2023 NFL Week 7 Power Rankings Analysis

1. Kansas City Chiefs

The defending champions have now won 6 in a row as they take over the #1 spot.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

While not always entirely convincing, the Eagles just keep finding a way to win.

3. San Francisco 49ers

After a surprise loss on Monday night, the 49ers drop a couple of spots in the Week 8 rankings.

4. Miami Dolphins

2 losses for the Dolphins this season, with both coming against teams favored to win the Super Bowl.

5. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are on the rise after a very impressive blowout win over the Lions.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars

Another team that is frustrating at times, but you cannot argue with the results.

7. Dallas Cowboys

No change for the Cowboys, who return to action this weekend after a bye.

8. Cleveland Browns

A dramatic come from behind win in Week 7, but a potential injury to DeShaun Watson.

9. Detroit Lions

A drop this week for the Lions, who got a serious beating from the Ravens.

10. Buffalo Bills

Something is not right with the Bills at the moment, as they are now just 4-3.

11. Seattle Seahawks

A low-scoring win over the Cardinals helped Seattle move up a couple of spots this week.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers

The defense was on top once again in a big road win over the LA Rams.

13. Cincinnati Bengals

At 3-3, the Bengals are last in what is a very tight AFC North.

14. Atlanta Falcons

A big divisional win for the Falcons in Week 7, but a tough road trip ahead this weekend.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Another divisional race that is tight, but the Bucs are losing ground.

16. New York Jets

Back-to-back wins for the Jets. Maybe we wrote them off too quickly.

17. Houston Texans

The .500 Texans return to action after a bye week.

18. Los Angeles Chargers

It is proving to be a disappointing season for the Chargers, who are now at 2-4.

19. LA Rams

A home loss to the Steelers sees the Rams fall below .500 as they slip down the rankings.

20. New Orleans Saints

Some good moments for the Saints this season, but they still look like the unfinished article.

21. Minnesota Vikings

A Monday night win that could prove to be a real confidence booster. We shall wait and see.

22. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts must still be reeling after losing to the Browns in a game they looked to have won.

23. Washington Commanders

A truly disappointing loss to the Giants in Week 7 and a rankings slide.

This is a young team, and that inexperience is starting to show.

A close win over the Packers takes some of the pressure off the Broncos.

You have to say that the Bears looked solid in a win over the Raiders.

31. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have looked better than expected, but they cannot seem to put together a full game.

32. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are still looking for their first win of the season.
