Skubal is 7-3 with a 2.95 ERA this season, but it is what he has done against Oakland that stands out. He has started against them twice, pitching 11 innings and failing to surrender a single ER.

They still have a little bit of work to do, but at this point, you have to think that the Blue Jays are a Wild Card lock. They could have things locked up by the time Thursday rolls around, but if not, then I like their chances against the Yankees with Bassitt on the mound. He has had a stellar season to this point, going 15-8 and posting a 3.74 ERA. In the month of September, the Bue Jays have won 3 of the 4 games that Bassitt has started, and I like them to keep that positive run alive on Thursday night.
