Ray is 8-7 with a 3.90 ERA. Verlander is 13-3 with a 1.88 ERA. The Astros’ ace is 6-1 and has a 2.05 ERA at home. Ray will pitch well, but it won’t be well enough. Stros win.

Yankees starter Nestor Cortes is having a great season. At home, Cortes is 3-1 with a 1.90 ERA and has struck out 53. Overall, Cortes’ ERA is a terrific 2.48.

KC goes with former Cy Young winner Zack Greinke. The 38-year-old isn’t having a great season. Greinke is 0-5 on the road this year. He’s got a 7.38 road ERA.

Cortes and the Yankees should win. If you’re feeling lucky, back the Yankees on the run line.

Chicago starter Drew Smyly’s away stats are more impressive than his home stats. Smyly is 3-2 with a 3.71 ERA in away games.

The Giants send Jakob Junis to the mound. Junis is 4-2 with a 2.98 ERA. In home games, Junis is 2-0. But Jakob’s ERA when throwing in San Francisco’s park is 4.03. Smyly and the Cubs have a chance.
