The Lightning have certainly proven their toughness in that regard, coming from 3-2 down in the series to beat the Leafs in Round 1, and then going in an 0-2 hole to the Rangers before coming out and winning 4 in a row. They had a sweep of the Panthers in between those series wins, so this is a team that can get the job done in many different ways. In the Eastern Conference Final, it was all about goaltending and defense, with Tampa holding the Rangers to just 5 goals over the final 4 games of the series. They lost both meetings with the Avalanche in the regular season, but both were by a single goal, so perhaps expect another tight one here.

The Colorado Avalanche have, at times, made the road to the Stanley Cup Final look ridiculously easy. Yes, they had to go to 6 games to knock off the St. Louis Blues in Round 2, but they won by a sweep in the other 2 series. Part of the reason why they have looked so good on their way to the final is that their offense has been firing on all cylinders, scoring 69 goals through their 14 playoff games.
