SU Picks For This Weekend’s NFL Games | Week 16 Betting Lines and Predictions
New Orleans Saints +125 at Cleveland Browns -152 | Saturday, Dec. 24
New Orleans is 3-6 straight up on the road this season. The Browns are 4-3 SU at home, which is the main reason so many are backing Cleveland to win this straight up.
The Saints have played good enough football in their last four to challenge for the victory. But the Browns have won 3-of-4 and this happens on their field. Cleveland gets it done.
NFL Week 16 SU Pick: Cleveland Browns -152
New York Giants +150 at Minnesota Vikings -180 | Saturday, Dec. 24
In week 15, the Vikings made the greatest comeback in NFL history to lock down the NFC North division title. Minnesota was down 33 points before rallying for a 39-36 win in overtime.
The victory had to have taken something out of the Vikings. The Giants are playing well and the team doesn’t make many mistakes. Backing the G-Men makes sense.
NFL Week 16 SU Pick: New York Giants +150
Houston Texans +199 at Tennessee Titans -250 | Saturday, Dec. 24
The Titans head into this on a 4-game losing streak. For Tennessee, it doesn’t look like things will turn around any time soon.
Ryan Tannehill is banged up, the offensive line remains a mess, and Derrick Henry is not playing well. The odds make the road dog more than playable.
NFL Week 16 SU Pick: Houston Texans +199
Philadelphia Eagles +182 at Dallas Cowboys -227 | Saturday, Dec. 24
Dallas should win this game, but it’s difficult to back the Cowboys at -227. Sure, Philadelphia may have to play without quarterback Jalen Hurts.
But backup Gardner Minshew is more than capable. Minshew has starter’s experience in the NFL and gets to play behind an offensive line that will give him enough time to get the ball to his bevy of talented wideouts. The odds make Philadelphia an overlay.
NFL Week 16 SU Pick: Philadelphia Eagles +182
Las Vegas Raiders +125 at Pittsburgh Steelers -154 | Saturday, Dec. 24
The Raiders have gone just 2-6 SU on the road. Pittsburgh doesn’t have a great home straight up record, but the Steelers have a big advantage in this.
Pittsburgh shut down Carolina’s fantastic rushing attack in their last. If the Steel Curtain can stop the Panthers’ rushers, they should at least temper Josh Jacobs and the Raiders’ rushing attack.
NFL Week 16 SU Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers -154
Green Bay Packers +166 at Miami Dolphins -207 | Saturday, Dec. 24
Miami’s offense is fantastic, which is why the Fins are such big time favorites. Also, Miami played a great game versus the Buffalo Bills in their last, almost upsetting Josh Allen and his mates.
Ah, but Miami doesn’t run the ball well and the Packers handled the Rams in their last. Green Bay is in the middle of a season turnaround. Expect Aaron Rodgers to exploit Miami’s defensive issues.
NFL Week 16 Pick: Green Bay Packers +166
Denver Broncos -136 at Los Angeles Rams +111 | Sunday, Dec. 25
The Broncos have covered in 3 straight. Not only that, but Denver scored 24 points against Arizona in their last contest.
Russell Wilson is likely to again sit, which means Brett Rypien will move the Broncos’ offense and Denver will score. On the flip side, the Broncos’ D is good and the Rams’ offensive line is a mess. Denver wins.
NFL Week 16 Pick: Denver Broncos -136
