Every December 25, the NBA has a 5-game festival. This year, ABC and ESPN will broadcast every one of the five games. Three of the five show up on this NBA Week 10 ATS list. The list starts off with the Chicago Bulls at Miami Heat game on Tuesday and ends with the final game on Christmas Day, Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets. With that in mind, let’s jump right in to our NBA Betting predictions and against the spread picks for the best week 10 games.
ATS Betting Picks for the Best NBA Week 10 Matches to Wager On
2022 NBA Week 10
- When: Monday, Dec. 19 – Sunday, 25
Chicago Bulls at Miami Heat | Tuesday, Dec. 20
The Bulls are 2-7 ATS in their last 9. In the previous head-to-head, though, Chicago handled Miami 116-108 in a cover victory.
Miami has won 4 straight. Still, it’s difficult to back the Heat to cover what should be an underlay spread because although they’ve won games, the Heat are just 2-1-1 ATS in their last 4.
NBA ATS Pick: Chicago Bulls
Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics | Wednesday, Dec. 21
Boston has lost 4-of-5, including back-to-back games versus the Orlando Magic. The losing streak makes the C’s a suspect play to take down the Pacers on Wednesday, much less cover the spread.
Not only that, but in the last head-to-head, Indiana pushed the Celtics in a 128-123 loss. Also, the Pacers head into the week having gone 2-1 ATS in their last 3 with the lone spread loss a 3-point straight up defeat to the Knicks as a 1-point favorite.
NBA ATS Pick: Indiana Pacers
Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets | Friday, Dec. 23
Brooklyn is 3-1 ATS in their last 4. Milwaukee is 2-2 SU and ATS in their last 4.
The key to this game is how well Brooklyn plays at home. Last week, the NBA fined the Nets for sitting too many players. Brooklyn should be at full strength.
Khris Middleton may not play. Giannis could also be doubtful. Even if the Bucks’ stars play, the Nets are the pick to cover because Milwaukee figures to face a tough road spread line as the chalk.
NBA ATS Pick: Brooklyn Nets
Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics | Sunday, Dec. 25
Milwaukee has a back-to-back against Brooklyn and then the Celtics. Boston doesn’t always step up their play against suspect competition, which explains why they head into the week on a 2-game losing streak to the Orlando Magic.
But the Celtics will pick it up versus Giannis and the Bucks on Christmas Day. Not only that, but in the last head-to-head, Boston blasted Milwaukee 109-81.
NBA ATS Pick: Boston Celtics
Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors | Sunday, Dec. 25
Golden State beat Memphis 110-96 in the last head-to-head, but Memphis heads into the week on fire. The Grizzlies fell to Oklahoma State in their last.
Before the loss, Memphis had gone 8-1 straight up and 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9. The Grizz rank first in field goal percentage allowed at 44%. So if Ja Morant plays, expect Memphis to keep this closer than the spread.
NBA ATS Pick: Memphis Grizzlies
Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets | Sunday, Dec. 25
Denver is 1-7 ATS in their last 8. The Nuggets are 12-17 ATS overall this season.
Phoenix starts the week on a 2-game ATS streak. The Suns have a winning 16-14 ATS record and beat Denver by 10 points as a -1.5 favorite in the last head-to-head. The Valley covers.
NBA ATS Pick: Phoenix Suns
