NBA Betting Predictions & Picks: Celtics vs Raptors, Bucks vs Cavaliers, Pacers vs Suns

While we are still waiting for the trade deadline and the All-Star Game to come, we are now officially past the midway point of the NBA regular season. It has to be said that this season feels a little different in that there is no clear favorite to win it all currently emerging from the pack. Sure, there are a few teams who look very good, but it still feels as though any team could win on any given night. This is going to be another big weekend, as the schedule is filled with games that have playoff implications, and which may go a long way towards deciding what each team will do as the trade deadline approaches. We are going to look at the NBA Betting action for the next couple of days and pick out some matchups that we like, but the focus for this piece will be the Saturday games, so let’s get to it.

Best 2023 NBA Games to Bet On Saturday and Analysis

Boston Celtics at Toronto Raptors

The Boston Celtics have more wins (33) than any other team in the league and are sitting quite pretty at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 4 game lead. They are also on a great run of form right now, winning 7 in a row and going 8-2 in their last 10 games. On the face of it, this looks like another win waiting to happen when you consider that the Toronto Raptors are currently sitting below the play-in line, albeit only just. Despite being 5 games below .500, the Raptors are 14-9 at home, so never a pushover in their own building. The Celtics found that out earlier in the season, winning 116-110 in the previous meeting in Toronto. This one might be closer than some are expecting.

Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers

In terms of conference matchups this weekend, they don’t really come much better than this one. After a bit of a stumble, the Milwaukee Bucks seem to be finding their feet again, with Giannis back in the lineup after sitting things out with a minor injury. They have won 2 in a row and are sitting in the #2 spot in the East, 4 games back of the Boston Celtics. The Cavaliers are down in the #5 spot, but also just a game and a half back of the Bucks, so they really could tighten the gap with a win here. This, though, will be their second game on consecutive nights, so how much will they have in the tank? These teams have met 3 times already this season, with the home team winning each time.

Indiana Pacers at Phoenix Suns

It doesn’t matter how good a team looks coming into the season, there are all kinds of things that can go wrong and that can derail things rather quickly. That is certainly the case for the Phoenix Suns, who are beginning to see their injury report get longer with each passing day. Those injury woes have sent them tumbling down the standings and out of the playoffs, losing 3 in a row and going 1-9 in their last 10 games. The Pacers are sinking, too, losing 5 in a row, although they are still in the play-in zone for the moment. Both of these teams need a win in the worst way, but which of them will get it?
