NFL Week 4 Parlay Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Preview

2023-24 NFL | 104th season of the National Football League
NFL Week 4: Thursday, September 27th – Monday, October 3rd, 2023

2-Team Parlay Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers -3 at Huston Texans
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

C.J. Stroud played excellent ball against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is one of the reasons the Texans are just a +3 home dog versus T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers. But although C.J. outplayed Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, Stroud will struggle versus the Steel Curtain. The Steelers‘ defense is one of the best in the NFL. Pittsburgh covers.

The Saints had a shot to beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau but rookie kicker Blake Grupe missed the final seconds field goal. The line is at Saints -3 because word is yet to land on whether Derek Carr plays. Carr should and even if he doesn’t, the Saints’ defense will bottle up Baker Mayfield because the Bucs play the Saints on a short week and after tackling the Eagles on Monday night.

3-Team Parlay Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers -3 at Houston Texans
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills -2.5 vs Miami Dolphins

Miami scored 70 points against an uninspired Denver Broncos‘ defense. Denver gave up shortly after going down 14-0. Also, at least half of the 70 points came against the Broncos’ second unit. Denver’s first team defense is a mess.

The Bills have held the Raiders to 10 and the Commanders to 3 in their last couple of games. Buffalo is one of the most complete teams in the NFL. So covering the -2.5 looks solid.

4-Team Parlay Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers -3 at Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans Saints -3 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills -2.5 vs Miami Dolphins
Minnesota Vikings -3.5 vs Carolina Panthers

Carolina will start Andy Dalton, who can still play football. Also, the Panthers face a defense that has some talent but struggles to play full four quarters of great football. Minnesota, though, is desperate for a win and Shaq Thompson is out for the Panthers. The Vikings get it done by at least 6.

2-Team Parlay Money Line Pick

Baltimore Ravens +107 at Cleveland Browns
Green Bay Packers -102 vs Detroit Lions

The Ravens should be healthier this Sunday than they were in the upset loss to the Indianapolis Colts. More importantly, Cleveland will bounce after dominating the Tennessee Titans. Also, as good as Myles Garrett is, he faces Lamar Jackson on Sunday.

Green Bay tackles the Detroit Lions at home. So not only must the Lions battle a team that they historically have lost against, but Detroit’s speed won’t be as significant over Lambeau’s grass.

3-Team Parlay Money Line Pick

Baltimore Ravens +107 at Cleveland Browns
Green Bay Packers -102 vs Detroit Lions
New England Patriots +255 at Dallas Cowboys

The Cardinals didn’t just beat the Cowboys, AZ dominated Dallas. New England‘s defense is better than Arizona’s. So Bill Belichick should create a strategy to causes Dak Prescott to throw at least 1 interception.

Not only that, but Mac Jones played a good game against a strong Jets defense. Without Tevon Diggs at cornerback, the Cowboys will have trouble keeping Jones from throwing darts to Kendrick Bourne, Hunter Henry, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

4-Team Parlay Money Line Pick

Baltimore Ravens +107 at Cleveland Browns
Green Bay Packers -102 vs Detroit Lions
New England Patriots +255 at Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants -101 vs Seattle Seahawks

This is a back the home team play. The Seahawks looked good versus Carolina, but before thinking about how awesome Seattle played, consider that the Hawks gave up 27 points to an offense spearheaded by Andy Dalton.

Matt Breida is a good running back. So the Giants will move the football. NYG’s defense should have some success containing Geno Smith and the Seahawks’ offense. At home, the G-Men prevail.

Some Parlay Picks for This Week’s 2022 NFL Games | Week 4 Betting Picks

The oddsmakers have spoken, and we now have the NFL Lines for all of the NFL Week 4 games. In looking over this week’s slate of games, we’ve found three games that we’re very confident in. We think that if you put them in a parlay, you could end up being very happy on Sunday night.

Miami Dolphins @ Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5)

We’re going to start with the Thursday Night game, featuring the undefeated Miami Dolphins against the defending conference champions, the Cincinnati Bengals. Miami is coming off of a big win over the Buffalo Bills, while the Bengals won on the road against the New York Jets.

Even though the Dolphins won the game, there are some question marks after last week’s game. The first one being the availability of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He briefly left last week’s game with concussion-like symptoms. Many, including the NFLPA, feel that he shouldn’t have been allowed to come back. We’ll see if he’s ready to play on such a short turnaround.

The Dolphins only having three days rest could be a huge factor as well. The temperatures on the field last Sunday had the feel of over 115 degrees, so there were a lot of sore and tired players after that game. We’ll see how the players respond in such a short time.

The Miami defense has been giving up a lot of points and yardage this season, and Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense will look to take advantage of this. We expect a high-scoring game with a lot of offense (unless Tagovailoa doesn’t play).

Cincinnati is favored by 3.5 points in this one, and we can see why. We like Cincinnati as well. This is the week that the Dolphins will lose their first game, and they’ll lose it by a touchdown. Go with the home team here.

Chicago Bears @ New York Giants (-2.5)

The Bears may be the worst 2-1 team in the history of the NFL. They snuck by the San Francisco 49ers in a monsoon in Week 1, they were dominated by the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, and they beat a bad Houston Texans team in Week 3.

The Giants also come into this one at 2-1 after suffering their first loss of the season to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. The resurgence of Saquon Barkley has been huge for the Giants’ good start. With a strong running attack to support Daniel Jones, the Giants have been able to put some points on the board.

Justin Fields hasn’t completed more than eight passes in any of the three Bears games this season. Their offense has been average at best, and starting tailback David Montgomery left last week’s game with an ankle injury. Khalil Herbert came in and sparked the Bears offense, but we’re not sure who’ll get a majority of the carries this week.

Even though we’re not sold on either team being very good, we think the Giants are considerably better than the Bears. We like the Giants to win this one by a touchdown.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5)

Don’t look now, but the Jacksonville Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence are turning some heads. After last week’s win against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Jags look like a team that could be a playoff contender. Thus far in the season, the Eagles look like the best team in the NFC. Jalen Hurts has played well, the defense is very strong, and the Eagles are flying.

These two teams will meet in Philadelphia on Sunday. While we think Jacksonville is a good team, we think they’ll have trouble with Philadelphia. They have yet to face a mobile quarterback like Hurts, and they haven’t had to cover two good receivers yet this season. AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith have been a force this season.

Trevor Lawrence hasn’t had to deal with a defense like Philadelphia’s. Even though they got the running game going last week, and Christian Kirk has been a great signing, we don’t think the Jags are quite ready for Philly.

We like the Eagles to win this one by 10 points.

Parlay Picks for NFL Preseason Week 4 Betting Games

Previous Betting News

The long wait is almost over, as we are now just a couple of weeks away from the start of the 2022 NFL regular season. Before we get down to the serious business of playing games and trying to get to the playoffs, we have one more set of preseason games to come. This is the week when we might see more of the starters than we have over the past couple of weeks, but we still shouldn’t be expecting to see those guys for a whole bunch of time. While we wait for the real games to start. Let’s see if we can make some parlay picks for the final week of the preseason so you can place your bets against NFL Preseason Odds.

Parlay Picks for NFL Preseason Week 4 Betting Games

SU Parlay – Bills, Ravens, Steelers

The Bills will head into the regular season as the favorite to win the Super Bowl, and while we haven’t seen much of their starters in the preseason, they are still 2-0 and racking up points. Expect that continue versus the Carolina Panthers.

It’s tough to ignore a great streak when looking to make a wager, preseason or not. The Ravens have now won 22 straight preseason games, and while I hate to potentially jinx them, I think they extend that streak with a win over the Washington Commanders.

It seems as through the Steelers will start the regular season with Mitch Trubisky under center, but it has been a great QB battle this preseason, with all 3 quarterbacks looking solid. Look for the Steelers to have a perfect preseason with a win over the Lions.

ATS Parlay – 49ers (-3 ½), Cowboys (+3), Giants (+3)

We are set to begin a new era in San Francisco, with Trey Lance named as the starting QB for the season. The 49ers have been good in preseason, winning both games, and I like them to win and cover against the Houston Texans.

There seems to be some unrest in Seattle, with fans there less than pleased with their QB options after the departure of Russell Wilson. The Seahawks have lost both preseason games thus far, but they are a surprising favorite against Dallas. I like the Cowboys to cover.

Let’s stick with the underdogs for out final pick on this parlay ticket. We have a fun one set to go this weekend, with the New York teams meeting up. The Jets are a slight favorite, but I like the 2-0

O/U Parlay – Jaguars (O36 ½), Bears (U40 ½), Buccaneers (O41)

There are a lot of people who expect the Jaguars and Falcons to be heading into a season of discontent, so getting a win here might deliver a boost. The Jaguars have been giving up over 33 PPG this preseason, and the Falcons are scoring, so let’s go OVER.

One of the surprises of the preseason has been the Chicago Bears, who have won both of their games to this point. They will close out their regular season against the Browns in a game that I think will be low scoring.

There has been a little bit of concern in Tampa Bay, with Tom Brady out of the picture for 11 days for unknown reasons. He is back now, which might give the Buccaneers a boost versus the Colts. I think we see some scoring in this one.

I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?

If you like to increase your chances of cashing in on some bankroll-boosting NFL preseason parlay picks, then you’re going to have a great opportunity to do just that thanks to the trio of expert parlay picks that you’re about to get. With Week 4 quickly approaching, let’s get started with these great NFL lines.

Here’s a Closer Look at the NFL Preseason Week 4 Parlay Picks

New England at New York Giants (-3)

When: Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 7:00 PM Where: MetLife Stadium Over/Under: 40.5

Analysis: The New England Patriots re coming off a hard-fought 19-17 win over the Carolina Panthers and enter this contest looking to finish the preseason 4-0. Backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett led the Pats to victory with 85 passing yards and one touchdown and will start under center in this preseason finale.

The New York Giants look to finish the preseason at 2-2 after squeaking past the New York Jets 21-20 in their Week 3 matchup behind Ryan Nassib’s 69 passing yards and two touchdowns. Nassib will start for the G-Men in this affair.

For this Week 4 finale, I think the value lies with the only team in this contest with a competent defense, the New England Patriots. Not only that, but I love Patriots backup Jacoby Brissett, who for some reasons reminds me a little bit of Randall Cunningham.

My Pick: New England 24 NY Giants 21

Green Bay at Kansas City (-3.5)

When: Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 8:00 PM Where: Arrowhead Stadium Over/Under: 38.5

Analysis: The Green Bay Packers will look to finish the preseason with a perfect 4-0 mark after beating the San Francisco 49ers 21-10 in Week 3 behind Joe Callahan’s 167 passing yards and one touchdown. Callahan could get the start in this affair and will likely play at least a half.

The Kansas City Chiefs picked up a solid 23-7 win over the Chicago Bears as starting quarterback Alex Smith passed for 181 yards on 20 completions. For me, with Kansas City backup Nick Foles getting the start in this matchup, the Chiefs are the right pick to win and narrowly cover the NFL betting odds although I will admit that Green Bay backup Joe Callahan looked damn good last week.

My Pick: Kansas City 27 Green Bay 21

Seattle at Oakland (-1.5)

When: Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:00 PM Where: Oakland Coliseum Over/Under: 38

Analysis: The Seattle Seahawks will look to finish the preseason with three wins after beating the Dallas Cowboys 27-17 in Week 3 as Russell Wilson passed for 192 yards and two touchdowns. Backup Trevone Boykin will get the start for Seattle in this preseason finale.

The Oakland Raiders have been on the wrong end of consecutive preseason losses, including their humbling 27-14 loss to Tennessee in Week 3. Derek Carr passed for 169 yards and two touchdowns, but Oakland’s defense was nearly non-existent. Backup Matt McGloin will get the start in this matchup.

To get right to the point, I like Seattle to get the win behind the gifted – and totally underrated Trevone Boykin, a player that I loved in college and one that I believe still has plenty of star potential and is far and away better than Oakland’s Matt McGloin.

My Pick: Seattle 28 Oakland 20

Betting Analysis 2021 NFL Week 4

Will we see another overtime game around the NFL in Week 4? For the 10th time ever and first time since 2018, a game has gone to overtime in each of the first three weeks of the season. The Raiders already have played two OT games. Here are two matchups worth a parlay look for Week 4.

Houston at Buffalo (-17.5)

This could be the biggest spread we will see all season. Buffalo QB Josh Allen passed for 358 yards and four touchdowns and added one rushing touchdown in the Bills’ 43-21 win over Washington. He hooked up with Emmanuel Sanders for a pair of scores and threw one each to Zack Moss and Dawson Knox. Allen completed 10 of 15 passes for 200 yards and two TDs on throws of more than 10 yards downfield, tied for his second-most completions on those throws in a game in his career.

Allen is the fourth player in NFL history to record multiple career games with at least 300 passing yards, four touchdown passes and one rushing touchdown, joining Drew Brees (four games), Aaron Rodgers (three) and Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (two). He registered 311 passing yards with four touchdown passes and one rushing touchdown in Week 3 of the 2020 season.

Allen is the fifth player ever to record five games with at least 300 passing yards and four touchdown passes in his first four seasons, joining Patrick Mahomes (nine games), Hall of Famers Dan Marino and (nine) and Kurt Warner (six), and Andrew Luck (six).

Houston played last Thursday and lost 24-9 at home to Carolina as rookie Texans QB Davis Mills made his first NFL start with Tyrod Taylor out injured – Mills will start again this week. Mills completed 19-of-28 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. The No. 67 overall pick absorbed one bone-crushing hit after another, taking four sacks and nine hits.

Mills succeeded in an area that Culley and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly stressed going into the game: taking care of the football. During the preseason, Mills completed 48% of his passes and threw four interceptions in 65 attempts.

“What we did find out coming out of this game is that he can handle a lot more than what we felt like, because of the way he handled himself in this ballgame,” Culley said. “Moving forward, we’ll just get back to doing the things that we had started doing in that first game and a half when Tyrod (Taylor) was our starting quarterback.”

Arizona at LA Rams (-6)

These teams are tied atop the NFC West with 3-0 records. Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray passed for 316 yards and added a rushing touchdown in the Cardinals’ 31-19 win at Jacksonville on Sunday as Arizona improved to 3-0 for the first time since 2015.

Murray has rushed for a touchdown in each of his team’s first three games for the second season in a row. The only other quarterbacks with a rushing touchdown in each of their team’s first three games of a season since 1970 are Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw (1972) and Charlie Frye (2006).

Arizona is 5-12-1 with Murray as its starting quarterback when down nine points or more. Two of those wins have come in the past two weeks.

“To see us fight through that and come on the road, obviously, any given Sunday, not looking at anybody’s record, you can be beat on any given Sunday by anybody,” Murray said. “So, it’s good to get a win any way you can. That’s what we came out here and did, and that was the goal coming on the road, getting a win and that’s what we’re leaving with.”

The Rams beat the Bucs 34-24 on Sunday. Receiver DeSean Jackson recorded a 75-yard touchdown reception. Jackson is the fifth player in the Super Bowl era to register 10 career touchdowns of at least 75 yards, joining Devin Hester (14 touchdowns), Dante Hall (11), Josh Cribbs (10) and Tyreek Hill (10).

Matthew Stafford completed 27-of-38 passes for 373 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Stafford tormented a Tampa secondary that had allowed a 72 percent completion rate headed into Week 3, picking them apart underneath with Cooper Kupp and Tyler Higbee, and over the top with Jackson. The Rams’ passing attack was unstoppable on a day where they didn’t even pretend to establish the run against the fearsome Tampa front four.

“He pushes it down the field so easily,” Bucs coach Bruce Arians said about Stafford. “You’re right up in his face one time, he finds a guy wide open down the field and gets it to him. A lot of guys, they see it but they can’t get it to him. He’s a special player.”

Expert picks: Texans and Rams
