Betting on the NFL this season has been a task that should come with hazard pay given the number of surprising results we have seen. Week 10 was particularly strange, with many of the favorites to win the Super Bowl falling to what can best be deemed as lesser opponents. We also saw our first tie game of the year, with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions game ending 16-16. I guess what we are saying here is that we should probably expect the unexpected this coming weekend. While the results have made handicapping a good deal tougher than expected, we are not about to shy away from getting in our picks for Week 11. We will have ATS and O/U picks, as well as some parlays, coming your way, but for now, let’s focus on our SU picks so you can get ready to bet against the NFL odds.

Week 11 SU Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

Green Bay Packers over Minnesota Vikings

It’s never a great idea to say that a divisional race is over with half the season still remaining, but does anyone really believe that the Green Bay Packers are going to give up the lead in the NFC North? The Packers come into this weekend with an 8-2 record, with their closest challenger being the Vikings, who are currently at 4-5. These divisional games do tend to be somewhat unpredictable, though, as it is actually Minnesota who have had the best of the last 10 meetings with the Packers, going 5-4-1. That, though, came at a time when the Vikings were in the Super Bowl conversation. One thing to look at here is that the Packers have covered the spread in each of the last 5 road games. Since they are in as a slight favorite in this one, the SU pick looks very good.

Miami Dolphins over New York Jets

Both of these teams have been cast adrift in the race for the AFC East, and it is probably just a matter of time before both are eliminated from playoff contention. The Dolphins, though, are showing some signs of life and have won 2 in a row ahead of this one. That included a very surprising 22-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens in primetime in Week 10, with the Dolphins putting in an outstanding defensive performance. They are also expecting Tua Tagovailoa to be back this weekend. The Jets followed up a surprising win over the Bengals with back-to-back losses and have created a QB situation that is a nightmare. Miami have not been great on the road, but they have won 8 of their last 10 meetings with the Jets.

Carolina Panthers over Washington Football Team

When things are not going as hoped, teams tend to look for some sort of spark that can jumpstart their season. For the Carolina Panthers, that meant bringing Cam Newton back into the fold. Newton made his debut this past weekend and made a difference in a limited appearance. It would be an absolute shock if he wasn’t under center as the starter in Week 11. Washington is coming off a huge surprise win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it came at a cost, with Chase Young lost for the season with an injury. Washington has not had a lot of success in previous trips to Carolina, winning just once in their last 5 visits.
