NFL 2023 Power Rankings of the Week 5: The first month of the season is in the books, and while some teams are struggling to live up to expectations, others are blowing right through them. 1. San Francisco 49ers

Another week, another comfortable win for the 49ers, who look like the real deal.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles remain unbeaten, but the injuries are starting to pile up on the defensive side.

3. Buffalo Bills

A commanding win over the Dolphins in Week 4 showed that the Bills are still kings of the East, for now.

4. Kansas City Chiefs

A less than convincing win over the Jets on Sunday, but the Chiefs continue to roll.

5. Dallas Cowboys

The best way to bounce back from a bad loss is to win, which the Cowboys did in Week 4.

6. Miami Dolphins

A bit of a reality check for Miami this past weekend after getting blown out by the Bills.

7. Baltimore Ravens

A win over the Browns puts the Ravens very much in charge in the AFC North.

8. Detroit Lions

Living up to the hype is tough, but the Lions are doing it as they move to 3-1.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A better than expected start to the season, but can the Bucs keep it going?

10. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle has settled down nicely after a surprise loss in Week 1 and have now won 3 in a row.

11. Cleveland Browns

Back to .500 for the Browns after a divisional loss to the Ravens.

12. Los Angeles Chargers

Offensively solid, but the D is giving up way too many splash plays, which is hurting the cause.

13. Jacksonville Jaguars

This team is proving to be frustrating, as we never seem to know what we are going to get from them.

14. Green Bay Packers

Very similar to the Jaguars in that the Packers are proving to be inconsistent.

15. LA Rams

2-2 after the first month is probably better than a lot of Rams fans expected.

16. Washington Commanders

After opening with 2 wins, the Commanders have now lost 2 in a row.

17. Indianapolis Colts

After 2 wins in a row, a loss to the Rams this weekend has to sting.

18. New Orleans Saints

Another team on the slide after losing back-to-back games.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers

What on earth is going wrong with this Steelers offense? Shaping up to be a long season.

20. Houston Texans

Noe at 2-2 after a win over Pittsburgh. CJ Stroud looks to be the real deal.

21. Tennessee Titans

A big win over the Bengals moves the Titans back to .500.

22. Atlanta Falcons

This is going to be a long season if the Falcons cannot protect their QB.

23. Arizona Cardinals

After a huge win over the Cowboys, it was back to business as usual for Arizona this past weekend.

24. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings finally got their first win of the season, but things still look rough.

25. Cincinnati Bengals

This may be the biggest surprise of the opening month of the season.

26. NY Giants

A loss to the Seahawks dropped the Giants to 1-3 on the season.

A better showing this week against the Chiefs, but still a loss.

Want to beat the Panthers. Use the run game and make them try to stop you. No sign they can do it yet.

This team simply seems to go from bad to worse.
