We have been waiting all season for a team to emerge as a clear favorite to win it all in the NBA and it might finally be happening. The Boston Celtics have put their foot on the gas and have opened up a 4 ½ game lead at the top of the Eastern Conference, while also putting together the best record in the league at this stage of the season. There is, though, still a lot of basketball to come, and we might yet see a team or two get on a run after making some moves at the trade deadline. For now, all we can do is take a look at the schedule for the week and pick out some NBA Betting games that jump off the page, so let’s get right to that.
Who Should We Bet On Throughout the Week? | NBA Week 15 Lines
Memphis Grizzlies at Sacramento Kings – Monday
This looks to be a great matchup, with both of these teams very much in the hunt for the top spot in the Western Conference. Memphis is just a game and a half out of the lead, but they come into this one having lost 2 in a row, including a close one to the Suns on Sunday night. The Kings are in 3rd place, but they are also 4 ½ games back of the Grizzlies, so they need this one of they are serious about closing the gap. The Grizzlies have won 2 of the 3 previous meetings this season, but the Kings might just have the home court edge here.
Denver Nuggets at New Orleans Pelicans – Tuesday
The Nuggets closed out last week with a loss, but you should not feel too sorry for them, as they are still 9-1 over their last 10 games and have the lead in the Western Conference. They are, though, in for a tricky one here, as they lost quite heavily in their last visit to New Orleans earlier in the season. They may be going at the right time, though, as the Pelicans are on the slide, losing each of their last 4 games. I think this one will be a whole lot closer than the earlier meeting.
Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers – Wednesday
This is a huge game in the Eastern Conference, as both of these teams are still very much in the conversation for the #1 spot. Brooklyn was hot, but they found themselves in a bit of a skid that they now appear to have pulled out of with back-to-back wins. They are sitting in 4th, just a game back of the 76ers, who are totally hot right now, winning 5 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games. Both teams need this one to keep pace with the Celtics.
Dallas Mavericks at Phoenix Suns – Thursday
When you play this many games in a season, there are going to be periods of highs and lows. The Mavericks are in one of the lows at the moment, as they now have just 3 wins in their last 10 games. The Suns, on the other hand, appear to be heading in the right direction again, winning 3 in a row to edge closer to the top 6. Phoenix has been very good on home court, and with momentum on their side, they might be a tough out for the Mavericks.
