A crazy NFL Week 9 where the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, and Green Bay Packers all lost didn’t lead to many changes on the NFL Power Rankings. Why? Green Bay has been bad for a while, the Rams lost to Tampa, and Buffalo’s loss was their second of the season. Keep reading for the updated NFL Power Rankings after week 9 so you can continue betting against the NFL Lines.
2022 NFL Power Rankings Betting Update After Week 9
2022-23 NFL Regular Season
- When: Sep. 8, 2022 – Jan. 8, 2023
NFL Power Rankings Heading Into Week 10
- Philadelphia Eagles 8-0 – On Monday night, Philadelphia goes for their ninth straight win.
- Buffalo Bills 6-2 – Losing to the Jets isn’t as embarrassing as it used to be. We didn’t ding the Bills for the loss.
- Kansas City Chiefs 6-2 – Patrick Mahomes rallied the Chiefs to an overtime win against the Titans, which is a big deal because Tennessee is an AFC contender.
- Minnesota Vikings 7-1 – The Vikings face the Bills on Sunday so we should expect Minny to grab their second loss of the season.
- Tennessee Titans 5-3 – The Titans should have beaten the Chiefs. Luckily for Tennessee, they play in the worst division in football, the ridiculous AFC South.
- Dallas Cowboys 6-2 – Dallas got a bye last week. On Sunday, the Boys travel to Lambeau to face one of the worst teams in the NFL in Green Bay.
- Seattle Seahawks 6-3 – Seattle takes on Tom Brady and the Bucs as +3 road dogs in week 10.
- New York Giants 6-2 –On Sunday, the G-Men throw down against the Houston Texans. Like Dallas, the Giants should end Sunday with a 7-2 record.
- Baltimore Ravens 6-3 – Roquan Smith changes Baltimore’s outlook. The Edgar Allan Poes are now Super Bowl contenders.
- New York Jets 6-3 – J-E-T-S is 3 Zach Wilson interceptions away from being 7-2. So, yeah, the New York Jets is for real.
- Miami Dolphins 6-3 – Tua is one of the league’s top quarterbacks. But unfortunately for the Dolphins, the defense, which was their strength last season, has struggled.
- Los Angeles Chargers 5-3 – The Bolts used at least two mirrors and a lot of smoke to get by the Falcons. The Chargers should have a ton of trouble versus the Niners on Sunday night.
- San Francisco 49ers 4-4 – SF remains a game behind the Seahawks for first place in the NFC West. If the 49ers cut out the mental errors, they will have a chance to overtake Seattle.
- Cincinnati Bengals 5-4 –Cincinnati’s quest for the AFC North got much tougher last week after the Ravens traded for linebacker Roquan Smith.
- New England Patriots 5-4 – The Patriots blasted the Colts. But even though they are 5-4, New England is in last place in the deep AFC East.
- Atlanta Falcons 4-5 – The Falcons had the Bolts on the ropes. A wild sequence, where the Falcons forced and recovered a fumble before losing it back to Los Angeles, is why the ATL is 4-5 instead of 5-5.
- Washington Commanders 4-5 – The Commanders played too well to lose against the Vikings in week 9. Washington has a real shot of, yes, upsetting the Eagles on the money line in NFL Week 10’s MNF tilt.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-5 – Tom Brady rallied the Buccaneers to a 13-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Bucs are in tie with the Falcons atop the NFC South.
- Los Angeles Rams 3-5 – Los Angeles played well enough to beat the Bucs. But instead of winning, the Rams fell further behind the Seahawks in the NFC West.
- Indianapolis Colts 3-5-1 – The Colts are a mess. Last week, Indianapolis got rid of their offensive coordinator. This week, the Colts fired head coach Frank Reich and hired former center Jeff Saturday.
- Arizona Cardinals 3-6 – The Valley isn’t living up to expectations. If Arizona doesn’t rally for a playoff spot, Kliff Kingsbury could be out of a job.
- New Orleans Saints 3-6 – Like Kingsbury, Dennis Allen is on the hot seat. The Saints’ quarterback situation is a mess, the team is undisciplined, and for every excellent performance there’s been two awful performances.
- Green Bay Packers 3-6 – Nobody at Green Bay is in danger of being fired, but we must question why hand Aaron Rodgers a massive contract during the offseason only to field an offense that averages 17 points per game?
- Cleveland Browns 3-5 – Have the Browns turned it around? The game versus Miami on Sunday will tell us more.
- Chicago Bears 3-6 –Justin Fields had a record breaking day on the ground in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. Things are looking up in Chicago.
- Denver Broncos 3-5 – Denver faces a tall task versus the Titans in their next. Tennessee is playing well on both sides of the ball while Denver’s offense remains one of the worst units in the league.
- Jacksonville Jaguars 3-6 – Jacksonville’s 27-20 win over the Raiders shows the team has some talent. The problem is consistency.
- Las Vegas Raiders 2-6 – Vegas’s record is not what Raiders fans had in mind when the organization hired Josh McDaniels as head coach.
- Pittsburgh Steelers 2-6 – If Kenny Pickett develops more, Pittsburgh will start winning football games.
- Detroit Lions 2-6 – The Lions got the win over Green Bay. But, lately, everybody has beaten Green Bay. So the victory doesn’t impress that much.
- Carolina Panthers 2-7 – The Panthers have zero plans on making things better this season, which means the losses will mount.
- Houston Texans 1-6-1 – The Texans’ roster doesn’t stack up against the other 31 teams in the NFL. So unless their opponents hand them games, Houston won’t win.
