NFL Top 10 Offensive Players Analysis | MyBookie Football Betting Preview of the Season
2024 NFL Season | 105th season of the National Football League
The NFL’s Top 10 Offensive Players
10 – Puka Nakua WR LA Rams
As a rookie last season, Nakua dominated defensive backs.
The fifth round pick out of BYU caught 105 passes for 11,486 yards and caught 6 touchdown passes.
Nakua is going to be more effective in Sean McVay’s offense in his second season.
9 – CeeDee Lamb WR Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb has emerged as one of the top receivers in the NFL.
Dak Prescott’s favorite target caught an incredible 135 passes for an impressive 1,749 yards.
Lamb’s fantasy football owners went gaga over his 12 TD catches.
8 – C.J. Stroud QB Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud earned the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award last season by leading the Houston Texans, who were supposed be one of the worst teams in the league, to the playoffs.
Stroud threw for 4,035 yards and 23 TDs to just 5 picks.
This season, Stroud is a contender to win NFL MVP. Stefon Diggs, Joe Mixon, and tight-end Dalton Schultz joins Nico Collins.
C.J. has plenty of targets so winning the MVP is a real possibility.
7 – Jared Goff QB Detroit Lions
Although Goff’s numbers aren’t as impressive as many of the other quarterbacks on this list, the Detroit Lions signal caller has unparalleled leadership skills.
The beneficiary of a massive offseason contract, Goff threw for 4,575 yards and tossed 30 TDs last season.
Jared and the rest of the Lions are deadest on making the Super Bowl this year.
Goff will rally his teammates in close games. So expect the Lions to be one of the league’s top teams in 2024.
6 – Josh Allen QB Buffalo Bills
Allen, one of the favorites to win the NFL MVP this season, scored an incredible 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023.
Josh also threw for 29 touchdowns.
Allen’s 18 interceptions were a lot. But Allen makes up for it via his rushing and passing abilities.
5 – Tyreek Hill WR Miami Dolphins
Hill is a threat to score a TD on every catch. Tua Tagovailoa’s top target caught 119 passes that he turned into 1,799 yards.
Hill also caught 13 TD passes.
Hill’s 15.1 yards per carry average is one of the top in the NFL.
4 – Brock Purdy QB San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco quarterback had a terrific second season.
Piloting one of the best offenses in the NFL, Brock Purdy threw for 4,280 yards and 31 TDs.
Brock had just 11 picks. Purdy’s going to have to have as good of a season in 2024 if the Niners hope to return to the Super Bowl.
3 – Christian McCaffrey RB San Francisco 49ers
McCaffrey is NFL’s best non-quarterback player.
Christian caught 67 passes for 564 yards and caught 7 TD passes.
McCaffrey’s rushed for 1,459 yards, averaged 5.4 yards per carry, and scored an amazing 14 rushing touchdowns.
McCaffrey scored a total of 21 TDs last season for the NFC Champion 49ers.
2 – Patrick Mahomes QB Kansas City Chiefs
Mahomes threw for less yards and less TDs than Jared Goff, Brock Purdy, and Josh Allen.
But Mahomes ranks second in the NFL because he’s got 3 Super Bowl rings and those guys have zero.
No quarterback in the NFL is as effective at leading his team to victory as Patrick Mahomes.
The man is already an NFL Hall of Fame player and he hasn’t yet turned thirty.
1 – Lamar Jackson QB Baltimore Ravens
3,678 passing yards, 24 passing TDs to just 7 interceptions, 821 rushing yards, 5 rushing TDs, and a 5.5 yards per rush average makes Lamar Jackson the NFL’s best offensive player.
Jackson won his second NFL MVP because he’s the reason the Baltimore Ravens made it all the way to the AFC Championship.
In 2024, Jackson is going to get more help than he’s ever before had.
Derrick Henry is Baltimore’s new starting running back. Nelon Agholor, Rashad Bateman, and Zay Flowers gives Lamar three legit WR targets and Mark Andrews will be one hundred percent after missing time in 2023.

NFL Top 10 Offensive Players Expert Analysis Dec. 23rd
Previous Betting News
With the 2020 NFL regular season winding down, it’s time to take a look at the top offensive players in the league as we get set for the quickly-approaching slate of Week 16 action. While a handful of familiar names like Derrick Henry and Deshaun Watson make the list for the second straight week, a trio of offensive players make this week’s top 10 after their eye-opening performance from last weekend. Now, let’s find out which players make the Week 16 top 10 offensive player rankings. Let’s get right to it so you can place your bets against their NFL odds.
NFL Offensive Player Rankings Heading Into Week 16!
No. 10 Calvin Ridley – WR – Atlanta
Atlanta’s second-year star out of Alabama had 10 receptions for 163 yards and one score in the Falcons‘ 31-27 collapse of a loss against Tampa Bay on Sunday. The first round pick in the 2018 draft is sixth in receiving yards (1,192) and ninth in TD catches (9).
No. 9 Darren Waller – TE – Las Vegas
Even in defeat, Vegas’ blossoming Darren Waller ‘showed out’ by hauling in nine receptions for 150 yards and one touchdown. Waller had a phenomenal 13catches for 200 yards and two scores in the Raiders‘ Week 13 31-28 comeback win over the Jets. The sixth round pick in the 2015 draft is ranked sixth in receptions (93), 14th in receiving yards (967) and T-8 in TD grabs (8).
No. 8 Salvon Ahmed – RB – Miami
You might not know who Salvon Ahmed is, but you might want to get familiar with Miami’s rookie running back if Sunday’s breakout performance is any indication of things to come. the former Washington University back had 122 yards and one score on 23 carries in Miami’s convincing 22-12 win over New England on Sunday. Ahmed has 250 rushing yards and two scores over Miami’s last three games!
No. 7 Aaron Jones – RB – Green Bay
The Packers‘ fourth-year running back had 145 rushing yards and one score on 20 carries in Green Bay’s hard-fought 24-16 home win over Carolina. Jones ranks fourth in rushing yards (968) and T-11 in touchdowns (8).
No. 6 Deshaun Watson – QB – Houston
The Houston Texans might have suffered a crushing 7-20 road loss at Indianapolis last weekend, but it wasn’t because Deshaun Watson didn’t show up to play. Houston’s superstar signal-caller passed for 373 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Texans’ narrow 27-20 road loss at Indianapolis. However, Watson almost led the Texans to a fantastic finish – before wide receiver Keke Coutee fumbled a potential game-winning TD pass at the 2-yard line with 28 seconds remaining in regulation.
No. 5 David Montgomery – RB – Chicago
Well, clearly it seems like Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy has finally realized he has a player with star qualities in elusive running back David Montgomery. After rushing for 113 yards and one score in Chicago’s Week 14 blowout win over Houston, the former Iowa State star burned Minnesota for 146 rushing yards and two scores on a whopping 32 carries in Sunday’s 33-27 win over the Vikings.
No. 4 Jalen Hurts – QB – Philadelphia
Hurts makes the top 10 quarterback rankings for the second straight week – in just his second career start. The former Alabama and Oklahoma star passed for 338 yards with three TD passes and a touchdown run in Philadelphia’s narrow 33-26 road loss at Arizona.
No. 3 Derrick Henry – RB – Tennessee
You know, it’s crazy when you start expecting a guy to rush for 150 yards every week, but that’s the case when it come to Tennessee Titans superstar running back Derrick Henry! The reigning NFL rushing champion had a ‘casual’ 147 yards and one touchdown in Tennessee’s 46-25 blowout of Detroit last weekend. Henry ranks first in rushing yards (1,679) and first in touchdowns (15).
No. 2 DeAndre Hopkins – WR – Arizona
At No. 2, I’ve got perennial Kyler Murray’s top target – perennial Pro Bowler wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Now in his eighth season in the league and first with the Cardinals, Hopkins hauled in nine passes for 169 yards and one score against Philly on Sunday. Hopkins ranks second in receptions (103), first in receiving yards (1,324) and T-21 in TD grabs (6).
No. 1 Kyler Murray
Murray, who locked down the spot in the weekly quarterback power rankings, also get the nod as my top offensive player of the week after torching Philadelphia for 406 passing yards with three touchdowns and one interception in Arizona’s huge, 33-26 home win over the Birds. The elusive former Oklahoma star added 29 rushing yards and a rushing score to help improve Arizona’s odds of reaching the playoffs.
NFL Top 10 Offensive Players Expert Analysis Dec. 2nd
Previous Betting News
Okay MyBookie NFL betting faithful, with Week 13 of the 2020 regular season almost here, it’s time to take a look at the top 10 offensive players in the league so far. My criteria is simple. Outside of statistics, the following 10 players have been most responsible for their respective teams’ success this season. Simply put, I’ve come to the conclusion that, by subtracting the following 10 stars from their respective teams would adversely affect each team’s success on the field – and accompanying chances of reaching – and winning Super Bowl 55 in February. Let’s get started so you can continue making your bets against their NFL odds.
NFL Offensive Player Rankings Heading Into Week 13!
No. 10 Terry McLaurin – WR – Washington
Second-year Washington wide receiver Terry McLaurin wasn’t a high draft pick as he came into the league in the third round out of Ohio State in the 2019 draft, but he’s quickly turned into a star in less than two full seasons. After racking up an impressive 58 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie last season, McLaurin is now undeniably Washington’s top receiver. The 25-year-old wideout ranks 11th in receptions (69) and fifth in receiving yards (963) despite playing with a trio of quarterbacks under center. McLaurin is Washington’s best (only?) wide receiver and removing him from the team would make Ron Rivera’s squad a completely run-oriented team that opponents could stack the box against.
No. 9 Dalvin Cook – RB – Minnesota
The 25-year-old second round pick out of Florida State is having a phenomenal season as he heads into Week 13 ranked second in rushing yards (1,130), first in rushing touchdowns (13) and sixth in average yards per carry (5.2). Cook also has 29 receptions for 255 yards and another score and has been utterly instrumental to Minnesota’s success this season – although veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins has been playing lights out as of late.
No. 8 Nick Chubb – RB – Cleveland
I’ve got to give credit where credit is due. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski made a hella’ smart move by changing his offense from a Baker Mayfield-led attack to one that features running back Nick Chubb and counterpart Kareem Hunt. The 24-year-old Chubb, a second round pick out of Georgia in 2018, has rushed for a team-high 719 yards (6th) and six touchdowns (10th) while averaging a jaw-dropping 6.3 yards per carry (2nd). While Hunt has rushed for an equally impressive 706 yards while averaging 4.5 yards per carry, Chubb is the gut you fear to take any carry all the way to the house.
No. 7 Tyreek Hill – WR – Kansas City
If last week’s 269-yard, three-touchdown performance doesn’t say everything that needs to be said about the fleet-footed Hill, then I don’t know what else to say. The fifth round pick in the 2016 draft has 68 catches (12th) for 1,021 yards (2nd) and a league-leading 13 TD receptions. The perennial Pro Bowler opens up the entire field for Patrick Mahomes and the rest of Kansas City’s explosive offensive skill position players and can chance the course of any game on a single play. Play off of Hill and he’ll beat you underneath. Play too close to the speedster and it’s likely a lights out quick-six!
No. 6 DK Metcalf – WR – Seattle
Now, in just his second year in the league, the 6-4, 229-pound Metcalf has quickly turned into arguably the most feared wide receiver in the league. The second round pick out of Ole Miss has 58 receptions (T17) for a league-leading 1,039 yards and nine touchdowns (5th) while averaging 17.9 yards per catch (3rd). The super-sized wideout torched Philly for 177 yards on Monday night and has the look of a genuine superstar for years to come.
No. 5 Deshaun Watson – QB – Houston
I know Houston has been pretty awful this season, but none of it has been Deshaun Watson’s fault. The 12th overall pick in the 2017 draft has been stunningly good this season by passing for 3,201 yards (4th) and 24 TD passes (T5) while rushing for 293 yards and two more scores. Over Houston’s last six games, three of which have resulted in wins, Watson has thrown a whopping 15 TD passes and no interceptions. Unfortunately, the former Clemson star has little to no help on offense, particularly after for Texans head coach and GM Bill O’Brien foolishly traded away perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver Deandre Hopkins. Subtract Watson from the lineup and Houston doesn’t win a single game.
No. 4 Derrick Henry – RB – Tennessee
While veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill is now rock-steady under center after floundering in Miami at the start of his career, make no mistake about it, in order to beat the Tennessee Titans, stopping powerful running back Derrick Henry is first and foremost. The league’s reigning rushing leader is back at it again as he enters Week 13 ranked first in rushing yards (1,257) and second in rushing touchdowns (12). Henry is averaging a stellar 4.9 yards per carry and has topped the 100-yard mark in three straight games and five of Tennessee’s last seven games overall. Henry has put up a mind-boggling 311 rushing yards and four touchdowns in leading the Titans to consecutive victories. To make matters worse, Henry gets stronger late in the season and late in games while opposing defenders want nothing to do with trying to stop the bulldozer of a running back.
No. 3 Ben Roethlisberger – QB – Pittsburgh
It’s crazy to me that Ben Roethlisberger isn’t getting more attention for being a legitimate MVP candidate, but no matter, I still believe he’s been one of the best offensive players in the league this season. Big Ben has thrown 24 TD passes (T5) and just five interceptions and while helping rookie wideout Chase Claypool turn into a legitimate star. The bottom line is that, if you remove the 38-year-old from Pittsburgh’s lineup, the Steelers go 8-8 at best, just like they did a year ago. With Roethlisberger under center, the Steelers are unbeaten and a real threat to challenge Kansas City in the AFC.
No. 2 Russell Wilson – QB – Seattle
It’s hard to believe Wilson was a third round pick back in 2012, but he’s far surpassed any expectations and will certainly be a future Hall of Famer at some point in the future. Wilson has been phenomenal in passing for 3,216 yards (3rd) with 31 TD passes (2nd) while adding 379 rushing yards and another score. Wilson leads the league in quarterback rating and is undoubtedly the straw that stirs Seattle’s drink.
No. 1 Patrick Mahomes – QB – Kansas City
The former league MVP and Super Bowl winner looks like he could win his second MVP as he enters Week 13 ranked first in passing yards (3,497), third in touchdown passes (30) and first in fewest interceptions (2). Mahomes has added 215 rushing yards and two scores and can make throws that the average human just can’t make. If you take Mahomes out of the lineup, i suspect Kansas City would still be a nine-win team under Chad Henne, but with Mahomes calling the shots, the Chiefs are going to be legitimate Super Bowl favorites for years to come!
