The NFC West is once again going to be a one-team race, with another team on the outside looking in and two teams that will need a ton of help to get themselves in the race. The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites to win the division, with Seattle as a fringe playoff team.
The Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals do not look to factor into the playoff picture unless something crazy happens. Let’s take a look at our NFC West Team Totals betting predictions.
NFC West Team Totals Betting Predictions: O/U Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Preview
National Football Conference Western Division | NFC West
Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks
Arizona Cardinals
Regular Season Wins: 4.5
Quarterback: Kyler Murray
Head coach: Jonathan Gannon
Oh man, the Arizona Cardinals are going to have a tough time in 2023. Who are the Cardinals going to beat? Arizona starts the season with three straight NFC West opponents and then goes to San Francisco.
This team has Kyler Murray at the signal caller spot, but his ability to come back from knee surgery has not been super quick yet. Murray is followed up by Colt McCoy and then Clayton Tune. This team does not seem to have much of an identity and will have a tough time getting five wins.
The Cardinals do get Houston and Atlanta, teams maybe they can sneak wins against, and two against the Rams, but UNDER 4.5 seems likely here. The Cardinals are +250 to have the worst record in all of the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams
Regular Season Wins: 6.5
Quarterback: Matthew Stafford
Head coach: Sean McVay
Early in the season, the Rams already have injury concerns with Cooper Kupp. That’s the one guy the Rams cannot afford to lose. Without Kupp, this offense just does not seem to be NFL-ready.
The Rams will turn a bunch of the run game to Cam Akers in the backfield and still have some pieces defensively. Will the Rams look to upgrade as the season goes, or continue to dump off some of their pricey veterans?
The Rams are +1100 for the worst record – which ties them for third-best odds. The Los Angeles Rams have many questions – in fact – too many for us. Take the Rams UNDER 6.5 wins.
NFC West Win Total Pick: 6.5 | Bet Rams Win Totals
MyBookie Betting Props for the Division
Seattle Seahawks
Regular Season Wins: 8.5
Quarterback: Geno Smith
Head coach: Pete Carroll
The biggest question here is – can Geno Smith have another big season that keeps the ball in the Seahawks’ hands and not in the opponents?
DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are a combination that opponents will have a tough time slowing down all season. The running game for Seattle also has some questions, but veteran Pete Carroll is going to get this team ready to go.
The Seahawks have a win total of 8.5, and this is a pretty good number. Seattle starts with the Rams, at the Lions, and with the Panthers. A 2-1 start is likely, with a chance at 3-0. Some tough games come later, but this seems like an OVER bet for nine wins or more.
NFC West Win Total Pick: 8.5 | Bet Seahawks Win Totals
MyBookie Betting Props for the Division
San Francisco 49ers
Regular Season Wins: 10.5
Quarterback: Brock Purdy
Head coach: Kyle Shanahan
The final team here is the team to beat. The 49ers are projected to have around 10-11 wins. Can they get there? They should, but their schedule outside of the NFC West is not easy. If the 49ers can go 5-1 in divisional play, do they have six non-divisional wins?
The 49ers have a tough schedule with the Bengals, Eagles, and Ravens, but this team can win 11 games. San Francisco has odds of +900 for the best overall record in the league.
There you have it. We are excited for the NFC West in 2023. This should be a fun division to follow and one we would like to see if anyone can keep up with San Francisco. Enjoy the season, and best of luck with all your NFL Betting!
