The Green Bay Packers made the postseason a season ago, and had a chance to win a postseason game. They fell short, and the season came to an end, but there was a ton to be excited about as Matt LaFluer’s squad walked off the field. Now, the 2024 season is here, and the expectations are rising a bit for the young squad that continues to grow and develop.

MyBookie NFL Betting Analysis for the Whole Season
Packers Season | 104th in the National Football League | 6th under head coach Matt LaFleur
2023: 9–7 record / 2nd NFC North
Green Bay Packers Win Total: 10.5
The Lions twice, the Bears twice, and a rivalry game home and away against the Minnesota Vikings. A young, talented team that is not super deep? There are a bunch of teams in the National Football League that have a win total at 10.5. It seems to be the easier bet to wager on the UNDER here. The Packers could go 10-7 and still reach the postseason. That is not a wild thought. 10.5 seems too high a bet for our money.

Packers to Make Playoffs: NO +150
It just seems to make more sense to bet NO to make the playoffs than yes. Only 7 teams from the NFC make the postseason. There are 16 NFC teams. The Green Bay Packers have a good chance to be a Top 7 team.
The Green Bay Packers also have a great chance to be one of the bottom nine teams in the NFC. Even a .500 season, and the answer here is NO.
Remember a season ago, this team needed hot play late in the season to get to the postseason. Will they be able to find that magic again this season if they find themselves in a hole? We will find out. We are going with the NO for this bet.

NFC North Champions: +210
You can get the Packers to win their division and double your money. The Packers are behind the Lions at +150, and ahead of the Bears at +265. The Lions have Jared Goff, and went to the NFC title game a season ago.
The Bears have Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen and several star players. There is a lot of hype in Chicago. Minnesota should be down, but even they are going to have some talent on the field to contend with.
The VIkings at +1000 to win the NFC North. Green Bay at +210 is a good bet. Those are good, quality odds.

NFC Champions +800
When it comes to winning the NFC, whether it is two or three postseason wins to get to the Super Bowl, Green Bay comes into the NFL season at +800.
Green Bay will again be battling with those teams in division, and also the previous two NFC Champions – San Francisco and Philadelphia. It is time for a third team in three seasons to win the NFC.
The Packers want to think they are one of those teams that can get it done. At +800, they are going to need to stay healthy, defend like crazy and keep Love healthy.

The Green Bay Packers come into the season 10th on the betting odds to win the Super Bowl. That is not bad for a team that is as young as the Packers are.
They were the youngest team in the league a season ago.
While they may not be able to claim that this season, they still have plenty of youthful talent.
The Packers are +1900, and behind four other teams in the NFC, including their divisional rival Detroit, who is +1200.

Offseason Work in Green Bay
The biggest addition for the Green Bay Packers was grabbing Josh Jacobs. The 26 year old was the rushing champion during the 2022 season. He did not have a good season last year, but, with his ability, if he can stay healthy, should give Jordan Love some help in the backfield. Also, the Packers re-signed AJ Dillon, who will share the workload with Jacobs. Those two will form a really nice running back room in Green Bay.
Xavier McKinney, Keisean Nixon and Corey Bellentine are all names that will be on the defense. Those guys made off-season moves and chose Green Bay.
The Packers are known for their offense, with former great quarterbacks like Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, and now Jordan Love getting plenty of hype. The defense is what is going to have to bring their “A” game. In the NFC North, the Lions and Bears are going to look to push the football, and without a defensive game to stop them, it could be trouble.
Expects throughout the National Football League loved the draft that the Green Bay Packers put together. Their first pick was offensive line help. A guy that can assist with Jordan Love.
The pick was Offensive lineman Jordan Morgan from Arizona. Their second round pick was linebacker Edgerrin Cooper out of Texas A+M. Later in the second round the Packers grabbed Javon Bullard from Georgia. He is a safety that will be ready to play day 1. Marshawn Lloyd, a running back from USC was the third round pick, and will fight for a spot in the running back room with Jacobs and Dillon.
Final Call for Packers
There it is. That is a look at the Green Bay Packers season odds: Season rundown. We are looking forward to the start of the National Football League. We expect it to be another awesome season of football. For the Packers, it’s all about Jordan Love, and his ability to stay healthy, and also how well he corrects mistakes he made in his rookie season. The potential is there for Green Bay! We want to wish you the best of luck with all your National Football League betting.

Previous Betting News
Once the season ends, teams start to look at their season and try to decide the best way forward. We are already seeing that happening, with several coach firings already done, with the futures of several others still up in the air. 2024 MyBookie Sportsbook NFL Odds, American Football NFL Lines | Green Bay Packers Postseason Betting Analysis
For the teams making the playoffs, those types of decision won’t be made until the run is over. Will they feel they are close to a championship, or will they feel as though they need a few more additions to really compete. For the Green Bay Packers, a trip to the playoffs, even as the #7 seed, must feel like something of a win in that it comes on the heels of moving on from Aaron Rogers. Just how successful will the first full season of the Jordan Love era be? Let’s take a closer look.
Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys Odds
Regular Season Recap
If we are being honest, things did not look particularly bright for the Packers in the early part of the season. They started well enough, winning 2 of their opening 3 games, but that was followed by a 4-game losing skid that had a lot of people counting them out early on. They then won one and lost one, after which they won 3 in a row to get back into the Wild Card conversation.
At this stage of the season, with the Detroit Lions running away with the division, the pressure was very much on the Packers, but things seemed to start clicking for them in the second half of the season, as they went on a run that saw them win 6 of their last 8 games. All the pressure was on in the final game of the season against the Bears, which Green Bay won to book their spot in the #7 seed in the NFC.
Bet on the Packers to Win in the Wild Card Game against Cowboys
Stats, Trends, and Odds
It was tough to know what to expect from the Packers this season, as we hadn’t really seen enough of Jordan Love to get any kind of handle on how he might perform over the course of am full season. There were certainly some growing pains, but he ended up throwing for over 4100 yards, tossing 32 TD versus 11 INT. The Packers average over 22 PPG, which had them just outside the top 10. They were in the top 10 in D, allowing just 20 PPG.
If the Packers are to make a deep run in the playoffs, they are going to need to go the tough route, as they will be on the road all the way. They had a losing record of 4-5 away from home this season, although they won a pair of road games in their 3-game win streak to end the season, so perhaps they are getting on a roll.
The downside for the Packers is that they have a tough assignment in the Wild Card, as they need to hit the road to face a Dallas Cowboys team that a lot of people like to make a deep run this season. When it comes to the conference, the Packers are the biggest longshot to win it at odds of +3300. As you might expect, they are also longshots to win it all, currently sitting at odds of +8800. I honestly don’t see them getting past the Cowboys this weekend.

Green Bay Packers 2023 Season Betting Analysis
Previous Betting News
Green Bay Packers 2023 Season Betting Analysis | MyBookie NFL Betting Preview
Green Bay Packers | 103rd season as a member of the National Football League
Owner: Green Bay Packers, Inc.
Head coach: Matt LaFleur
Home field: Lambeau Field | Green Bay, Wisconsin
For the first time since Don Majkowki and Mike Tomczak split the starting quarterback duties in 1991, someone other than Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers is QB1 in Green Bay.
The Jordan Love era begins, and no one really knows what to expect. A first-round pick was used on him three years ago, but in his one and only NFL start the Packers scored just seven points. And when it came time to exercise his fifth-year option, the team punted, and instead signed him to a very modest extension through 2024.
Let’s see if Green Bay Packers have what it takes to back the betting odds to win the Super Bowl.
Packers Futures Bets
Super Bowl Champions (+6500)
After three decades of being in the Super Bowl conversation, because they were led by a Hall of Fame quarterback, the Packers are paying just +6500 to win another Lombardi. Compare that to the +1200 the Packers were paying in the preseason last year.
At +6500, the Packers are tied with the Giants, Rams, Commanders, Raiders, and Patriots, and considered a longer favorite than the Chicago Bears.
NFC Champions (+3000)
As you would imagine, the odds of a Packers NFC championship are also quite long. At +3000, they actually trail the Atlanta Falcons, who are paying +2500.
Out of the 16 NFC teams, the Packers rank 10th. The last time the Packers were this big of a longshot to win the conference was 2006.
Last year the Packers were +500 to win the NFC during the offseason.
NFC North Champions (+500)
The NFC North has been the playground of the Packers. Since 2011 they have won the division eight times, and their last division title in 2021 was the 17th in their history.
This year, however, the Packers are just +500 to win the NFC North, which is last in the division. The Lions, Vikings, and even the Bears, all have shorter odds to win the division. The last time Green Bay finished in fourth place was 2005.
Packers Win Total 7.5 (-105)
Since 2014 the Packers have recorded double-digit wins in six of nine seasons, averaging more than 10 wins a season over that stretch. In 2023 the over/under on regular season wins for the Packers is 7.5. Considering that they won only eight games last year with Rodgers at quarterback, 7.5 may be a little high.
Based on projected win totals in 2023, Green Bay has the 14th easiest schedule in the NFL.
Weekly Packers Betting
In Week 1 the Packers travel to Chicago, and we should get a taste of the season to come that very first Sunday of the year. The Packers dominated the Bears during the Rodgers years. If the Love years begin the same way, this could be a good season in Green Bay.
The Packers are favored in six of the 17 games this season, a flip from last year when they were the favorites in 11 of the 17 games.
As the favorites in 2022, the Packers were just 4-7 against the spread. As home favorites, they were 3-4. The early season odds for Green Bay has them as home favorites four times this season, against the Saints in Week 3, the Rams in Week 9, the Buccaneers in Week 15, and the Bears in Week 18.

NFL Green Bay Packers 2023: Worth Bet Games for 2023/24 Season
Previous Betting News
For every team, there comes an end of an era, which is sometimes a change in ownership or moving on from a player that has been a fixture for years. The Green Bay Packers fall into that latter category this season, as they look to begin life without Aaron Rodgers under center. To be fair, it has felt as though Rodgers has had one foot out the door for the last 2 or 3 years, so there was a certain inevitability about his eventual move to the New York Jets. What all of that means is that this team is now in the hands of Jordan Love, whose arrival via the draft a few years back triggered the first rumblings of discontent in the Rodgers camp. The NFC North looks to be wide open this season and how Love performs could dictate where the Packers land. Let’s look at the best games on their schedule to consider in your NFL betting odds.
Green Bay Packers: Top Games to Bet in all Regular Season Week 1-17 | NFL Lines by MyBookie
NFL Regular Season: September 7, 2023 – January 7, 2024
New Orleans Saints
Week 3 Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
When: Sunday, september 24, 1:00pm ET
TV/Streaming: FOX
These two teams are in a very similar position right now, with the Saints still trying to find their starting QB after the retirement of Drew Brees. They have Derek Carr set to lead the charge this season, which could see them take a big step forward. This will be a good early measuring stick for both teams.

Detroit Lions
Week 4 Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
When: Thursday, september 28, 8:15pm ET

With this division likely to be close, all the divisional matchups are going to be huge. This is the first such game for the Packers and figures to be among the toughest given that many see the Lions as the team to beat in the North this season. It’s early in the season, but this one could set the tone for the division race.

Denver Broncos
Week 7 visit Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
When: Sunday, october 22, 4:25pm ET

It was a down season for the Broncos in 2022, but with Sean Payton now in as the head coach, there is a sense that he might get the best out of Russell Wilson as the Broncos look to bounce back. It’s never easy to go to Mile High and come away with the win, so this is sure to be a tough test for the Packers.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 10 visit Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA
When: Sunday, november 12, 1:00pm ET
TV/Streaming: CBS
The Saints and the Steelers are both, in my humble opinion, two teams that are very much in the dark horse category this season. Both have the potential to be in the playoffs, so this is another one that, at this stage of the season, could have some postseason implications.

Kansas City Chiefs
Week 13 Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
When: Sunday, december 3, 8:20pm ET
TV/Streaming: NBC
There is no better measuring stick than going against the defending Super Bowl champions, which is what the Packers will be doing in Week 13 when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. Sure, the Love/Mahomes matchup is not as great as what it would be if Rodgers was still in town, but this should still be a fun one to watch.

Minnesota Vikings
Week 17 U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
When: Sunday, december 31, 8:20pm ET

If the Packers can thrive under Love and stay in the hunt for the NFC North, this one could prove to be a massive matchup. The belief is that the Vikings will very much be in the race to win the division, so it would be great if this game was still of the meaningful variety.

2022 Green Bay Packers Betting Tips for the Upcoming NFL Season
Previous Betting News
The Green Bay Packers had an excellent 2021-2022 season. But once again, even though Aaron Rodgers won his second straight NFL MVP, the Packers failed to make it to the Super Bowl. This season, NFL experts are bullish on Green Bay. The Packers’ win-loss total is the highest in the league. Not only that, but Green Bay is a short-priced chalk to win their division and one of the favorites to win the NFC and the Super Bowl. Do the Packers offer fair NFL Betting Lines? See below for answers in our Green Bay Packers 2022 Season Sports Betting Guide.
Packers 2022 Season NFL Betting Guide to Help You Bet On Their Odds
2022-23 NFL Regular Season
When: Sep. 8, 2022 – Jan. 8, 2023
Green Bay Packers Over/Under 11 ½
To go over, Green Bay must win at least 12 games. Winning 12 won’t be that easy. In addition to playing their division games, the Packers must take on the NFC East and AFC East.
The Washington Commandeers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys should be good this season. Even the New York Giants will be a decent team.
Buffalo, Miami, and New England aren’t automatic wins. The Jets might not be, either. The Rams, Buccaneers, and Titans are also on the schedule. 11 wins is possible. Finding that twelfth victory is a chore, making under the play.
Total Game Pick: Under 11 ½
Packers to win the NFC North -187
Minnesota is good enough to challenge the Packers for the NFC North’s top spot. But the Vikings have a new coaching staff and their defense is suspect.
Neither Chicago nor Detroit are good enough to beat Green Bay. The odds, although close to -200, aren’t just fair but overlaid. The Packers should have no trouble winning the NFC North.
NFC North Odds: Overlay
Green Bay to win the NFC Conference +440
Winning the division is one thing. Winning the conference is another. Most consider Green Bay the second-best team after Tampa in the NFC.
The Rams will have a say. The defending champions are a good football team. The Saints will as well and so will the Cowboys and Eagles. +440 are underlay odds.
NFC Conference Odds: Underlay
Green Bay to Win the Super Bowl +1000
The problem with backing Green Bay is finding out who will replace Rodgers’ two favorite targets. Marquez Valdez-Scantling and Davante Adams no longer catch passes from the three-time NFL MVP.
We most also wonder about Green Bay’s defense. But although those two things are concerning, the real reason the Packers offer underlay odds to win the Super Bowl is because three teams that offer higher odds in the NFC, the Rams, the Cowboys, and the 49ers, have as much of a shot to win the Super Bowl if not a better shot.
Super Bowl Odds: Underlay
QB Aaron Rodgers to win NFL MVP +990
It’s tough to win three straight MVP trophies. In Aaron Rodgers case, it could be close to impossible.
AR lost the very best wide receiver in the NFL. Davante Adams is now a Las Vegas Raider. Without Adams catching his passes, Rodgers might not post stats in 2022 similar to his 2021 ledger.
Make no mistake, Rodgers can win the NFL MVP. But the odds suggest he’s a favorite. This season, he isn’t.

2022 NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl 56
Reasons to back Green Bay to win the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl
Before jumping on Green Bay for failing to win the NFC last season, we can’t forget that home field didn’t mean much in 2021. We were still in the middle of a pandemic, which is why Green Bay played in front of few fans.
This NFL Playoffs, there won’t be an open seat at Lambeau Field. Home field should mean a lot once the Packers start playing.
Not only does Green Bay have home field, but they get a week of rest. Players like running back Aaron Jones and linebacker De’Vondre Campbell will be one-hundred percent.
Also, Aaron Rodgers is playing with a chip on his shoulder. The future hall of fame quarterback has gotten blowback for not accepting the vaccine. In typical AR fashion, Rodgers isn’t giving in. Instead, he’s given as much as he’s gotten.
Reasons to go against Green Bay to win the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl
Although a Super Bowl winner, Rodgers hasn’t had a ton of playoff success. Aaron doesn’t always bring it during the postseason. He’s more Drew Brees than Tom Brady or Ben Roethlisberger.
Also, the Packers’ defense struggled in the second half of 2021. That could be due to injuries, but it could also be because the defense just isn’t as good as advertised.
In addition, this is just Matt LaFleur’s second foray into the post season. LaFleur made some mistakes in last season’s playoffs. Will the head coach make mistakes in the 2022 NFL Playoffs?
Final Green Bay Analysis: Are the Packers a good bet to win their conference and Super Bowl 56?
There are reasons to dislike Green Bay for sure. But there’s also a major reason to like the Packers. Of every team that made the playoffs, by far, Green Bay has been the most consistent.
The Packers can rush the ball or pass. The defense plays a bend but don’t break that led to 13 wins. Home field should be a huge factor this season, and Aaron Rodgers might be more motivated than he’s ever been to prove his doubters wrong.
Almost as important? Outside of the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is there really a team that can hang with the Packers? The Cowboys haven’t proven they’re a Super Bowl team. Matthew Stafford and the Rams have looked terrible in recent games.
Kyler Murray and the Cardinals are unproven. So are Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. At Lambeau, Green Bay can beat the 49ers and Buccaneers, which means the Packers offers fair odds to take the NFC and win the Lombardi Trophy.

A Look At The Packers And Their Odds To Win Super Bowl 50
Previous Betting News
It was a strange sort of year for the Green Bay Packers, as they struggled on both sides of the ball and had to settle for a Wild Card spot after giving up the NFC North to the Minnesota Vikings. Other than the loss of Jordy Nelson for the year before a ball was kicked, the Packer remained relatively healthy, which makes their struggles this season all the more surprising. The playoffs are like a whole new season, though, and the Packers made a great start by taking down the Redskins 35-18 in Washington in Wild Card Weekend. They are the rank outsiders at 18-1 heading into the Divisional games, but there are a few good reasons why they might be able to win Super Bowl 50.
They Got Back Their Groove
This was a team that came into the playoffs on a real downer, as they had lost the last 2 games of the regular season. They needed a morale-boosting game in order to get some of their swagger back, and it can be argued that not winning the division gave them the best shot of doing that. Getting the 5th seed meant facing the Washington Redskins as opposed to the Seattle Seahawks, which is a trade-off that any playoff team would take. The Packers looked like they were enjoying themselves last week, and while they may be 7-point dogs heading to Arizona, they must now feel as though they can win.
Betting On The Packers’ Experience…
One things that the Packers have going in their favor is an incredible wealth of playoff experience. The Cheeseheads always seem to be in there come the end of the season, and while they don’t always win, the valuable lessons that they learn from being in the postseason every year cannot be discounted. You look at the playoff experience they have compared to the Cardinals and the Panthers, and all of a sudden those 18-1 odds don’t like quite so untouchable.
… And Aaron Rodgers
If you are going to talk about playoff experience, you need to talk about Aaron Rodgers. This is a QB who already has a Super Bowl ring, not to mention MVP awards in his trophy cabinet. With Rodgers under center, this team always has a chance to win. Yes, he is without the aforementioned Jordy Nelson, but given time in the pocket, Rodgers can carve up any defense with his accuracy and power. When they Packers upped the tempo on the offense versus the Redskins, Washington looked almost powerless to stop them.
Defense, Defense
In order to get to the Super Bowl and win it, the Packers are going to need some serious input from their defense. They have the personnel to pull that off, and it would not be outside the realm of possibility to see the offensive and defensive units get on the same page over the next couple of weeks. An outside bet for sure, but not an awful one by any means.

Green Bay Packers Team Analysis
In Matt LaFleur’s first season as a head coach, his former team, the L.A. Rams, missed the playoffs while his new team, the Packers, grabbed the 2-seed in the playoffs. That means LaFleur is a winning hire. How did LaFleur pull it off? It helps that he’s got a hall-of-fame quarterback under center. But the real reason that LaFleur and the Packers will host a Divisional Playoff game is because of Green Bay’s defense.
The Packers’ defense was one of the NFL’s great revelations this season. Everyone expected that after they got on the same page, Rodgers and LaFleur would find success. Most didn’t expect that the defense would play the way it has.
Green Bay allows 19.6 points per. That ranks 9th in the league. What’s interesting is that the Packers rank in the bottom half of the league in yards allowed each game. Opponents average 352.8 total yards. Green Bay gives up 232.6 passing yards and 120.1 rushing yards.
That means one thing: Green Bay forces field goals in the red zone. When Green Bay gets the ball, Rodgers takes his time. He was more Bart Starr than Brett Favre this season when completing 62% of his passes and throwing for 4,002 yards.
It’s a winning formula for Green Bay. So much so, that the Packers are the third choice to win the NFC.
Are +325 fair odds on the Packers to win the NFC?
Green Bay’s defense stepped it up in December. The offense didn’t. The Packers beat the Giants 31-13 on Dec. 1. But, the offense didn’t generate 30 points or more in any game after. In fact, in the following 4 games, Green Bay managed no more than 23 points. This includes scoring 23 against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 29th.
That spells trouble for Green Bay. Unless Minnesota upsets New Orleans on Sunday, the Packers must face the Saints on Jan. 12. That’s a recipe for disaster because the Saints scored 46, 34, 38, and 42 in their final 4 games in the regular season. Green Bay won’t keep up with New Orleans even if it’s raining at Lambeau.
The odds on Green Bay to win the NFC are underlay odds.
Are +1000 fair odds on the Packers to win the Super Bowl?
Green Bay should have trouble beating the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, or Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs. All 4 of those teams have advantages Green Bay doesn’t have.
If the Packers make the Super Bowl, most teams in the AFC can beat them. Green Bay is a good football team. But they don’t have a single advantage over the Titans, Bills, Chiefs, Patriots, or Ravens. Even at +1000, odds aren’t fair on Green Bay to win the Super Bowl.

Why Bet on the Packers
The best reason to back the Green Bay Packers (10-6 SU, 9-6 ATS) is that they are the hottest team in the playoffs as they ride their six-game winning streak into battle. Not only that, but the Packers have a player I believe is the best at his position in veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers and one that can almost single-handedly beat either overmatched or overly confident opponents with the greatest of ease.
Another great reason to bet on the Packers this postseason is that have an explosive offense that has only gotten better in recent weeks as wide receiver Ty Montgomery has found a new home as the starting running back.
The Pack have scored 30 points or more in four straight games and finished the regular season ranked eighth in total offense and a stellar fourth in scoring (27.0 ppg). More good reasons to bet on Green Bay this postseason are the Packers’ eye-opening ATS trends. The Packers are 4-0 ATS in their last four Wildcard games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and a near-perfect 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.
Why Bet Against the Green Bay Packers
The No. 1 reason to bet against the Packers this postseason is their mediocre defense. Green Bay finished the regular season ranked 22nd in total defense (363.9 ypg), a pitiful 31st against the pass (269.2 ypg) and 21st in points allowed (24.2 ppg). Despite their recent winning streak, the Packers will enter the postseason having allowed at least 24 points in each of their last three games, including two matchups against the offensively-challenged Chicago Bears and Vikings and that should be cause for worry.
