The NBA playoffs are underway, with a whole new batch of games coming every single night
2024 NBA Games To Bet On in Playoffs | MyBookie NBA Tonight Odds
The opening round can be a little frantic at times, but the league does a good job of spreading out the action so that we, as bettors, are not totally overwhelmed by a huge number of games and NBA betting options on any given night. For the purposes of this piece, we are going to focus on the Thursday night games, of which there are three. These are all Game 3 games, and while every game in a series is important, it is very often the third one that proves to be critical. This is certainly the case here, as we have a trio of teams in an 0-2 hole and in much need of a win. Will they get it? Let’s take a closer look at the Thursday night NBA playoff schedule and odds.
Cleveland Cavaliers +115 at Orlando Magic -135
7:00 PM at NBA TV | The Cavaliers took care of business at home, winning both games to head into Orlando with a commanding 2-0 series lead. This is a series that has been low in scoring and definitely lopsided, with the Cavs winning both games by double digits. While Cleveland was good on the road in the regular season, going 22-19, they will be up against an Orlando team that was very tough to beat in their own building, posting a 29-12 record. That is a solid record and one that they are going to need to lean on in order to get back into this series. That said, these two teams split the regular season series in Orlando, so the Cavaliers cannot be counted out tonight. I think the Magic get on back, and I also like the OVER in this one.
Cavaliers vs Magic Odds to Win in the Postseason
Betting Odds on NBA Playoffs
New York Knicks +188 at Philadelphia 76ers -227
7:30 PM at TNT | This is another situation of the home team holding serve in their own building, with the Knicks winning both games at MSG to take a 2-0 series lead. They won comfortably in Game 1, but the second game in the series was much closer and decided by just 3 points. The pressure is now all on the 76ers to get the job done in their building, as a Game 3 loss could well mean the beginning of the end of their playoff run. The concern for Philly is that they lost both home games against the Knicks in the regular season, but I still think they can overcome that and get back into this series with a Game 3 win. I also think we will see the OVER 204 points hit.
Knicks vs 76ers Odds to Win in the Postseason
Betting Odds on NBA Playoffs
Denver Nuggets -104 at LA Lakers -116
10:00 PM at TNT | The defending champions are out to a perfect start in their Round 1 series against LeBron and the Lakers, winning both home games to take a commanding 2-0 series lead. Despite that, they are still a slight underdog for Game 3. This is not all that surprising when you consider that the Nuggets lost both road games against the Lakers in their regular season series, but there is just something a little different about the playoffs, and we already know that the Nuggets are well equipped to handle that pressure. I think they head into LA and come away with a 3-0 lead, easily covering the small spread. I am also on the OVER, which is set at 217.

Top Games in the last Week of 2024 Regular Season
We are heading into the final week of action in the NBA regular season, with the play-in games to follow
MyBookie NBA Best Games This Week 25 | NBA Money Line Today
While we now officially know the top 10 teams in each conference, there are still some seeding issues to be taken care of. These will all fall into place over the next few days, starting with the Tuesday schedule. The league is dark on Monday night so as not to clash with the College Basketball Championship Game, but we will be right back at it tomorrow. As we do every week, we are going to look ahead to the upcoming NBA games and pick out the ones that are likely to mean the most, so let’s get right to it.
Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks
Tuesday, April 9, 7:30 PM at TNT | At this stage of the proceedings, it is more than clear that the Boston Celtics are going to be the team to beat this season. The general consensus was the Milwaukee Bucks might be the team to pose the most serious threat to the Celtics, but from what we have seen thus far, I can’t say I’m convinced that this will be the case. While the Celtics have barely missed a beat this season, the Bucks have been infuriatingly inconsistent, especially when you consider their talent level. They come into this week on a 4-game losing skid, but if they can beat Boston, it might just give them a boost ahead of the playoffs.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets
Wednesday, April 10, 10:00 PM at ESPN | For me, this is arguably the biggest game this week, especially when you consider the current state of affairs in the Western Conference. Both teams share the same 54-24 record, but it is the Timberwolves who hold the tiebreaker. They could really put the pressure on Denver with the win in this one, but that is not going to be an easy task on the road. Minnesota is a very solid 26-14 away from home, but the Nuggets have been very good at home, going 32-8 to this point. The winner of this one gets the advantage in the race to be #1 in the West.
New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings
Thursday, April 11, 10:00 PM at TNT | It’s a quieter schedule on Thursday, but we still have a very big game to look forward to. As previously mentioned, the top 10 teams are set in stone, but seeding is still not confirmed. Right now, both the Pelicans and Kings are in the play-in zone, but it is tight down by the cut line and both teams could still make it into the top 6. That task becomes a little more difficult for the loser of this one. Both teams closed out last week with a win and the Kings may have the slight edge at home, but this still promises to be fun.
Orlando Magic at Philadelphia 76ers
Friday, April 12, 7:00 PM | Another huge game here, albeit for very different reasons for each team. The Magic are very safe in the top 6, but they are also looking to hold onto the #3 seed, which is not a given with the Knicks right on their heels. There isn’t a huge difference between 3 and 4, but the higher finish is just a good psychological boost ahead of the playoffs. The 76ers are down in the #7 spot and a game below the cut line, but they are in great form at the moment, coming into this week on a 5-game win streak.
2024 NBA Week 24 Top Games
We are now very much in the home stretch of the NBA regular season, with the battle for playoff seeding still raging on.
MyBookie NBA Best Games This Week 24 | NBA Money Line Today
It does, at this point, look very much as though the top 10 teams in both conferences are all but set in stone, although the Houston Rockets might argue that point, as they are still alive in the play-in race in the Western Conference. This week, we are going to begin to see things become a whole lot clearer, but the fact of the matter is that we might need to go all the way down to the final game of the regular season before the postseason picture is fully in place. With that in mind, let’s look ahead to the NBA games that look huge on this week’s schedule.
Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans
Monday, April 1, 8:00 PM at NBA TV | Outside of the top 3 spots in the Western Conference, things are incredibly tight, which is going to make for a very interesting final couple of weeks. Right now, the New Orleans Pelicans are clinging to the #6 seed in the West, but there are a couple of teams that are just 2 games behind them. One of those is the Phoenix Suns, who really need to win this one if they are to find their way into the top 6 and an automatic playoff berth. The Suns won comfortably in their previous meeting with the Pelicans this season and will be hoping for more of the same on Monday night.
NBA Odds Today | Week 24
Oklahoma City Thunder at Philadelphia 76ers
Tuesday, April 2, 7:30 PM at TNT | It wasn’t so long ago that this matchup would have been considered a bigger deal than it is right now, but this is still a game worth watching. The 76ers looked comfortable in the top 6 for the majority of the season, but they are in a major skid right now and find themselves down in the play-in zone, 3 games out of the top 6. They are not likely to get any help from the Thunder, though, as OKC is still looking to nail down the #1 seed in the West, where they currently have a half game lead.
NBA Betting Line | Week 24
Oklahoma City Thunder at Boston Celtics
Wednesday, April 3, 7:30 PM at ESPN | As we just mentioned, the Oklahoma City Thunder are in a battle for the #1 seed in the West, but staying on top after this week is going to be no easy task, as they have a tough schedule ahead of them. The fact that they have tough games on consecutive nights means that their current status as the #1 seed looks shaky at best. The Boston Celtics are showing zero sign of slowing down, winning 8 of their last 10 games to maintain their 11-game lead at the top of the Eastern Conference. Let’s not forget that they have only lost 3 games on home court this season.
NBA Basketball Odds | Week 24
Denver Nuggets at LA Clippers
Thursday, April 4, 10:00 PM at TNT | We have a massive game in the Western Conference in a game that could go a long way toward deciding who finishes where when all is said and done. The Nuggets have already clinched their playoff spot as they look to start their run for a repeat as the #1 seed in the West. Right now, they are a half game off the pace. It looks like the Clippers might need to settle for the #4 seed in the West, but with a couple of teams hot on their heels, a win here would give them some breathing space.
NBA Odds Las Vegas | Week 22
2024 NBA Week 23 Top Games
When you get to this late stage of the NBA regular season, it’s fun to watch which teams get hot as the playoffs get ever closer.
MyBookie NBA Best Games This Week 23 | NBA Money Line Today
While certainly not guaranteed, a strong finish in the regular season can often mean playoff success. If we are to apply that metric right now, then you really have to like the look of the Boston Celtics, as they are currently on a 9-game winning streak and the undisputed #1 team in the league. You also have the Houston Rockets winning 8 in a row, but they are still sitting outside the play-in zone. That could change quickly if they can keep reeling off wins. We have just a few short weeks left in the regular season, but let’s stick to the week ahead and the NBA betting games that we love over the next few days.
Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings
Monday, March 25, 10:00 PM at NBA TV | A few short weeks ago, both of these teams looked to be securely in the top 6 of their respective conferences. Now, though, both have dropped into the play-in zone. They need to find a way to recover their earlier season form if they are to find a way back to the top 6 and a guaranteed playoff spot. The 76ers did close out last week with a win, but they are just 4-6 in their last 10. The Kings have been better, winning 7 of their last 10 and are now just a half game out of the #6 seed. This really is a bit of a coin flip type of game, so do you go with home court advantage?
Oklahoma City Thunder at New Orleans Pelicans
Tuesday, March 26, 8:00 PM | There is a definite split in the Western Conference, with the top 3 teams pulling away from the pack. The OKC Thunder are in that main group and just a half game out of the top spot. They closed last week with a loss, but they have still won 7 of their last 10 games. The Pelicans are down in the #5 spot and are on a hot run, winning 2 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games overall. This is the deciding game in the regular season series, with the previous 2 meetings ending in a split.
Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets
Wednesday, March 27, 10:00 PM at ESPN | The Suns came into this season as one of the favorites to win it all, but they have not really lived up to expectations. They are currently sitting in the #6 seed in the West, but they are also just a half game up on the play-in zone. They are in good form right now, though, as they have won 3 in a row and 7 of the last 10. The Denver Nuggets, the defending champions, are back in the top spot, but it is close up there. This is a potential playoff matchup, so it’s a big one.
Milwaukee Bucks at New Orleans Pelicans
Thursday, March 28, 10:00 PM at NBA TV | It’s a quiet day on Thursday with just 2 games on the schedule, but we do have a good one to talk about. It’s increasingly looking as though Milwaukee will land the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference, as they are now 3 games up on the Cavaliers, who are heading in the wring direction. They are going to have their hands full against the Pelicans, who, as we mentioned earlier, have won 8 of their last 10 games.
2024 NBA Week 22 Top Games
We are at the stage of the NBA regular season where we are starting to see teams clinch playoff spots, while others get officially eliminated.
MyBookie NBA Best Games This Week 21 | NBA Money Line Today
As it stands now, we only have one team (Boston Celtics) that has clinched, with 4 teams now out of playoff contention. Those numbers will grow in the coming weeks and days, but with all that, it is now easier to identify the bigger games on the weekly schedule. With that in mind, it’s time to look ahead to the next few days and pick out the NBA games that we believe to be the most important of the bunch, so let’s get right to it.
Atlanta Hawks at LA Lakers
Monday, March 18, 10:30 PM | While this is certainly not the most glamorous matchup on the schedule this week, it has huge playoff implications for both teams. Both teams are holding on to the final play-in spot in their respective conferences, and while both currently look safe, you never really can tell. The Hawks are coming off a huge win over the Clippers on Sunday night and are looking to do the LA double. They seem locked into the #10 seed at the moment, but a winning run might move them up. The Lakers are down in the #10 spot in the West and come into this one on a 2-game losing streak. They need to get back to winning ways to ensure that they don’t fall out of the play-in zone.
Denver Nuggets at Minnesota Timberwolves
Tuesday, March 19, 9:00 PM at NBA TV | The race for the #1 seed in the Western Conference is about as close as can be, with both of these teams very much in the hunt for that top spot. The Nuggets had the lead for a minute last week, but they lost their last game and are now down in the #2 spot, a half game out of first. They are also a half game up on the Timberwolves, but the gap is closing, with Minnesota winning 2 in a row and 6 of their last 10 games. The Nuggets do have a winning road record at 20-15, but they will have a tough time against a T-Wolves team that is an impressive 23-8 at home.
Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics
Wednesday, March 20, 7:30 PM at ESPN | Another big matchup, this time in the Eastern Conference, although this game does not have the same impact as the previous game we discussed. As mentioned earlier, the Celtics have already secured a postseason spot, and with a 9 ½ game lead in the East, it’s only a matter of time before they clinch the conference too. The Bucks have been a little up and down all season, but they now have a game and a half lead over the Cavaliers for the #2 spot and could help their chances of finishing in that spot with a win in this one. The Celtics have only lost 3 at home, so winning there is not going to be easy.
New Orleans Pelicans at Orlando Magic
Thursday, March 21, 7:00 PM at NBA TV | We close this week’s preview out with a matchup between a pair of teams that will be headed to the postseason. The Pelicans have cooled off a little of late and have dropped down to the #5 spot in the Eastern Conference. That said, they seem to be on the way back, closing out last week with 2 straight wins and 7 victories in their last 10. They are 21-13 on the road this season. The Magic are in the #5 spot in the East and also playing well right now, winning 3 in a row and 8 of their last 10.
2024 NBA Week 21 Top Games
We are at the stage of the NBA season where teams are now down to their last 20 games or fewer in the regular season.
MyBookie NBA Best Games This Week 20 | NBA Money Line Today
In short, we are approaching the homestretch, which means that the race for playoff spots and seeding is about to switch into high gear. In the Eastern Conference, it is now only a matter of time before the Celtics clinch the #1 seed, but outside of that, there is still a lot to be decided in the final few weeks of the regular season. That final push begins this week, with a ton of big games on the upcoming schedule. There are plenty of great matchups to choose from, but we are going to try and narrow that down to 4 NBA games that we really like this week to Bet on, so let’s get to it.
Phoenix Suns at Cleveland Cavaliers
Monday, March 11, 7:30 PM | If the season were to end today, both of these teams would head into the playoffs as a top 6 team in their respective conferences. The current reality, though, is that neither team is playing particularly well at the moment, with both going 5-5 over their last 10 games. That alone makes this an interesting matchup. Phoenix is barely clinging to the #6 seed in the West, but they will hit the road with a winning 16-13 record away from home. The Cavaliers have cooled off dramatically of late, but with a 22-12 record in their own building, they might well be able to get back to winning ways on Monday night.
Minnesota Timberwolves at LA Clippers
Tuesday, March 12, 10:00 PM at TNT | The battle for top spot in the Western Conference has been fun to watch and is likely to stay that way until the end. The Timberwolves were there for a while, but after going 5-5 in their last 10 games, they are now down in the #3 spot, a game and a half out of the #1 seed. The Clippers are sitting 4th overall and looking to close the gap, which they can do with a win in this one. It is worth noting that while the T-Wolves are on the road for this one, they do have the best conference record in the West, so perhaps being away from home might not mean much.
LA Lakers at Sacramento Kings
Wednesday, March 13, 10:00 PM at ESPN | Ending up in the play-in games is certainly not ideal, but it is better than missing out on the postseason altogether. That said, both the Kings and the Lakers will be looking to work their way back into the top 6 in the final weeks of the season. The Kings are only a half game out, as well as being 2 games up on LA, but it is the Lakers who have the momentum at the moment, coming into the new week having won back-to-back games. Will that momentum carry on over into what is a huge game?
Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder
Thursday, March 14, 10:00 PM at TNT | There is a definite split opening up in the Western Conference right now, with the top 3 teams beginning to move away from the rest of the pack. Beyond that group, things are incredibly tight, which should make the final few weeks of the season fun to watch. The Thunder have the #1 seed at the moment, and as good as they have been of late, that lead does not feel safe. The Mavericks are trying to move their way back into the top 6, and a win over the top team could give them a real boost that will serve them well the rest of the way.
2024 NBA Week 20 Top Games
As the NBA season marches on, the playoff picture is starting to look a good deal clearer.
In the Eastern Conference, the race for the #1 seed appears to be over, with the Boston Celtics on an 11-game win streak that has them sitting 8 ½ games up on their closest rival. Over in the Western Conference, the team in the #10 spot, which represents the last of the play-in spots, is now 5 ½ games up on the pack, which suggests that we know which 10 teams will be playing beyond the end of the regular season. There is still the business of the final seeding to be decided, and that promises to be a fun battle all the way to the end. Now that we know how things stand, let’s look ahead to the games that jump off the schedule for us in the NBA over the next few days.
LA Clippers at Milwaukee Bucks
Monday, March 4, 8:00 PM at NBA TV | It has been an up and down season at times for both of these teams, but both will be playoff bound, so this is a big one. The Clippers appear to be in the process of pulling out of a slump, ending last week with back-to-back wins to get back to .500 over their last 10 games. While the chances of catching the Celtics look slim indeed, the Bucks are digging deep and going after the #2 seed, with their win streak now sitting at 6 games. The Clippers are a solid 18-12 in road games this season, so look for them to give the Bucks a bit of a fight on Monday night.
Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers
Tuesday, March 5, 7:30 PM at TNT | As we mentioned at the top of this piece, the Boston Celtics are rolling right now, winning 11 in a row and basically looking unbeatable. They will, though, get a very stern test on Tuesday night, as they have to hit the road to face a Cleveland Cavaliers team that is making a serious push for the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Cavs have cooled off in recent weeks, going 5-5 in their last 10 games, but this is a team that is 20-11 at home and who are sure to be up for this game.
Oklahoma City Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers
Wednesday, March 6, 10:00 PM | There are not really any standout games on the Wednesday night schedule, but this one is a game that I find to be rather intriguing. The Thunder have worked their way to the top of the Western Conference, winning 7 of their last 10 to get a half game ahead of both the Timberwolves and Nuggets. This is definitely a game that you would expect them to win, but the Trail Blazers ended last week with back-to-back wins, although that means they now have just 2 wins in their last 10. Still, could they pose a problem for the conference leaders?
Boston Celtics at Denver Nuggets
Thursday, March 7, 10:00 PM at TNT | The fact that we have Boston on here twice tells you that they are in for a tough week on the road. Their game against Cleveland on Tuesday night is a big one, but this matchup might be bigger still, as there are some who will see this as a potential preview of the NBA Finals. The defending champion Nuggets have been putting it all together of late and are now just a half game out of the lead in the West after winning 6 in a row. Both of these teams are red hot right now, so this matchup should be a beauty.
2024 NBA Week 19 Top Games
Roughly two-thirds of the NBA regular season is now in the books, and while things look a certain way right now, there is a good chance they will look different by the time we get to the playoffs.
2024 NBA Week 18 Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | NBA Money Lines Today
Some things do seem certain, such as the Boston Celtics winning the Eastern Conference, since they show zero sign of slowing down and allowing some other team to close the gap at the top. The West is where things are about to get really wild, as the battle for the #1 seed there is far from over. It’s all going to be fun to watch play out, but we are taking it one week at a time. With that in mind, let’s take a peek that the upcoming schedule for this week as we pick out some NBA games that we think are of the must bet variety.
Miami Heat at Sacramento Kings
Monday, February 26, 10:00 PM at NBA TV | The Heat come into this week on a good run of form, as they have now won 3 in a row and are on the brink of moving out of the play-in zone and into the top 6 in the East. Winning on the road is never easy, but the Heat actually have more road wins (16) than they do home wins, so they cannot be ruled out here. The Kings are also on a 3-game win streak, but they are still down in the #5 spot in the West, 6 ½ games out of the lead. They are a solid 16-9 in their own building. This is a great non-conference matchup that should be fun to watch.
Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics
Tuesday, February 27, 7:30 PM at TNT | As we mentioned at the top of this piece, the Boston Celtics look to be in total control of the Eastern Conference, with their lead currently sitting at 7 ½ games. Boston heads into this week on an 8-game winning run, with 9 wins in their last 10 overall. They are also still amazing on home court, going 26-3 in their own building. This could all be bad news for the 76ers, a team heading in the wrong direction after winning just 3 of their last 10 games. They have been decent on the road at 15-11, but this is a tough, tough test for them.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls
Wednesday, February 28, 8:00 PM | It is always interesting to see which teams move into high gear once we get deep into the second half of the season. Right now, you have to say that the Cleveland Cavaliers are in that group, as they have moved all the way up to second in the Eastern Conference standing, albeit still well behind the Celtics. They are an impressive 18-9 on the road and will need to be good against Bulls team that has a winning record at home. Chicago is in the play-in zone and looking to win their way into the top 6.
Golden State Warriors at New York Knicks
Thursday, February 29, 7:30 PM at TNT | We have a big non-conference game on Thursday that is important for both teams, albeit for very different reasons. The Warriors are clinging to the final play-in spot in the Western Conference, but they are also a team on the move after winning 8 of their last 10 games. Their road record was a problem last season, but this year they are 13-12 away from home. The Knicks are currently in the #4 spot in the East, but they have cooled off a little, going just 4-6 in their last 10 games. The Knicks are an impressive 19-9 at home, so expect a good one here.
2024 NBA Top Games After All Star Break
We have a quieter week coming our way in the NBA, as we still have a few days of inactivity after the All-Star Game. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Best Games of the Week 17
The games return on Thursday night, with every team now well aware that we are heading into the most important part of the regular season. The trade deadline has passed, which means that every team now knows what they are working with. Whether that is enough to win a championship remains to be seen, as the final seedings are going to play a big role in how tough each path will be to the NBA Finals. We are simply focusing on the games coming this week, so let’s look at 4 that we really like the look of.
Phoenix Suns at Dallas Mavericks
Thursday, February 22, 7:30 PM at TNT | For a while, it looked as though it was not going to be a particularly good season for the Phoenix Suns, but they have slowly clawed their way back into things. They have won 7 of their last 10 games and are now in the #5 slot in the Western Conference, although still 6 games out of the #1 seed. The Mavericks started the season strong before slipping, but they look to be on the way back after winning 6 straight games. They are still a game out of the top 6, so they will be looking to continue winning to get out of the play-in zone.
LA Clippers at Oklahoma City Thunder
Thursday, February 22, 8:00 PM | The Western Conference has been a ton of fun to watch this season and I think it’s only going to get better as we head down the stretch. These two teams figure to be in the hunt for the #1 seed, so this is definitely an important matchup as the jockeying for position at the top of the conference continues. The Clippers are in the #3 spot at the moment and ended the first half of the season going 7-3 in their last 10 games. That helped them close the gap a little on the Thunder in the #2, but can they leapfrog them with a win here?
Cleveland Cavaliers at Philadelphia 76ers
Friday, February 23, 7:30 PM at ESPN | We have a pair of teams heading in different directions here, but while both are in very different runs of form at the moment, this still figures to be a very good matchup. The Cavaliers ended the first half as one of the strongest teams in the league, winning 9 of their last 10 games, but you have to wonder if they can get back into that groove after the All-Star Break. With just 3 wins in their last 10 games, the 76ers probably needed the break, so a big win over a conference rival would be a good way to return to action.
Milwaukee Bucks at Minnesota Timberwolves
Friday, February 23, 10:00 PM at ESPN | The Bucks are another team that were probably happy to see the break arrive, as they were on a run that saw them win just 3 of their last 10 games. This is a team that should be a whole lot better than that given the talent they have at their disposal, so maybe they will kick it up a gear in the second half. The Timberwolves have no such issues, ending the first half on a 4-game winning streak that helped them open up a game and a half lead at the top of the Western Conference. This looks like a fantastic matchup.
2024 NBA Week 17 Top Games
We have just a few more days before the All-Star Break, which can either be a blessing or a curse for teams. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Best Games of the Week 17
For those that are struggling or having injury issues, the break is a chance to rest and regroup. On the flipside, the team that are rolling right now probably don’t really want the time off for fear that it might have a negative impact on their current form. No matter what side teams fall on, the break is inevitable, so it’s now all about winning those final games before the weekend arrives. As we do every week at this time, we are going to look ahead to the next few days and pick out the games that jump out on the NBA schedule, so let’s get right to it.
Philadelphia 76ers at Cleveland Cavaliers
Monday, February 12, 7:00 PM | The Monday night schedule is home to some very good matchups, but this is the one that intrigues me the most. The 76ers are coming off a win, but victories have been few and far between of late, with Philly going just 2-8 over their last 10 games, a run that now leaves them 9 ½ games out of the top spot. At this point, it’s all about staying in the top 6. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, are surging, coming into the new week on a 9-game win streak that has moved them all the way up to the #2 spot. Can they take that streak into double-digits?
Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns
Tuesday, February 13, 10:00 PM at TNT | Yes, there is still a lot of basketball to be played between now and the end of the regular season, but it is beginning to look as though the top 4 in the Western Conference is set in stone. Both the Kings and the Suns will still feel as though they can crack that top 4, but they will need to become more consistent for that to happen. Both teams are 6-4 in their last 10 games, but the Suns are now a half-game up on the Kings, which is the difference between top 6 and the play-in zone. Will we see them swap spots this week?
New York Knicks at Orlando Magic
Wednesday, February 14, 7:00 PM | After a solid run that moved them up to the #4 spot in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks ran into a bit of a brick wall and have now lost 2 in a row. As bad as that may seem, let’s not forget that this team has still won 7 of its last 10 games, so there is a feeling that this slump will be of the temporary variety. Still, the Magic, who have won 2 in a row, might well see this as a chance to take down a wounded animal with a win that could potentially get them back into the top 6. This is an intriguing matchup.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Portland Trail Blazers
Thursday, February 15, 10:00 PM | It’s slim pickings on Thursday night, as we have just 3 games on the schedule, which comes a day before the start of the All-Star Break. This may seem like a bit of a lopsided affair, but I think it’s important for the Timberwolves, who would love nothing more than to end the first half of the season on top of the Western Conference. The need to win this one to make that happen, which delivers some pressure in and of itself. Portland is on a 4-game losing skid right now, but can they end the first half by taking a big scalp?
2024 NBA Week 16 Top Games
As we edge ever closer to the All-Star Break, we are seeing both conferences take very different directions. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Must Bet Games This Week 16
Over in the East, the Boston Celtics are looking less and less likely to see their lead at the top slip. In fact, they are opening up on the pack, and while a 5-game lead is not insurmountable, they are just not slipping up at all. Things are not quite as clear in the Western Conference, where any number of teams could get on a roll and take the top spot. I think we will see the lead change hands several times before the regular season come to a close, which makes things very exciting for fans. We are not looking that far ahead, though, so let’s focus on the big games coming our way over the next few days to consider in your NBA betting plans.
Sacramento Kings at Cleveland Cavaliers
Monday, February 5, 7:00 PM | There are a few good games coming our way on Monday night, but this one stands out for me. The Kings have been a little up and down of late, but they seem to be getting back on track, winning 2 in a row and 6 of their last 10, which has them sitting in the #5 seed in the Western Conference. The Kings have been decent on the road, going 15-11 away from home. The Cavaliers are rolling at the moment and have won each of their last 5 games, as well as 9 of their last 10. They are 17-8 at home and are now #3 in the Eastern Conference.
Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns
Tuesday, February 6, 10:00 PM at TNT | For the longest time, we thought that the Milwaukee Bucks would be the team to challenge the Celtics for the East, but they have been highly inconsistent of late, going 5-5 in their last 10 games to fall 5 games back of Boston. Most of their issues have come on the road, going 12-12 in road outings. The Suns got out to slow start, but they are creeping up the standings now and are finally in the top 6 in the West. They have won 7 of their last 10 games and are sitting at 14-11 in home games. This one definitely feels like a coin flip.
New Orleans Pelicans at LA Clippers
Wednesday, February 7, 10:00 PM at ESPN | As mentioned at the top of this piece, the Western Conference is incredibly tight, with both of these teams currently on win streaks. The Pelicans have struggled a bit of late, going 5-5 in their last 10 games, but they have won 2 in a row as they look to climb back out of the play-in zone. They are 14-11 in road games this season. The Clippers have won 8 of their last 10 games and have climbed all the way up to the #3 spot in the Western Conference, just a single game out of the top spot.
Denver Nuggets at LA Lakers
Thursday, February 8, 10:00 PM at TNT | At first glance, this looks like an easy win for the Nuggets, but the Lakers have a habit of saving their best for the best teams in the league. The Nuggets, who are the defending champions, have won 3 in a row and 7 of their last 10, and while they are sitting in 4th in the West, they are just a half game out of first. The Lakers are down in the #9 spot in the West, but they have won 2 in a row, but perhaps more importantly, they are good at home, going 17-8 in their own building.
2024 NBA Week 15 Top Games
It’s the start of another new week in the NBA, and while the Eastern Conference seems to be heading the way of the Boston Celtics, the Western Conference is a good deal tighter. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Must Bet Games This Week 15
There is, of course, no guarantee that things will stary the way they are now, as we often see fortunes change dramatically in the second half of the season, with some teams almost certainly set to strengthen their squads ahead of the trade deadline. We are taking things one week at a time, and with it now being Monday, it’s once again time to look ahead at the big games coming our way this week. We have 4 games that we really love this week to consider in your NBA betting plans, so let’s take a closer look.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Oklahoma City Thunder
Monday, January 29, 8:00 PM | They don’t really come much bigger than this game, with the winner of this matchup set to take the lead in the Western Conference. Both teams are currently sitting at 32-14 this season, but it is the Thunder who hold the tiebreaker after winning 2 of their previous 3 meetings with Minnesota this season. Both are coming off a loss to close out last week, but OKC have had the better of things over the last 10 games, winning 7, while the T-Wolves won 6 in the same stretch. Who will close out Monday night on top of the West? I can’t wait to find out.
Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics
Tuesday, January 30, 7:30 PM at TNT | As mentioned at the top of this piece, the Boston Celtics have a stranglehold on the Eastern Conference, helped in large part by the fact that the Bucks cannot seem to stay consistent. Boston is 35-11 overall and have won 7 of their last 10 games, while also going 21-2 in their own building, although both losses have come over the last couple of weeks. The Pacers are down in the #6 spot, but they are on the move after winning 3 in a row. Indiana is playing .500 ball on the road, but can they get a game above here?
Sacramento Kings at Miami Heat
Wednesday, January 31, 7:30 PM | It has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the Kings over the past couple of weeks, going 5-5 in their last 10 games. They seem to be on the up right now, though, as they start the new week on a 3-game winning streak. On another positive note, they have been decent on the road, going 12-10 away from home. They are 9-5 in non-conference games. The Heat are currently sitting in the play-in zone in the East and have not had a ton of joy versus the West, going 6-7 in those outings.
Philadelphia 76ers at Utah Jazz
Thursday, February 1, 10:00 PM at TNT | It’s a quiet night on the Thursday schedule, but I do like the look of this non-conference matchup. The 76ers are in the #3 slot in the Eastern Conference, 5 games back of the Celtics and 2 games out of the #2 seed. They have been dominant in non-conference games, going 10-4 in those matchups. The Jazz are clinging to the final play-in spot in the West, but this is a team that has proven tough to beat in their own building, going 12-5 at home, making this a tough test for the 76ers.
2024 NBA Week 14 Top Games
The midway point of the regular season has come and gone, and while the All-Star Game is still about a month away, the second half push is now beginning for every team in the league. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Must Bet Games This Week 14
This is the time of the season when decisions need to be made, with teams needing to figure out whether to strengthen at the trade deadline, sell and plan for the future, or stand pat and hope for the best. It’s going to be an exciting month as we push toward the break, and it will be interesting to see how things look at that point. For now, we are taking it one game at a time, which means that we are going to look ahead and pick out the NBA games we love from this week’s schedule, so let’s get to it.
Boston Celtics at Dallas Mavericks
Monday, January 22, 8:30 PM | The Celtics continue to hold the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference, with their lead now extended to 3 ½ games. They finally took their first home loss of the season and now have to start the new week with a difficult trip to face the Dallas Mavericks, who are clinging to the #6 seed in the Western Conference. Dallas has been just okay in their own building, going 13-9 at home, while the Celtics have very much been beatable on the road, going 13-9 away from home. This is an intriguing matchup that could go either way.
LA Lakers at LA Clippers
Tuesday, January 23, 10:00 PM at TNT | While the Clippers wait for their new home to be built, they continue to share a space with the Lakers, making it a little odd to talk about home and away records in this game. The Lakers, who are 5-5 in their last 10 games, remain stuck in the play-in zone, as they look to climb out and start moving up. The Clippers are 6 ½ games up on their rivals and playing some great ball at the moment, winning 8 of their last 10 games. This is a big rivalry matchup, so all of that might well go out the window.
Phoenix Suns at Dallas Mavericks
Wednesday, January 24, 8:30 PM at ABC | The fact that we have Dallas on this list twice tells you just how big their week is going to be. The good news for them is that while they have a tough schedule this week, at least they get to play on their home court. Since we have already talked about them, lets now turn our attention to the Phoenix Suns. It has been an unexpectedly mediocre season for the Suns to this point, but they are a team on the rise, winning 5 in a row and 7 of their last 10 games. They have been solid enough on the road, going 11-7 away from home, so they could prove problematic for the Mavericks.
Philadelphia 76ers at Indiana Pacers
Thursday, January 25, 7:00 PM | Another good Eastern Conference battle is coming our way on Thursday night, with the 76ers hitting the road to face the Indiana Pacers. Philly is rolling at the moment, heading into the new week on a 5-game win streak that has them in the #3 spot in the conference, 4 ½ games back of the Celtics. They are a very solid 12-7 on the road, so definitely a threat to the Pacers, who are 13-8 in their own building. Indiana is sitting in the first play-in spot and looking to get back into the top 6, so a big game for them, too.
2024 NBA Week 13 Top Games
Another week of NBA action is in the books and the All-Star Break is drawing ever closer. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 13
We have another big week ahead of us, with several teams beginning to get on a roll, while a few others are slipping down the standings and beginning to look as though they are in trouble in regards the playoffs. This is the stage of the season where teams begin to think long and hard about the trade deadline and what they might do. There will be buyers and sellers, with the next couple of weeks sure to play a big part in determining what teams decide to do. We are taking it one week at a time, which means that we are looking ahead to the rest of this week and the big games on the schedule, so let’s get to it.
Indiana Pacers at Utah Jazz
Monday, January 15, 9:00 PM at NBA League Pass | We just spoke about some teams that are on the rise in the standings, with the Utah Jazz very much in that conversation. While they are still sitting down in the play-in zone in the Western Conference, they are rolling at the moment, winning 5 in a row as they come into the new week. They have been particularly good at home, going 14-5 in their own building. The Pacers closed out last week with a loss, but they haven’t had very many of those in the past few weeks, winning 8 of their last 10 games to hold onto the #6 spot in the Eastern Conference. This should be a good one.
Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers
Tuesday, January 16, 7:30 PM at TNT, NBAC | This is arguably one of the biggest games on the schedule this week, as both of these teams are in the conversation for the #1 seed in their respective conferences. The defending NBA Champion Nuggets have won 2 in a row and 7 of their last 10 games and are now just a game out of the top spot in the West, which I have a feeling they will eventually take. The 76ers are having a tougher time keeping pace with the Celtics and Bucks in the East, but they are in the #3 spot, 5 games out of first. They have cooled off of late and are just 5-5 in their last 10 games.
Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers
Wednesday, January 17, 7:30 PM at ESPN, TSN | Another big game here, with both of these teams playing very good ball in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are trying to keep pace with the high-flying Boston Celtics and are currently 2 ½ games out of the top spot. They have won 3 in a row coming into this week, but the Bucks have not been great on the road and are 9-8 away from home. The Cavaliers, who are 13-8 in their own building, are on the rise, winning 4 in a row ahead of this one to move up to the #4 spot in the East.
Indiana Pacers at Sacramento Kings
Thursday, January 18, 10:00 PM at NBA League Pass, NBAC | It’s a bit of a quiet night on Thursday, but let’s once again take a look at the Indiana Pacers, who have a tough road trip coming their way this week. We have already spoken about them earlier in this article, but let’s go back to the well for their Thursday game against the Kings, who come into this week on the heels of a thriller against the Milwaukee Bucks, a game they ultimately lost. The Kings have now lost 2 in a row, but they are tough at home, going 13-7.
2024 NBA Week 12 Top Games
As we approach the midway point of the NBA regular season, it’s a good time to take a look at the conference standings to get an idea of just how well each team might fare in the second half of the season. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook Week 12
While the Eastern Conference looks to be in the total control of the Boston Celtics, who are just not experiencing any type of slump, the Western Conference could go in any number of directions, although you have to think that the defending champion Denver Nuggets look primed to put the pedal to the metal. It will be interesting to see how things do eventually play out, especially once the trade deadline passes, but for now, our focus is on the big games that are coming our way this week, so let’s dive right in to consider in your NBA betting plans.
Phoenix Suns at LA Clippers
Monday, January 8, 10:30 PM at NBA TV, SN | As we just mentioned, the Western Conference is still very much up for grabs, with just 4 games separating 1st from 7th. Given the current odds, the bookies still feel like there is a chance that the Phoenix Suns will put it all together and make a run. This is despite the fact that they are in the play-in zone in the #9 seed and the moment and playing .500 ball over their last 10 games. They have been decent on the road, going 8-6 away from home, but this is definitely a tough one. The Clippers are coming off a loss, but they are in the #4 spot after winning 7 of their last 10 games. They have been particularly good at home, going 14-4 in their own building.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Orlando Magic
Tuesday, January 9, 7:00 PM at NBA League Pass | Heading into the new week, it is the Minnesota Timberwolves still sitting in the top spot in the Western Conference, but you do have to wonder just how much longer they will stay there. The T-Wolves have cooled off recently and have been playing .500 ball over the last 10 games. They are 11-8 on the road, which isn’t awful, but they are definitely better in their own building. The Magic are sitting in the #4 spot in the East, but they are 7 ½ games out of the top spot, which should give you some idea of good Boston has been this season. The Magic have won 2 in a row and are 13-4 in their own building.
Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat
Wednesday, January 10, 7:30 PM at NBA League Pass | We could easily have picked the Minnesota/Boston game on Wednesday night, but since we have covered the T-Wolves already, lets instead focus on this matchup. The Thunder have won 7 of their last 10 games, but they closed out last week with back-to-back losses. OKC is just a game and a half out of first in the West and have been decent on the road, going 9-6. The Heat are 6-4 in their last 10 games as they look to claw their way out of the play-in zone. They are 9-6 in home games this season.
Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks
Thursday, January 11, 7:30 PM at TNT, TSN | With the Bucks going just 6-4 in their last 10 games, the Celtics have now opened the lead at the top of the Eastern Conference to 3 ½ games. Milwaukee has already found it tough to close the gap at the top and will see their task become even more difficult if they end up losing this one. They will, though, like their chances on home court, where the Bucks have gone 16-3 this season. While the Celtics are still perfect at home, they have been beatable on the road, going 11-7 in hostile territory.
2024 NBA Week 11 Top Games
As we head into the New Year, we are starting to see some of the teams at the top separate themselves from the pack in the NBA. 2024 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook
It will be interesting to see if those teams can continue to dominate all the way to the All-Star Break and into the second half of the season, but we have a lot of ball still to be played before we get an answer to all of that. As we do at this time every week, we are looking ahead at the games coming over the next few days. There are always some that jump right off the schedule, and those are the ones that we will be including in our NBA must bet games of the week, so let’s get right to it.
Miami Heat at Los Angeles Clippers
Monday, January 1, 10:30 PM at NBA League Pass, SN | We have a pretty decent calendar of games scheduled for New Year’s Day, but this non-conference matchup is the one that is jumping out to me. Miami is sitting in the #4 spot in the Eastern Conference, but they are a little way off the top, sitting 7 games back of the Celtics atop the East. The Heat are rolling, though, winning 7 of their last 10 games, plus they are a respectable 10-7 on the road. The Clippers closed out last week with 2 straight wins and have now won 8 of their last 10. They have been very good in their own building, going 13-4 in home games this season.
Boston Celtics at Oklahoma City Thunder
Tuesday, January 2, 8:00 PM at NBA League Pass | This may well be the biggest game on the weekly schedule, never mind just on Tuesday night. The Boston Celtics are the current favorite to win the NBA Championship this season, which is not that surprising when you consider that they are 26-6 right now, winning 6 in a row and 9 of their last 10 games overall. The Thunder are all the way up to the #2 spot in the Western Conference and are also hot, winning 4 in a row and 8 of their last 10. OKC is 13-5 at home and will be a tough test for the Celtics, who have been beatable away from home.
Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers
Wednesday, January 3, 7:00 PM at NBA League Pass | It must be a frustrating time for the Bucks at the moment, as they just cannot seem to make up any ground on the Celtics at the top of the Eastern Conference. Despite winning 9 of their last 10 games, all they are doing is keeping pace with the leaders, which could potentially make for a great conference battle in the near future. They are just 8-6 on the road, though, and have a tricky one against the Pacers on Wednesday night. Indiana is 9-7 at home, but they closed out last week on a 3-game win streak and are close to getting out of the play-in zone.
Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors
Thursday, January 4, 10:00 PM at TNT, SN | There are only a couple of games on the Thursday night schedule, but we have a good one among that pair, with the defending champion Denver Nuggets on the road to face the Golden State Warriors. Denver closed out last week with a loss, but that is a rare blip on what has been a fine run of form that saw them win 8 of their last 10. The Warriors are heading in the opposite direction, losing 3 in a row to fall to 5-5 in their last 10 games, all of which has them sitting below the play-in line and in desperate need of a win.
2023 NBA Week 10 Top Games
While the majority of professional athletes will be enjoying time with their family on Christmas Day, there are some who will be suiting up and going to work. 2023 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: October 24, 2023, to April 14, 2024
It has become something of a tradition for the NBA to play games on Christmas Day, and this year is no different, with a handful of games to choose from throughout the day. We will, of course, be picking a game from the Monday schedule that we really like, as well as looking ahead to the rest of the schedule this week to find some other games that jump out as being must bet. With that in mind, let’s dive right in and get to the games we love on the schedule this week to consider in your NBA betting.
Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Lakers
Monday, December 25, 5:00 PM at ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, TSN | What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with one of the iconic NBA rivalries? That is what we are getting this Christmas, with the Boston Celtics set to head out West to face the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics continue to churn out wins, going 22-6 thus far and winning 8 of their last 10 games. As good as they have been, they are finding it tough to shake the Milwaukee Bucks, who are hot on their heels. The Lakers are having an odd year, winning the in-season tournament but also still finding themselves stuck in the play-in zone in the Western Conference. All of that tends to go out the window when these two meet up, as anything can happen.
Indiana Pacers at Houston Rockets
Tuesday, December 26, 8:00 PM at NBA League Pass, TSN | We have a solid non-conference matchup set to go on Tuesday night, with both teams looking to get something going, as both are stuck in their respective play-in zones. The Pacers closed out last week losing back-to-back games and are now on a run that has seen them win just 4 of their last 10. They have had some problems on the road, too, going 6-7 away from home this season. The Rockets are beginning to head in the right direction, closing out last week with 2 straight wins, which means that they have now won 7 of their last 10. They are an impressive 12-2 at home, so the chances of them keeping their win streak alive looks pretty good.
Philadelphia 76ers at Orlando Magic
Wednesday, December 27, 7:00 PM at NBA League Pass | There is very little separating these two teams in the Eastern Conference, which makes thus matchup all the more intriguing. The 76ers went through a bit of a rough patch recently, but they now appear to have come out the other side of that and are now on a run that has seen them win 8 of their last 10 games. They have been very good at home but also not too shabby on the road, winning 8 of 12 in hostile territory. The Orlando Magic have lost some ground in the Eastern Conference, going just 4-6 in their last 10 games, although they are still currently sitting in the #4 seed. One this that has been consistent is their play at home, with Orlando going 11-3 in their own building, so this will be a tough one for the surging 76ers.
2023 NBA Week 9 Top Games
Best Games of the Week: One of the best things about a long season is watching it all unfold, watching as the fortunes of teams rise and fall based on several different factors. 2023 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: October 24, 2023, to April 14, 2024 | NBA Week 9
While all of that is going on, most of us keep an eye on the odds to see how things are changing, trying to figure out when is the best time to strike and get that NBA futures bet on. That said, there are also plenty of bettors who like to take things day by day, wagering on the games that jump off the schedule. That is what we are going to do here, as we look ahead to the biggest matchups that the NBA is delivering over the next few days. Without any further ado, let’s get to it.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Miami Heat
Monday, December 18, 7:30 PM | We don’t have to wait very long to get to the big games this week, as there is a very good matchup on Monday night. The Timberwolves are hot right now, winning 3 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games to open up a 3-game lead atop the Western Conference. They have gone 8-4 in road games this season, but they may not have it all their own way in Miami, with a Heat team that is sitting in the #5 spot in the East. They are 15-11 on the season, but they are going to be tough to beat at home, where they are 7-5 right now.
Boston Celtics at Golden State Warriors
Tuesday, December 19, 10:00 PM at TNT | The top 3 teams in the Eastern Conference are all in the midst of a lengthy win streak and are pulling away from the pack. The Boston Celtics are still the team to catch, as they are at 20-5 this year and a game and a half up on their closest rival. While they are unbeaten at home, the Celtics have proven to be beatable on the road, going 6-5 to this point. The Warriors are surprisingly sitting below the play-in line at the moment, but they are showing some signs of life, closing out last week with back-to-back wins. If they can get another win here, it might just spark a longer positive run.
Los Angeles Clippers at Dallas Mavericks
Wednesday, December 20, 8:30 PM | This promises to be a good one, with both teams sitting in the top 6 in the Western Conference standings. The Clippers are very much on the move and are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, closing out last week on a 7-game win streak that has them at 15-10 on the season. They have struggled away from home, though, going 4-7 to this point. Dallas is up in the #3 spot in the Conference, but they have cooled off a little of late, going 6-4 in their last 10 games. They are 7-5 at home, so certainly beatable.
Orlando Magic at Milwaukee Bucks
Thursday, December 21, 20:00 PM | It was a rough weekend for the Magic, who lost back-back games to the Boston Celtics, losing ground in the race for top spot in the Eastern Conference in the process. Overall, they are still on good shape, though, going 16-9 on the season, but that is somewhat tempered by the fact that they are a couple of games below .500 in road games. Milwaukee has won 4 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games, but perhaps more importantly, they are 14-2 in their own building, so another tough test for the Magic.
2023 NBA Week 8 Top Games
Best Games of the Week: When you have a regular season as long as what we have in the NBA, it is inevitable that teams will go on positive and negative streaks. 2023 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: October 24, 2023, to April 14, 2024 | NBA Week 8
With that in mind, matchups that might not have caught the eye a couple of weeks ago are now considered the best games on the schedule. With a couple of months gone in the season, we are now at the point where we believe that we have every team figured out, but those streaks can change perceptions rather quickly. We will be using that, as well as some other factors, to pick out the best games on the NBA schedule for the coming week, so let’s dive right in and get to the games that are, in our opinion, the best that the NBA has to offer this week.
Minnesota Timberwolves at New Orleans Pelicans
Monday, December 11, 8:00 PM | If we are going to talk about positive streaks, we need to talk about the Minnesota Timberwolves. They come into this week having won 6 in a row and 9 of their last 10 games, a run that has them 3 games up on the nearest challenger in the Western Conference. They will hit the road on Monday night as they look to improve on their 7-3 record in road games. The New Orleans Pelicans will serve as the hosts, and while they are down in the #10 seed, their 8-4 record on home court suggests that they will not be an easy out.
LA Lakers at Dallas Mavericks
Tuesday, December 12, 7:30 PM at TNT | You have to say that it has been a successful start to the season for the LA Lakers, who beat the Pacers to become the first champions of the NBA in-season tournament. They are also now moving in the right direction in the standings, winning 3 in a row and 7 of their last 10 to move up to the #5 seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers have struggled on the road, though, and will have a tough trip to Dallas to face the Mavericks on Tuesday night. Dallas has won 2 in a row to get into the #3 seed in the West, and while they do have a winning record at home, this will be a tough test for them against the surging Lakers.
Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks
Wednesday, December 13, 8:00 PM | This is arguably one of the biggest games of the week, with both teams playing very well in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers ended last week on a solid run of form, winning 3 in a row to move to 12-8 overall, which has them 3 ½ games out of the top spot. It also has them just 2 games back of the Bucks, so things could tighten up with a win for the Pacers in this one. They are 5-3 away from home, but they are going against a Milwaukee team that has been great in their own building, going 10-3.
Golden State Warriors at LA Clippers
Thursday, December 14, 10:30 PM at NBA TV | This is an interesting matchup in that while these teams are lower than expected in the Western Conference, both are still very talented teams. The Warriors started the season well enough, but things have not gone well of late, with just 4 wins in their last 10 games. That has them sitting just below the play-in line, so they really need a win to get back into playoff contention. The Clippers appear to be coming to life, ending last week on a 3-game win streak that has them up into the #9 spot.
2023 NBA Week 7 Top Games
Top games that you must bet this week: It has been an interesting start to the 2023 NBA season, with the introduction of the In-Season Tournament adding a new twist to the early part of the year. That tournament, though, has made the schedule a little different than what we are used to. 2023 NBA Betting MyBookie Sportsbook | Regular Season: October 24, 2023, to April 14, 2024 | Week 7
For example, we don’t yet know which games will be on the Thursday schedule until the tournament games are done and dusted in the early part of the week. Despite all of that, there are still plenty of matchups that jump out to us, which we will get into in just a moment. With Thursday still up in the air, we will work around that and pick out the games that stand out right now, keeping in mind that the tournament might throw out some better ones later in the week to consider them in your NBA betting.
In-Season Tournament: Boston Celtics at Indiana Pacers
Monday, December 4, 7:30 PM at TNT | The first 2 days of the week are devoted to the tournament, with just 4 games on the schedule over those 2 days. There may only be a few games, but given their importance, they might all be considered a must bet, which is why those will be the games we are selecting for this piece. The Celtics enter the new week tied for the best record in the NBA at 15-4, while also being on a 3-game win streak. The Pacers have been a little up and down, going 5-5 in their last 10 games, but they have saved their best for this tournament, so I would not totally write them off in this one despite them being the underdog.
In-Season Tournament: New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings
Monday, December 4, 10:00 PM at TNT | The 2nd tournament game is in the Western Conference and is perhaps a little more evenly matched than the other Monday game. These games have a very different vibe, though, so it’s tough to know how they will play out. The Pelicans have had an odd start to the season, going 11-10 to this point, which has them down in the play-in zone. They are just 3-6 on the road and will be travelling to face a Kings team that is a solid 6-2 in their own building. The Kings are also winners of 7 of their last 10 overall.
In-Season Tournament: New York Knicks at Milwaukee Bucks
Tuesday, December 5, 7:30 PM at TNT | This is a fantastic matchup in the Eastern Conference Tournament, with both of these teams playing very good ball at the moment. The Knicks are up to the #5 spot after winning 3 in a row and 7 of their last 10 to move to 12-7 overall, which includes a record of 6-4 in road games. The Bucks were a little slow getting out of the gate, but they are rolling now, winning 8 of their last 10 games. Perhaps more importantly, they are 9-1 at home, so this is a very tough one for the Knicks.
In-Season Tournament: Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Lakers
Tuesday, December 5, 10:00 PM at TNT | This tournament has proven to be a very good thing for a few teams, who might otherwise be less than pleased with their start to the season. The Lakers are one team who can certainly take some positives from their showing in the tournament, but overall, it has been a mixed bag. They are currently in the play-in zone, sitting at 12-9 this season. The Suns took a minute to get rolling, but they are now in very good form, winning 8 of their last 10 to move to 12-8 and into the #5 seed.
