ATS Betting Picks in Week 15 of the 2022-2023 NBA Season

NBA Week 15

  • When: Tuesday, Jan. 24 – Sunday, Jan. 29

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat | Tuesday, Jan. 24

In the last head-to-head, the Celtics beat the Heat 120-116. But the game went into overtime. Not only that, the Celtics didn’t cover.

Miami, though, is just 19-27-2 ATS heading into the week. To make matters worse for Heat backers, Miami is 1-3 against the spread in their last 4. Boston is the play.

NBA Week 15 ATS Pick: Boston Celtics

Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers | Wednesday, Jan. 25

Brooklyn had lost 5 straight against the spread, but in their last 2, the Nets picked it up. On Jan. 20, Brooklyn beat Utah 117-106 as a +5 underdog.

Then in their next match, Brooklyn beat Golden State 120-116 as a +7.5 dog. The Nets take on the 76ers where they’re likely to be at least an 8-point dog.

Philly is 3-0 ATS and SU in their last 3 contests heading into the week. The Sixers may not take a backward step earlier this week, but will versus the Nets.

NBA Week 15 ATS Pick: Brooklyn Nets

Dallas Mavericks at Phoenix Suns | Thursday, Jan. 26

At first glance, Dallas should have no trouble winning this straight up and against the spread. The Suns will be without Devin Booker. Phoenix’s best player won’t return to the court until early February.

But although Dallas looks like the play, the Suns ride a 3-game SU and ATS winning streak into the week. Not only that, but by this game on Thursday, DeAndre Ayton projects to be over the illness that is likely to sideline him on Tuesday. The Suns get the nod.

NBA Week 15 ATS Pick: Phoenix Suns

Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors | Friday, Jan. 27

These two last faced off on Dec. 18. The game wasn’t close. Golden State dominated Toronto 126-110.

The Raptors are a quality team, but Golden State is as healthy as they’ve been all season long. The Raptors will struggle to keep pace with Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Andrew Wiggins. The Warriors win and cover.

NBA Week 15 ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors

Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers | Saturday, Jan. 28

Both James Harden and Joel Embiid are questionable for the 76ers’ Wednesday matchup versus Brooklyn. If Harden and Embiid don’t play on Wednesday, they’re likely to throw down against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets on Saturday.

Denver remains one of the Western Conference’s best. But Jokic is listed as questionable for a Tuesday game versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Whether Jokic plays or not, at home, the Sixers should be tough to beat SU and ATS.

NBA Week 15 ATS Pick: Philadelphia 76ers

New Orleans Pelicans at Milwaukee Bucks | Sunday, Jan. 29

Heading into the week, the Pelicans are 2-4 ATS in their last 6. Also, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram won’t return to the court until early February.

The Bucks are healthy. But there’s a good chance Milwaukee rests Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo in this one. Still, Milwaukee figures to win and cover because this happens on their floor.
