, 2024, 1:00 PM | FOX

Some divisions will potentially send 2 or 3 teams to the playoffs, while others will only send the winners. Given how things look in the NFC West, it is likely to be the champion alone that makes it in.

The Cardinals are coming off a loss that dropped them out of the top spot, while taking their season record down to 6-5.

They need this one, but they are just 2-3 away from home and will be hitting the road to face a Minnesota team that very much looks to be playoff bound, while also still being in the hunt for a division title.

The Vikings are 9-2, which has them just off the pace being set by the high-flying Detroit Lions.

They have won 4 In a row and have lost just once in their own building this season.

Philadelphia Eagles +127 at Baltimore Ravens -155

Sunday, December 1, 2024, 4:25 PM | CBS

We have a pair of potential division winners going head-to-head in this one, with both of these teams looking like a shoo-in to be in the playoffs.

Even though they are both likely playoffs bound, they will still want to get as high a seeding as possible to make life a little easier.

After a bit of a wobbly start to the season, the Eagles are now flying high and will be coming into this one on a 7-game winning streak.

They are 5-1 on the road and a perfect 3-0 in non-conference games. The Ravens lost to the Steelers in Week 11 and will have another tough one on Monday night against the Chargers, so they really need this one to maintain their push for the AFC North crown.

The Ravens are 4-1 in their own building.

SNF San Francisco 49ers +250 at Buffalo Bills -330

Sunday, December 1, 2024, 8:20 PM | NBC, Peacock

Prior to the start of the season, a lot of fans might well have been looking at this matchup as a potential Super Bowl preview. While the Bills are holding up their end of the bargain, the same cannot be said for the 49ers.

In fairness, the injury bug has been alive and well in San Francisco, with the 49ers now sitting at 5-6.

If there is a silver lining to be found, it is that the West is proving to be quite weak this season, so the 49ers are still in with a shot at winning the division.

The Bills come into this one on a 6-game winning streak and are probably a couple of wins away from clinching the AFC East, although they might need more than that now that the Dolphins are winning again.
