Los Angeles Rams Season Odds Prop Rundown

Last season, the Los Angeles Rams surprised everybody.

The Rams discovered a couple of playmakers on offense, running back Kyren Williams and wide receiver Puka Nucua, that led to a playoff run.

Although Los Angeles failed to move past the wildcard round, the stage is set for the Rams to have a terrific 2024-2025 NFL season.

From a betting perspective, are the Rams worth a look to win the NFC West, their conference, and the Super Bowl?

Check out NFL odds, analysis, and betting advice in this Los Angeles Rams Season odds prop rundown.

L.A. Rams Season Odds Prop Rundown

2024 L.A. Rams Win Total: 10.5

  • Over 8.5 wins -144 vs Under 8.5 wins +118

The Rams should win at least 9 games.

L.A. will sweep the Cardinals and the Seahawks for 4 wins.

Road victories over the Saints, Patriots, and Bears should happen.

Home wins versus the Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings should also happen.

There’s a chance the Rams win 10 or 11 games if they can upset the 49ers at home and beat the Bills or Dolphins at home.

Rams to win the NFC West +330

It’s tough to back the Rams to win the NFC West because the San Francisco 49ers are a fantastic football team.

However, Los Angeles has an improved defense even though Aaron Donald, a first ballot hall of fame player, retired.

Jared Verse is going to have a stellar rookie campaign.

Not only that, but if Cooper Kupp stays healthy throughout the season, the Rams’ offense will flourish big time.

If SF takes a backward step, Los Angeles will be there to pick up the pieces.

Rams to win the NFC Conference +1400

The odds seem light, but there’s a reason why.

The Rams are one of the top teams in the National Football Conference.

Not only that, but the NFC West boast a couple of doormat teams that both the 49ers and Rams should dominate, the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks.

If the Rams can get on a hot streak, and San Francisco suffers a let down season, LAR could win the NFC West.

Once they make the playoffs, the Rams should be better positioned to move forward.

So give the Rams a chance to make it back to their first Super Bowl since 2019.

QB Matthew Stafford to win NFL MVP +3000

The ageless Matthew Stafford is one of the top quarterbacks to play in the NFL in the past 20 years.

He’s a hall of fame player for sure.

But Staff won’t post the necessary stats to beat Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Jared Goff, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, or Dak Prescott and win the NFL MVP.

Not that Staff cares. All he wants to do is win another Super Bowl ring.

WR Puka Nucua to Win NFL Offensive Player of the Year +3500

Puka Nacua’s rookie season was sensational.

If C.J. Stroud hadn’t led the Houston Texans to the playoffs, Nacua would have won NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

Puka caught 105 passes for 1,486 yards and 6 touchdowns.

He’s going to have to post much better stats to win the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award.

Puca could, though, because Cooper Kupp will be healthy and defenses must pay attention to Kupp. Consider a bet on Nucua to grab the trophy.

SLB Jared Verse to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year +1000

Losing Aaron Donald is a big blow to the Rams’ defense.

Donald was one of the best, if not the best, NFL defensive linemen in history. So his loss should have an impact.

Still, the Rams are in good spirits because they managed to draft one of the better college linebackers from last season, Florida State’s Jared Verse.

The FSU star will play alongside Ernest Jones IV, one of the top linebackers in the league.

Jared should have a great rookie season. Verse is a solid play to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Los Angeles Rams to win Super Bowl 2025 +3000

If everything comes together, the Los Angeles Rams will make the playoffs.

So at the odds, the Rams for sure is a must consider to win Super Bowl 2025.

If things really come together, the offensive line gels, the defense doesn’t take too much of a backward step after Donald’s retirement, Nucua improves off his rookie season and Kyren Williams develops into one of the NFL’s top running backs, the Rams could win the Super Bowl for sure.

Few coaches can outmaneuver Sean McVay while Matthew Stafford proved he’s still got enough in the tank to lead a team to the playoffs.

Give the Rams a better chance to win the Super Bowl than the odds indicate.

Winning the Super Bowl is one of the toughest tasks in all of professional sports, but getting back to the top after winning it is tougher still. 2024 MyBookie Sportsbook NFL Odds, American Football NFL Lines | LA Rams Postseason Betting Analysis

Very often, teams break the bank to build a championship team before being forced to break it all down and essentially start again once the Lombardi Trophy is in the building. We have seen a lot of teams win a championship and then need to wait years to even get close again, which is where the LA Rams are currently sitting. It’s easy to forget that they are just a couple of years removed from winning a championship, but with last season being such a grind, they were rather quickly forgotten. The Rams are looking to bounce back this year, making it into the postseason as the #6 seed. How far can they go? Let’s take a closer look at the Rams.

Detroit Lions vs Los Angeles Rams Odds

Regular Season Recap

Looking back on the regular season, the Rams looked like two totally different teams when you compare the second half of the season to the first. They opened things up with a win over the Seahawks, but then went on to lose 6 of their next 8 games. No one really gave them much of a chance when they were sitting at 3-6, but things turned around rather dramatically.

After suffering 3 straight defeats, the Rams found themselves back at .500 after winning 3 in a row, only to drop below that bar again with a loss to the Ravens in a game that was an absolute thriller. By this point, the Rams were back in the Wild Card picture, but they needed a strong finish to the year, which is exactly what they got, closing things out by winning each of their final 4 games of the season. They are now on the kind of run that makes them a very dangerous prospect heading into the postseason.

Bet on the Rams to Win in the Wild Card Game against Lions

Stats, Trends, and Odds

It was very much a return to form for Matthew Stafford this season, as he tossed just shy of 4,000 yards on the season, averaging 249 YPG through the air, good for 10th overall in the league. The Rams sat just outside the top 10 in YPG on the ground (120), while scoring just shy of 24 PPG (8th overall). The defense allowed over 22 PPG, leaving them down in the bottom half of the league in that particular category.

There is a lot to like about the Rams Wild Card matchup against the Lions, as both QBs will be going against their former employers. It’s going to be a tough trip for the Lions, though, as they were just 5-4 on the road this season, although they did win back-to-back road games to close out the regular season.

There are a lot of folks who like Detroit’s chances of making a deep run, which is why the Rams find themselves in as a longshot to win the conference at odds of +1600. It is much the same story with the Super Bowl odds, where the Rams are currently listed at +3300. The way they closed out the season, though, makes this team look very dangerous indeed.

Even though the Rams failed to beat the San Francisco 49ers in NFL Week 18, LAR still won the NFC West Division because the Arizona Cardinals lost to the Seattle Seahawks. Heading into the playoffs, questions surround Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, and the rest of the Rams. At their current NFC Championship odds, are the Rams an overlay or underlay? Also, do the Rams offer fair odds to win the Super Bowl? Keep reading for our take on the Rams so you can get ready to make your bets against the NFL Playoffs odds.

Los Angeles Rams Postseason Betting Analysis

2022 NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl 56

When: Saturday, Jan. 15 – Sunday, Feb. 13

Los Angeles Rams Odds to Win the Conference and Super Bowl 56

Los Angeles Rams Odds to Win the NFC: +470

Los Angeles Rams Odds to Win Super Bowl 56: +870

Reasons to back the Los Angeles Rams to win the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl

Matthew Stafford ranks in the Top 5 in passing yards, but LAR’s real strength is on the other side of the football. As long as Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey step onto the field, the Rams will send one of the top three defenses in the playoffs to the gridiron.

Donald had 12.5 sacks while Ramsey had 4 interceptions. Overall, the defense allows less than 345 total yards and less than 22 points per.

When Stafford and the offense have the ball, the former Detroit Lions can throw to the best wide receiver in the league, Cooper Kupp. The possible NFL MVP caught 145 passes for 1,947 yard and 16 TDs.

Kupp is even more dangerous than he was earlier in the season now that Odell Beckham Jr. is familiar with the system. Beckham Jr. is impossible to cover 1-on-1, which means secondaries must choose between allowing Odell or Cooper to play in single coverage matchups.

Reasons to go against the Los Angeles Rams to win the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl

At times, the Rams have mental lapses that make them a mediocre bunch. Los Angeles loses focus as a team and when that happens the Rams lose.

2 of the Rams’ 5 losses occurred against the rival 49ers. The Cardinals beat the Rams once. The Packers beat LAR and so did the Titans.

All 5 losses happened against playoff teams, which means the Rams are competitive. But many of the losses shouldn’t have happened and 2 of the losses were pathetic: 37-20 at home against Arizona, and 30-10 on the road against the 49ers.

Los Angeles also blew a 17-point lead against San Francisco in Week 18. If the Rams can keep their collective heads together, they can win the Lombardi Trophy. But there’s no guarantee that happens.

Final LAR Analysis: Are the Rams a good bet to win their conference and Super Bowl 56?

On paper, the Rams should have no trouble beating anybody. Donald is one of the best defensive linemen in history. Ramsey is on his way to being one of the NFL’s best ever defensive backs.

The rest of the defense compliments the two superstars and coach Sean McVay has been here before. He knows how to get a team to the Super Bowl.

But although McVay has been here before, Matthew Stafford hasn’t. Don’t get us wrong, Stafford is a legit first-string NFL quarterback. But at times this season, Staff hasn’t made the right decision.

Not only that, but the Rams’ ridiculously difficult schedule may have taken too much out of the team. LAR had to play against the 49ers, Cardinals, and Seahawks twice. The out of division schedule included games versus the Colts, Buccaneers, Titans, Ravens, and Vikings.

So even though the Rams lost just 5 of their 17 games this season, LAR may be too tired to make it all the way to the Super Bowl. At the odds, the Rams are a play against.

NFL Betting – Los Angeles Rams Calendar Odds & Analysis For the 2021-22 Season

The NFL season is still a few months away, but now is a great time to begin prep for 2021. The NFL schedule is released, 2021 odds for Super Bowl winners and division winners are now up for bettors, and training camp is right around the corner.

Today we’ll take a look at the Los Angeles Rams schedule, NFL odds, and more for the 2021 season.

Los Angeles Rams: 2020 Season Recap

The Rams had a strong 2020 season, finishing 10-6 and beating rival Seattle in the Wild Card round. The success started with a strong defense led by star Aaron Donald.

The offense took a step back from its explosive play in years past. To remedy that, the Rams made a big trade this offseason, shipping quarterback Jared Goff to Detroit in exchange for Matthew Stafford.

Stafford is certainly an upgrade and will be tasked with meshing with the loaded offensive weapons in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Rams: Odds for 2021

MyBookie has you covered for all things NFL betting. On the site, you can find every available bet for the Rams, from Week 1 odds to Super Bowl LVI odds and everything in between.

Los Angeles is tied for the third-best odds in the NFL to win the Super Bowl, at +1100.

They also have the third-best odds to win the NFC, at +550.

In a loaded division, the Rams have the second-best odds to win the NFC West, at +180.

Los Angeles Rams: 2021 Schedule

As mentioned, there’s no division tougher in football than the NFC West. San Francisco is the betting favorite to win the division despite coming in fourth last season. The Niners suffered an inordinate amount of injuries and should be healthy in 2021, just a year removed from making a Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will always be competitive, finishing 12-4 last season. The Arizona Cardinals should also be better this season after bolstering the defense in the offseason.

The Rams will draw another tough division in the AFC West. The Chiefs remain one of the league’s best teams, the Chargers and Justin Herbert are set to take a leap in Year 2, and the Broncos have a secretly loaded roster.

Los Angeles will also play the NFC North, which starts with question marks around the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. If Rodgers leaves Green Bay, the division suddenly isn’t too menacing, with the Bears and their rookie quarterback, the Vikings‘ poor defense, and the Lions‘ all-around awfulness.

Rounding out the schedule is defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay, the New York Giants, and Indianapolis.

The teams on Los Angeles’s schedule:

2021 Season Prediction

On paper, this is one of the tougher schedules in the NFL. The Rams draw both Super Bowl participants from 2020, multiple other strong teams in the Colts, Chargers, Broncos, and Packers, and two games apiece against a loaded NFC West.

Despite this, the Rams are, and rightfully so, a favorite to win the Super Bowl this season.

The addition of Matthew Stafford may likely be the missing piece for this Rams team. They have an elite defense and a loaded receiver room. Add in skilled play-caller Sean McVay running the show, and Los Angeles has all the makings of a Super Bowl champion.

Consider betting them to win a Super Bowl +1100 on MyBookie; 2021 should be a strong season for the Rams.

Los Angeles Rams NFL Odds After Free Agency Week 1

Previous Betting News

Few teams entered this offseason in worse salary-cap space than the Los Angeles Rams, and that problem already has cost them former All-Pro running back Todd Gurley. Here’s an overview of the Los Angeles Rams and their NFL Odds as it stands.

Los Angeles Rams NFL Odds After Free Agency Week 1

2019 recap

The Rams of course were NFC champions in the 2018 season but lost 13-3 to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. L.A. was still in playoff contention last year in Week 16 when it visited San Francisco with an 8-7 record, but the Rams lost 34-31 and that was that. Jimmy Garoppolo converting a pair of conversions on third-and-16 to set up Robbie Gould’s game-winning 33-yard field goal with no time left to eliminate the Rams from playoff contention.

The team would finish a respectable 9-7 by beating Arizona 31-24 in the final NFL game in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Although the Coliseum isn’t going anywhere, the Rams are heading south to palatial SoFi Stadium in Inglewood this season. Since the Rams first arrived from Cleveland in 1946, the Coliseum has hosted three NFL championship games, two Super Bowls and 23 Pro Bowls, along with the Rams and Raiders.

Los Angeles Rams offseason moves

By far the most shocking move was the Rams cutting lose 2017 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley, the team’s star tailback. The Rams had good intentions when they signed Gurley in 2018 to the richest running back contract in league history — a four-year, $60 million extension that included $45 million in guarantees. At the time of the extension, Gurley had two seasons remaining on his rookie contract.

However, that contract became an albatross as Gurley regressed big time in 2019 and has bad knees. Gurley averaged 3.8 yards per carry last season, and didn’t produce a single play longer than 25 yards. Gurley has scored 70 touchdowns in his first five NFL seasons, which is tied with Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice for fourth among all players after five seasons.

L.A. tried to trade Gurley but something is clearly not right with Gurley’s knee, and without the ability to give him a full medical on short notice in light of the coronavirus outbreak, teams weren’t going to run the risk of assuming significant guarantees. The Rams released Gurley with a post-June 1 designation. That means the Rams will spread the dead-money cap charges ($11.75 million) over two seasons. The team will also see $5.5 million in cap savings that becomes available on June 2.

Los Angeles also dumped linebacker Clay Matthews to save money. Matthews played 13 games last season and had eight sacks, his most since 2014. He was sidelined for three games after suffering a broken jaw in Week 5 against the Seahawks. The Rams saved nearly $4 million in cap space by cutting him.

There’s talk the Rams aren’t done as they are shopping high-paid receiver Brandin Cooks. He averaged five-year lows in yards per game (41.6) and yards per target (8.1) in 2019, although Jared Goff’s regression and the offensive line’s issues in pass protection didn’t help. Cooks’ concussion history could be an issue, but he’s managed to play in 88-of-96 regular season games since entering the league in 2014.

The Rams did add two defensive linemen in Leonard Floyd and A’Shawn Robinson. Robinson never really realized his potential in Detroit with just five career sacks. He should be the first man up to replace Michael Brockers next to Aaron Donald. Floyd had just three sacks last year with Chicago. The 28-year-old is also already familiar with new Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley’s scheme from their time together with the Bears the past two seasons.

Left tackle Andrew Whitworth was re-signed. The 38-year-old blindside protector has contemplated retirement the past several seasons but returned to provide stability to the Rams O-line. The veteran has solidified the Rams left side the past three seasons after spending his first 11 years with the Cincinnati Bengals. While Whitworth’s play dipped slightly at points last season, he remains a stalwart pass blocker, giving up just one sack in 2019.

2020 opponents

Los Angeles Rams 2019 NFL Season Betting Guide

Previous Betting News

Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams might have needed one of the worst blown calls in NFL history to reach Super Bowl 53 last season, but once they got there, opposite the perennially-powerful New England Patriots, they failed in epic fashion while never challenging Tom Brady and company.

Now, after getting man-handled by the Pats to cap off last season, it remains to be seen whether the Rams – and quarterback Jared Goff in particular – had their collective psyches damage by New England. Whether the Rams reach the double-0digit win mark for the third straight season under head coach Sean McVay or whether they take a step backwards remains to be seen, but there are several things you need to know about the Rams before they take to the gridiron for the upcoming 2019 NFL regular season. Let’s find out what those things are right now.

Los Angeles Rams 2019 NFL Season Betting Guide

Betting Statistics

ATS: 13-3 (W-L) / 7-8-1 (ATS) / 3-4-1 (Home) / 4-4-0 (Away) / 6-6-1 (Grass) / 1-2-0 (Turf)
O/U: 8-8-0 (W-L) / 6-2-0 (Home) / 2-6-0 (Away) / 6-7-0 (Grass) / 2-1-0 (Turf) / 56.9 (Total)

While the Rams went a stellar 13-3 SU last season, they also struggled to cover the chalk by going 7-8-1 ATS. The Rams cashed in just three times at home a year ago, so despite their prolific scoring, they didn’t come through for their betting backers very often last season. In addition to that, L.A.’s propensity for putting points on the board didn’t help them play Over the total more often than not as the Rams finished a dead-even 8-8 against the O/U Total.

Offense

Thanks to McVay’s offensive genius, the Rams finished the 2018 season ranked second in total offense, fifth in passing, third in rushing and second in scoring (32.9 ppg). While the Rams didn’t lose much in free agency and clearly don’t have many needs on the offensive side of the ball, they did add former Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles to backup Jared Goff, although I have no idea why they’d want a guy that has shown he’s nothing more than mediocre in every way.

Defense

Unfortunately, they fell way short of expectations defensively despite acquiring several veterans that were supposed to put them over the top. L.A. ranked an uninspiring 19th in total defense and an even more discouraging 20th in points allowed (24.0 ppg). To address their needs on the defensive side of the ball, the Rams signed former Packers longtime linebacker Clay Matthews and veteran safety Eric Weddle in free agency, while re-signing play-making linebacker Dante Fowler. In addition to that, L.A. also nabbed Washington safety Taylor Rapp in the second round before selecting Michigan cornerback David Long in the third round and Washington defensive tackle Greg Gaines in the fourth round.

Team Leaders

Jared Goff passed for 4,688 yards while completing 64.9 percent of his passes and tossing 32 TD passes and a modest 12 interceptions. Wide receiver Robert Woods led the team in receiving yards, although Brandin Cooks had just six fewer catches and just 15 less yards. Superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald was his usual unstoppable self in leading the league in sacks while safety John Johnson III led the team in interceptions in just his second season.Despite missing two games and getting less than 15 carries in a half-dozen games, star running back Todd Gurley led the team in touchdowns scored and rushing yards. Mysteriously, Gurley got just 30 carries over three playoff games this past postseason, including just four in the NFC Championship game against New Orleans.

Outlook

While I love the job that Sean McVay has done with the Rams in his two seasons at the helm, I don’t think anyone really knows what to expect out of this team seeing how they underachieved at a high level defensively last season and they way they got dominated by New England in Super Bowl 53.

In addition to two tough matchups against their NFC West division rival Seattle, the Rams have a trio of tough contests against NFC South residents, New Orleans, Carolina and Atlanta, not to mention what should be a greatly improved Tampa Bay squad. Not only that, but the Rams have what looks like another three difficult non-division matchups against AFC North playoff contenders, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland. I say temper your expectations for Los Angeles in 2019, they could take a slight step backwards.

While I’ve got the Rams coming up just short of topping their win total odds, It’s quite possible they could beat Pittsburgh on the road in Week 10 and Chicago at hoe a week later, not to mention, Dallas in Week 15. Either way, I believe it’s going to be a close call for the Rams as far as their win total odds are concerned.

Los Angeles Rams 2018 NFL Postseason Betting AnalysisThe Los Angeles Rams finished off the 2018-2019 NFL Regular Season with a fantastic 48-32 victory over the rival San Francisco 49ers. The Rams’ defense forced 3 interceptions on San Francisco’s first 3 drives. The game was over after that.

Los Angeles Rams 2018 NFL Postseason Betting AnalysisLos Angeles gets to take the NFL Wildcard Round off. The bye should do wonders for the Rams who, notwithstanding the win in Week 17, showed signs of weariness in the final regular season month. L.A. should be fresh when facing their opponent in the NFC Divisional Round.

Because the Rams are the 2-seed they’ll face the highest seeded opponent left in the NFC. Keep reading for a break down of the Rams chances against the spread versus any opponent they face in the Divisional Round. Also read about the Rams’ chances to cover if they make it to the NFC Championship.

Los Angeles Rams 2018 NFL Postseason Betting Analysis

Rams Regular Season Record Against the Spread

Although the Los Angeles Rams went a terrific 13-3 straight up, their against the spread record left something to be desired. Los Angeles went a losing 7-8-1 ATS on the season. What’s really disturbing about the Rams’ against the spread record is how they started the season going 3-0 ATS.

L.A. beat and covered against the Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, and Los Angeles Chargers. They appeared on their way to ATS super stardom, but then things went the opposite way. The Rams would go 4-8-1 ATS in their final 13 games.

The good news about the Rams’ against the spread record is that they went 3-2 ATS in their final 5 games. The bad news is that the 2 ATS losses were against the 2 best teams they played, the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears.

Los Angeles Rams’ NFC Divisional Playoff ATS Prospects

The reason it’s important to note that the Rams failed against the spread versus the Eagles and Bears, heck, the Rams lost both games straight up, is because there’s a major chance Los Angeles faces the Chicago Bears in the NFC Divisional Round.

The Bears are the 3-seed in the NFC Playoffs. If Chicago beats the Eagles on Sunday in the second NFC Wildcard matchup, the Rams would take on the Bears in Los Angeles the following week.

If the Eagles beat Chicago, the Rams would take on the winner of Seattle versus the Dallas Cowboys, the first NFC Wildcard matchup. The Bears beat the Rams 15-6 on Dec. 9. Chicago dominated the Rams’ offense.

Los Angeles would have a difficult time covering against the Chicago Bears. If they manage to play the Seattle Seahawks they might have an easier time because the Rams beat the Seahawks twice this season. Then again, beating a team 3 times in the same season is difficult. Los Angeles might not cover in that game, either.

The Rams should cover the spread against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys’ defense hasn’t been great in the final 3 regular season games while Dallas won’t keep up with the Rams’ offense.

Los Angeles Rams’ NFC Championship ATS Prospects

Unless the team that the Saints battle in the Divisional Round upsets them, the Rams must travel to New Orleans for the NFC Championship. New Orleans beat Los Angeles during the regular season. It’s difficult to see the Rams beating the Saints on the road in the Superdome. They probably won’t even keep it close.

Bottom Line: Be Wary of Backing Rams Against the Spread

The Rams best chance of covering a playoff game spread is if they face the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams could face the Cowboys in either the NFC Divisional Round, or NFC Championship. The chances of either happening are less than even because the Cowboys must first beat Seattle and then beat the New Orleans Saints while the Eagles must upset the Bears in the NFC Wildcard Round.

Other than Dallas, the Rams will have a tough time covering against any of the other 4 teams in the NFC Playoffs: the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Seattle Seahawks

With the Los Angeles Rams drafting quarterback Jared Goff with the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and moving to a new city, they’ve got to be poised to cash in more often than not against their NFL Lines right? Let’s find out thanks to the expert analysis you’re about to get on Goff and the Rams as they get set for the upcoming 2016 NFL regular season.

Taking a Closer Look at L.A Rams Top NFL Spreads for 2016 Season

Week 4

Los Angeles at Arizona Cardinals (-7)

Analysis: I k now Los Angeles has lost four of their last five meetings against the superior Cardinals, but they also managed to split both of last season’s two regular season meetings while beating the Cards on the road 24-22 as an identical 7-point road dog tat they re in this Week 4 NFC West divisional showdown. I’m going to back the Rams, led by their elite defensive line, to pressure Carson Palmer into a rough afternoon while covering the spread in a closer-than- expected loss.

The Pick: Arizona 27 Los Angeles 21

Week 11

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles (-2)

Analysis: The Rams haven’t met the Dolphins since 2012, but they’ll be looking to snap a three-game losing streak against the Fins and I believe now is the perfect time for them to do just that.

The Dolphins lost their final two road games a year ago and four of their last five road dates overall while failing to cover the spread in each SU loss. Conversely, the Rams went 2-0 SU and ATS over their last two home games in 2015 and 4-2 SU and ATS over their last six.

More importantly, whoever starts at quarterback for the Rams in this Week 11 affair will likely be better than Miami’s Ryan Tannehill. Back the Rams to win and cash in!

The Pick: Los Angeles 28 Miami 24

Week 13

Los Angeles at New England Patriots (-9)

Analysis: I know the Rams have lost four straight against the Patriots dating back o 2002 while going 1-3 ATS over the span, but I like L.A.’s powerful defensive line to get after Tom Brady in this Week 13 affair to keep the final score inside double digits. While New England has gone 9-1 SU in its last 10 games as a favorite of eight points or more, the Pats are also just 2-2 ATS over their last four such games and their pass-heavy offense should play right into the Rams; biggest strength – their pass rush. No, L.A. won’t win outright, but I like them to cover the spread.

The Pick: New England 27 Los Angeles 20

Week 15

Los Angeles at Seattle Seahawks (-10)

Analysis: The Rams are clearly inferior to the elite Seattle Seahawks, but L.A. has given Russell Wilson and company the toughest time the last couple of seasons. Los Angeles won both of last season’s NFC West divisional dates against Seattle while covering the spread each time and have won three of the last four meetings overall while covering their online NFL lines in each SU win. With the Rams going 6-2 ATS against Seattle over the last eight meetings, I say, don’t be shocked when L.A. covers in this Week 15 clash!

The Pick: Seattle 27 Los Angeles 20

Previous Betting News

It remains to be seen whether or not the Los Angeles Rams made a mistake by drafting former Cal quarterback Jared Goff with the No. 1 overall pick a year ago while possibly compounding their mistake by hiring the youngest head coach in NFL history this offseason.

Whether or not the Rams’ brass made a mistake by drafting Goff and hiring Sean McVay, there are a handful of must-bet games dotting L.A.’s 2017 schedule that no football betting enthusiast should miss out on.

Thanks to some expert analysis on a half-dozen matchups that fit the ‘must-bet’ bill, you’re going to have a great chance to cash in on at least six Rams games this coming season. Let’s get started.

A Closer Look At The Los Angeles Rams Football Betting Guide And Favorites

Week 2

Redskins (-2) at Rams
I’m interested in this Week 2 matchup if only because new Rams head coach Scott McVay will be going up against his former team in a matchup that I expect to be a high-scoring shootout. The former Skins offensive coordinator gets his first win in this contest!

Pick: Rams 31 Redskins 28

Week 4

Rams at Cowboys (-12.5)
This Week 4 clash won’t be very competitive since Dallas is much better than Los Angeles at the moment. However, I’m interested to see just how Jared Goff performs opposite Dak Prescott, one of two quarterbacks that the Rams should have clearly taken before their former Cal star with the No. 1 overall pick. Still, I’m thinking the Rams will narrowly cover the spread.

Pick: Cowboys 35 Rams 24

Week 5

Seahawks (-6) at Rams
For me, this Week 5 NFC West divisional battle will be very revealing if only because the Rams gave Seattle the hardest way to go under former head coach Jeff Fisher – even if they did go belly up against almost everyone else during his now bygone era. The Seahawks will get the road win and easy ATS cover by scaring the hell out of what I believe will be a shaky Jared Goff.

Pick: Seahawks 28 Rams 17

Week 6

Rams at Jaguars (-3.5)
This Week 6 matchup has to be one of the few games that Los Angeles is circling on their calendar as a game they should win. I’m going to advise you to back the Rams for one big reason. While Jared Goff looked pretty mediocre as a rookie after getting off the bench late last season, Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles has looked that way for the vast majority of the last three seasons. L.A. holds it down at home people!

Pick: Rams 28 Jaguars 27

Week 12

Saints (-2) at Rams
I’m thinking this Week 12 matchup against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints is a must-bet matchup if only because Brees is going to light it up in an effort to teach L.A.’s Jared Goff how to really play the quarterback position. The Saints cruise to victory in something of a high-scoring affair.

Pick: Saints 38 Rams 24

Week 14

Eagles (-1.5) at Rams
This Week 14 matchup will be a good football betting test to see just how fare Goff has come seeing as how he’ll be going up against Philly’s Carson Wentz, the guy drafted right behind the No. 1 overall pick. Unfortunately for the Rams, Wentz looked light years ahead of Goff last season.

Pick: Eagles 31 Rams 23
