NBA Championship Odds Update: Warriors Hold the Best Record in the League

Now that we’re almost a fourth of the way through the NBA season, the contenders are starting to separate themselves from the pretenders. We’ve seen some surprises among the top teams, and we’ve also been disappointed by some of the teams that were thought to be title contenders. Let’s take a look at some of the favorites to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy next summer so you can bet against their NBA Championship odds.

NBA Betting Update | Odds to Win the 2021-22 Championship

Brooklyn Nets +260

The Nets currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference, and they’ve done this without the services of Kyrie Irving. We’re not sure if or when we’ll see Irving play this season, but thus far, the Nets have proven that they can win without him. Kevin Durant is arguably the best player globally, and James Harden has finally adjusted his game to comply with the new rules changes.

Golden State Warriors +600

At 17-2, the Warriors currently hold the best record in the NBA. Steph Curry has been the league’s MVP thus far. Jordan Poole has stepped in and done a great job in Klay Thompson’s absence. And speaking of Thompson, he is slated to return in the next couple of weeks. Golden State’s offense is still a thing of beauty, but they’re also defending better than they ever have.

Milwaukee Bucks +700

At 12-8, the Bucks haven’t played up to their capabilities this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday have yet to find their groove. The Bucks have also had some injury issues. We’re not too worried about them, as they started slowly last season as well.

Los Angeles Lakers +900

The oddsmakers won’t give up on the Lakers. LeBron James and company are the oldest team in the league, and with all of the new pieces in place, they have yet to jell. The Lakers are 10-11, and they are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. If they continue to struggle on that end of the floor, they won’t be going very far in the playoffs.

Utah Jazz +1000

Now that Rudy Gobert has become an offensive force, the Jazz are better equipped to win in the playoffs. If Mike Conley Jr. can stay healthy during the regular season and be ready for the playoffs, the Jazz could make a long run.

Miami Heat +1200

With the improvements of Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo and the addition of Kyle Lowry, the Heat are primed for a playoff run. Miami also has one of the best defenses in the league, as they can switch screens and not get hurt by bad matchups.

Phoenix Suns +1400

The winners of 16 straight are ready to make a return trip to the NBA Finals. Chris Paul knows that he squandered a huge opportunity last season, and he wants one more crack at a title shot. Devin Booker has been tremendous this season, and Mikael Bridges and Deandre Ayton continue to improve. If Phoenix continues to play at this level, we could see the Suns again in the Finals.
