The Patriots can’t get out of their own way, which is why New England has just 2 victories on the season. But there have been signs that New England is on the right track. Washington lost an emotional, tight home game versus the rival Eagles. For sure, D.C. bounces in a bad direction while New England should prove they’re on a slightly higher level than squads like the Commanders.

Arizona doesn’t have enough good players to beat a team like the Cleveland Browns. But Cleveland’s vaunted defense gave up 24 points, 254 Geno Smith passing yards, and 114 rushing yards to the Seahawks in a loss. Why is that important? It’s important because Arizona’s offense can move the football. Browns win by 3 to 6.

L.A. Chargers at New York Jets +105

The Ravens Bills could end up slight underdogs in this. It won’t matter. Cincinnati has hit their stride. Joe Burrow torched the 49ers’ secondary and the defense made life difficult for Brock Purdy and the SF offense. Bengals win.

The Chargers bounced back from a terrible loss to Kansas City in NFL Week 7 to destroy the Chicago Bears in NFL Week 8. However, LAC is a bad road squad and the Jets are on a 3-game winning streak.

Then again, Philadelphia’s secondary is okay but not great and the Eagles’ linebackers don’t always step it up. Also, if any defender in the league can run down Hurts, it’s Micah Parsons. Dallas can pull off the upset win.
