Top NBA Betting Value Games of the Week (Nov. 19th – Nov. 20th)

NBA Weekend Games

  • When: Friday, Nov. 19 – Sunday, Nov. 20

Los Angeles Lakers at Boston Celtics

  • When: Friday, Nov. 19

The Boston Celtics have rolled against the spread. After starting the season going 0-3 ATS, from Nov. 3 through Nov. 15, the Celtics won 5-of-7 straight up and 7 straight against the spread.

Jaylen Brown won’t return until next week, which is okay because Jayson Tatum and Al Horford have held down the fort. The Lakers went 5-10 ATS in their first 15 games. It doesn’t look like LAL is turning it around any time soon, making Boston the team to back against the spread.

NBA Pick: Boston Celtics

Dallas Mavericks at Phoenix Suns

  • When: Friday, Nov. 19

Dallas versus Phoenix is always a tough matchup, mainly, because both teams can light up the scoreboard. On Friday, the Suns should have the edge.

Phoenix has gone 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS. Whatever Luka provides on the offensive end, Booker will match. Also, Dallas plays this after beating the Denver Nuggets 111-101 in their last. There’s a good chance the Mavericks bounce.

NBA Pick: Phoenix Suns

Miami Heat at Washington Wizards

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 20

Heading into their Nov. 17 game versus the Charlotte Hornets, the Washington Wizards were 10-3 on the moneyline and 9-4 against the spread. D.C. looks like they’re for real.

But on Saturday, the Wizards play a team in Miami that can match their defensive intensity and has a couple of more options on offense.

D.C. relies on Bradley Beal for points. If Bradley doesn’t score, the Wizards have trouble.

Miami can go to Tyler Herro, Kyler Lowry, or Duncan Robinson. If Bam Adebayo plays, he’s another offensive option. Heat all the way.

NBA Pick: Miami Heat

Philadelphia 76ers at Portland Trail Blazers

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 20

On Nov. 16, Philadelphia played the Utah Jazz. It wasn’t pretty. Donovan Mitchell only scored 13, but somehow the Sixers lost 120-85.

Things don’t get easier for struggling Philadelphia. On Thursday, the 76ers take on the Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

Even if the Sixers win that game, they should lose against Portland. The Blazers backcourt of C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard should dominate Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry. Portland wins and covers.

NBA Pick: Portland Trail Blazers

Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Clippers

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 21

Kawhi Leonard remains out. So on Sunday, we must settle for Luka Doncic versus Paul George. We know how good Doncic has played this season.

PG-13 has played better. Right now, Paul George is making a case for the league MVP. George averages 27 points, 5.1 assists, and 8.2 rebounds. He’s taken charge of the Clippers

Because of that, LAC sported a 9-5 winning record heading into their Thursday night game versus Memphis. Luka and the Mavericks face a long weekend. Clippers cover.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles Clippers

Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns

  • When: Sunday, Nov. 21

Nikola Jokic is unstoppable. But even when Jokic posts huge stats, 35 points and 16 rebounds like he did versus the Mavericks on Nov. 15, the Nuggets can lose.

Phoenix has become one of the best teams in the NBA. The Suns will bring a 9-game winning streak into their Friday contest versus Dallas. Unless Phoenix suffers a major injury in that game, they should handle the Nuggets on Sunday. Phoenix provides a cover victory.

NBA Pick: Phoenix Suns
