2-Team Parlay

Atlanta Falcons -3 vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Denver Broncos +5 at Seattle Seahawks

The Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to decide who their starting quarterback will be.

No matter if it’s Russell Wilson or Justin Fields, things aren’t looking great in Steel Town.

The problem is that the offense appears as lackluster as it did in 2023.

Fields will give the Steelers the best chance to hang with the Falcons in Atlanta.

But Justin won’t be enough because the ATL upgraded their defense this past week.

The offense should be the best it’s been in a while with Kirk Cousins at quarterback.

Cousins throws to Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson.

Don’t be surprised if the Falcons score 30 against the Steelers.

The Denver Broncos will start Bo Nix, who is more mature than your average rookie quarterback.

Nix has been sensational during the preseason.

Preseason form almost never translates to the regular season.

Still, coach Sean Payton appears to have the Broncos moving in the right direction while the Seahawks will be in a rebuilding year.

5 points are too many to give to Payton and the Ponies.

3-Team Parlay

Atlanta Falcons -3 vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Denver Broncos +5 at Seattle Seahawks
Cleveland Browns -2 vs Dallas Cowboys

If you’re looking to play a 3-team parlay, the best game to add after Falcons versus Steelers and Broncos at Seahawks is Browns versus Cowboys.

A couple of weeks ago, Dallas was a terrific moneyline play to get the upset win.

But then things got more sour between the Boys and their most significant offensive player, CeeDee Lamb.

At the time of this writing, Lamb has yet to join the Cowboys, which means he doesn’t have much time to get on the same page as Dak Prescott.

Myles Garrett and his buds are going to feast on the Boys if Lamb isn’t in a Dallas uni for this.

The Cowboys don’t have much after Lamb on offense.

Zeke Elliott won’t have luck getting through the Browns’ front seven and Brandin Cooks has lost some of his speed.

-2 is a fantastic line on Cleveland to punish the Cowboys.

4-Team Parlay

Atlanta Falcons -3 vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Denver Broncos +5 at Seattle Seahawks
Cleveland Browns -2 vs Dallas Cowboys
New York Jets +5 at San Francisco 49ers

The line is too high in Jets at 49ers.

San Francisco is a Super Bowl favorite, but the Niners are likely to be without the best left tackle in football, Trent Williams.

Williams is holding out for a new contract.

Things have gotten so bad that the Niners list Williams as third on their depth chart.

SF appears ready to start the NFL season without one of the most important pieces of their offense.

The Jets may start the season without defensive end Hasson Reddick.

But Reddick was an addition to the J-E-T-S.

He wasn’t a significant piece of a good defense.

As far as the Jets’ offense is concerned, Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson are on the same page, the Jets’ offensive line is much better this season than last on paper, and Breece Hall projects to have a breakout season.

If the 49ers lose straight up, it won’t be a surprise.

2024 NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks | MyBookie NFL Preview of the First Week of the Season

2023 NFL season | 104th season of National Football League in the United States
September 7, 2023–February 11, 2024

2024 NFL Week 1

While we are a little early, it’s time to take a look at putting together a parlay for the National Football League Week 1 action.

Things are going to change between now and the start of the season.

Some will be good changes for your bet, and some will not.

Let’s take a look at our National Football League Week 1 Parlay Picks:

Writer’s NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks

Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 over Baltimore Ravens

Thursday, September 5th, 2024 – 8:20 PM

The back to back champions are not going to watch themselves lose on opening day for the second straight season.

Kansas City was banged up last season, and saw the Lions come to town and win.

This is a rematch of the AFC title game from a season ago, so there is going to be a lot of emotion in this Thursday Night Football game.

In the end, the Chiefs show who the team to beat in the AFC is going to be again.

Take the Kansas City Chiefs to start the five leg parlay for Week 1.

Cincinnati Bengals -9.5 over New England Patriots

Sunday, September 8th, 2024 – 1:00 PM

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are on a mission this season.

The Bengals felt last year was a little short changing for them.

Burrow was hurt, and Cincinnati never really could get their feet out from under them.

This season though, they are going to be ready to go, and playing ready to show they are a competitor out of the AFC.

We like the Bengals to beat up on the lowly Patriots to start the 2024 season.

Buffalo Bills -7 over Arizona Cardinals

Sunday, September 8th, 2024 – 1:00 PM

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are a third AFC team we are using on this five leg parlay.

The Bills are another team that feel they have a ton to prove this season.

Allen lost one of his top weapons, but is looking to have another big season as the signal caller.

Arizona is going to be fine eventually, but early on, look for them to struggle.

Chicago Bears -4.5 over Tennessee Titans

Sunday, September 8th, 2024 – 1:00 PM

We are going to sip the Chicago Bears kool-aide here.

Caleb Williams is getting his first start as the quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

He has Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and rookie Rome Odunze to toss to.

The running back room looks different for Chicago as well.

The Bears score enough to beat up on the Titans in Chicago in this one.

The Bears start 1-0, and make things in the NFC North interesting this season.

Take the Bears.

Los Angeles Chargers -3.5 over Las Vegas Raiders

Sunday, September 8th, 2024 – 4:05 PM

Two teams out of the AFC West, both with low expectations placed on them.

Everyone talks about the Kansas City Chiefs out of the AFC West.

If the Chiefs fall a bit, one of these teams is there to pounce.

The Chargers are going to look different, with a whole new-look roster, but the important thing is going to be the winning culture Coach Harbaugh brings to Los Angeles.

We like the Chargers to beat the Raiders Chargers by a touchdown in Week 1.

This is our fifth and final pick of the parlay.

Previous Betting News

NFL Parlays aren’t easy to hit. But as football bettors, when we do hit an NFL betting parlay, we can expect big returns. This Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions kick off what promises to be another fantastic NFL Season.

In this blog we run through top Week 1 against the spread and money line NFL parlay picks. Check it out!

NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Preview

2023-24 NFL | 104th season of the National Football League
Regular Season: September 7, 2023 – January 7, 2024

2-Team Parlay Pick | NFL Week 1

Atlanta Falcons -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tennessee Titans

The Falcons should be one of the NFC’s better teams. The NFC isn’t nearly as deep as the AFC, which is why squads like the ATL, and N’Awlins will flourish.

Carolina’s offense line is a mess and the Falcons’ D had decent success last season. The Saints’ will boast one of the league’s top passing attacks.

Derek Carr and Michael Thomas have developed a nice rapport. The Titans’ pass defense should again be a disaster, which means New Orleans blows past the spread line.

3-Team Parlay Pick | NFL Week 1

Atlanta Falcons -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tennessee Titans
Washington Commanders -7 vs Arizona Cardinals

Adding the Commanders to our 3-team parlay makes sense. Washington will have a good offense. Sam Howell plays like a veteran and both running backs, Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson Jr., are solid.

The Cardinals are likely to start Joshua Dobbs. If Clayton Tune starts, don’t be surprised. It won’t matter who AZ sends out to the field to play quarterback, Dobbs or Tune face the best D-line in pro football. So D.C. makes a statement in NFL Week 1.

4-Team Parlay Pick | NFL Week 1

Atlanta Falcons -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tennessee Titans
Washington Commanders -7 vs Arizona Cardinals
Jacksonville Jaguars -3.5 at Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson is going to be a star in the NFL. But in his first game, AR 2.0 is up against a tough defense. Most believe the Jaguars are year away from a Super Bowl berth.

Jacksonville doesn’t. Trevor Lawrence is one of the top five quarterbacks in the league. The defense will be special if it gels. This is a tough first assignment for Richardson.

2-Team Parlay Money Line Pick | NFL Week 1

Green Bay Packers -102 at Chicago Bears
New York Jets +115 vs Buffalo Bills

Jordan Love won’t make Packers fans forget about Aaron Rodgers, the original AR, but he will take the sting away from Rodgers going to the Jets. Green Bay has the much better defense than the Bears. So although Justin Fields will play great in this, GB gets the win.

Speaking of AR’s new team, the Jets’ defense will cause Josh Allen headaches all night. Also, Aaron Rodgers gets to throw to Garret Wilson, who will have a breakout season. Expect a Jets’ victory.

MyBookie Betting Lines for the Games

3-Team Parlay Money Line Pick | NFL Week 1

Green Bay Packers -102 at Chicago Bears
New York Jets +115 vs Buffalo Bills
New York Giants +139 vs Dallas Cowboys

The Giants and Cowboys are rivalries. No doubt, Dallas has a better defense. But the game happens on the G-Men’s field. So NYG gets the nod in the first game.

3-Team Picks | NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Games

4-Team Parlay Money Line Pick | NFL Week 1

Green Bay Packers -102 at Chicago Bears
Miami Dolphins +135 at Los Angeles Chargers
New York Jets +115 vs Buffalo Bills
New York Giants +139 vs Dallas Cowboys

Choosing the Dolphins over the Chargers in NFL Week 1 is a risky move for sure. But Mike McDaniel will have the Fins thinking Super Bowl this season.

Brandon Staley has yet to prove he’s the coach that can take a talented squad like the Bolts to the AFC Championship, forget Super Bowl. Overall, Miami has the more dynamic offense. So Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will be playing catch up all afternoon.

2019 NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks

Take this for what it’s worth but ESPN simulated the entire 2019 season 20,000 times using the ESPN Football Power Index and it came out with a Saints-Chargers Super Bowl, with New Orleans winning the title. I actually agree with that Super Bowl matchup but think the Chargers will win it as long as they get holdout running back Melvin Gordon at some point this season. Here are two games to parlay this week on NFL betting lines.

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings

When: Sunday 1 PM ET
NFL Week 1 Odds: Vikings -4

One of the better Week 1 matchups even though both missed the playoffs last year. Minnesota finished 8-7-1 and was second in the NFC North, while Atlanta went 7-9 with a second-place finish in the NFC South. Both teams made the playoffs in 2017. We think they both play extra football this season.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and Falcons counterpart Matt Ryan finished in the top 10 in passing yards, completion percentage, touchdown passes and passer rating in 2018. Cousins became the only player in NFL history to throw for 4,000-plus yards and complete 70 percent of his passes while throwing at least 30 touchdowns with 10 or fewer interceptions. Ryan just missed, completing 69.4 percent of his passes for 4,924 yards, 35 scores and seven picks.

Ryan, 34, looks to start all 16 games for the 10th consecutive season, while 38-year-old backup Schaub’s last NFL start was a 15-13 loss to the Dolphins as a Baltimore Raven in December of 2015. Ryan should surpass 50,000 career passing yards by season’s end.

Julio Jones should play for Atlanta despite not doing so at all this preseason. Jones, who boasts the highest average for receiving yards per game in NFL history at 99.9, seeks a sixth-straight season of 80-plus catches and 1,400-plus yards. Former Commanders wide receiver Josh Doctson reached a one-year deal with the Vikings just two days after releasing another former first round wideout. That was Laquon Treadwell. Doctson recorded his best season as a pro with Cousins as his quarterback in 2017, finishing with 35 catches, 502 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

These teams last played in 2017 and Atlanta was a 14-9 home loser to Minnesota. Vikings QB Case Keenum, who was 25 of 30 for 227 yards, hooked up with Jerick McKinnon on a 2-yard scoring play in the second quarter and went to Kyle Rudolph for a 6-yard TD on the first play of the fourth quarter, capping an 89-yard drive that consumed more than 8 minutes. Keenum is now with Washington. The Falcons were held without a touchdown for the first time since Dec. 13, 2015. Ryan’s streak of 30 straight games with a touchdown pass also ended, going down as the eighth-longest in NFL history.

Indianapolis at LA Chargers

When: Sunday, 4:05 PM ET
NFL Week 1 Odds: Chargers -6.5

The Colts got off to a rough start in 2018, going 1-5 before turning things around and earning a Wild Card spot in the playoffs with a 10-6 record. The Chargers were the other AFC Wild-Card team, finishing with a 12-4 record.

The Colts begin life without star quarterback Andrew Luck, who shockingly retired in Week 3 of the preseason. The team now turns to Jacoby Brissett. Brissett started 15 games for the Colts in 2017, completing 58.8 percent of his passes for 3,098 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Back then, Brissett worked behind an offensive line that resulted in him seeing pressure on 40.1 percent of his dropbacks. Per Pro Football Focus, only Russell Wilson was pressured at a higher rate among quarterbacks who took at least 50 percent of their team’s snaps.

The Chargers lead the all-time series 16-10 including playoffs but Indy won the last matchup 26-22 in Week 3 of the 2016 season. Los Angeles is without two of its best players in running back Melvin Gordon, who is holding out, and safety Derwin James, who begins the year on injured reserve.

The Chargers claimed James with the No. 17 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and he immediately became a defensive anchor. James recorded 105 tackles, three interceptions, 13 passes defended and 3.5 sacks to earn Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. The latter made him one of eight rookie defenders to make first-team All-Pro since the 1970 merger. One of the reasons that the Chargers were so unpredictable in 2018 is that they would line James up at linebacker, inside and outside, or at his traditional safety position.

The Chargers have scored just six points in the first quarter of season openers under Anthony Lynn, and 19 total points in the entire first half of those two openers. Unsurprisingly, they lost those games. But we like them here.

Expert 2019 NFL Week 1 Parlay Picks

Back Vikings and Chargers, but buy the Bolts down to -6.5.
